Explored Iceland for 5 weeks; cycling 4 weeks and hiking one week (primarily in the Iceland highlands). I experienced a lot of adverse weather; involving massive winds and stinging rains during my solo bikepacking excursion. I'll admit I'm also incredibly rough with my gear, and truth be told, I've never been able to come home from one of my annual solo 5 week expeditions exploring a new region of the globe with rain pants still fully intact. I stayed dry even while biking and backpacking for hours (all day in some occasions) in bad weather. The pants are robust and held up to all that I demanded of them! They're lightweight and packable! I often wished for pockets, as I wore them quite regularly and would have valued this feature. Full zip also would be nice, but no issues on/off with the current system

I purchased these pants for spring to fall hiking - which can be wet and unpredictable temperature wise. They are exactly as described: light weight, packable, and completely waterproof. They fit large so even an XS on a small frame (5'4/110lbs; 1.6m/50 kg) pulls on over hiking pants easily, with room to spare.

I've never had a pant before that kept me dry in down pours. These pants are the best. They are also warm so usually just wear a pair of shorts underneath.

I bought for a trip to Ireland...Dingle Peninsula; 10 days 100 miles... I need a tall and these fit the bill..and the seams and way they open on the sides to get on/off is well designed... I ordered up...I like a loose "rain" pant so I can wear over my hiking pants.

These pants are a great fit for me (5'11" & 145 lbs) in size medium tall. The fit is not bulky but does leave room for hiking pants underneath. Very lightweight but seem like they will be durable, pack down well when not in use.

I bought this product as a snowboarding pants but it didn't work because the calf area is not enough for the boots. However it is not supposed to be used for snowboarding anyways. And it is really flattering!! I am really into the color Dimma and the pants make my legs look long and slim. Love it!

I really like these rain pants. I spend a lot of time outside in the spring rain. Since these are made with Gore-Tex, they actually keep me dry. Worth every penny! They fit me true to size.

I picked up these pants for backpacking and hiking in the monsoons of the Pacific Northwest. They have been fantastic. I can add them to my day pack and back pack in case of emergencies and I never know they are there. Super light! They are worth every cent. They also breath exceptionally well.

Bring rain pants they said, it's going to rain everyday they said. So I purchased these pants thinking it was a bit overkill to spend so much on a pair of rain pants. Nope! Worth every penny. We were hiking for several days in the Nryfjord region of Norway and the rain was relentless. I took them off after a 18 mile hike in treacherous rain and my pants underneath were bone dry. I was surprised and so were the folks hiking with us. I give these pants two thumbs up!

I loved these rain pants. They performed perfectly while hiking in the Scottish Highlands. While other members of my group got soaking wet, these pants (and the matching jacket) kept me dry and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

An absolutely fabulous! I took these with me hiking in the Lake District in the UK where the weather can change in the blink of an eye. The Zeta SL pants kept me dry and protected from the elements... sometimes I just wore them to keep warm! When the sun was shining, they easily stowed away in my Index 15 day pack. Very lightweight and easy to pack. I'm so glad I bought them.

I needed an emergency minimalist rain shell pant for Kilimanjaro that I can easily put on over other layers. These are exactly what I needed. I know I'll be using these as a "key" rain piece for years and years. There are no frills, but the pant has everything you actually need - long zippers to get these on over boots and a simple waist adjuster. There are no pockets, but if it's raining, I don't plan on utilizing pockets anyway. I'm 5'4 and 150 lbs and the size L/short is perfect. I can't wait to wear these! The purple/grey color is also pretty.

These are great Gore-Tex pants. They have worked for me in many different situations including fishing and hiking. They are easy to slide over my hiking boots with the side zips. They do not have pockets, but I just use the ones on my top instead. They are a bit slim fit, making them hard to get over baggier pants, however the waist is high and adjustable so its mostly just on the legs that they are a bit tight.

Got these in tall for hiking and canoeing in the rain. They fit true to size. They are snug though, so could be a bit of an issue when I'm sitting in the canoe for long stretches of time. However getting rain pants is very difficult for someone who needs a 34" inseam. They will come to the top of my boots in sitting which isn't bad, but not perfect as water can still drip into the boot. I didn't want to size up to a large as it would become super baggy. It's very difficult getting pants and jackets and tops as a super tall woman. The pants should be fine for hiking though. I do wish that arcteryx would make more pants and tops/jackets in a tall size. Choices are so limited! I have to buy large jackets with thumb holes in order to fit my sleeves, but they are always too big in the body.

Amazing material and rain pant in general. I know these are technical pants which isn't always about style.... but these are soooo baggy in the butt it looks weird. And I don't normally have this problem with pants. It makes me feel like I need to go down a size but they don't make anything smaller than a XS. I'd like them to fit better if I'm spending the money on them.

The adjustment loop inside the waist of the pants has too much slack when fully expanded and the excess loop doesn't have anywhere to go-- would also be nice for the strap to be a little wider because it cuts into the waist/hips when tightened!

I was stoked when I ordered these as they are noticeably extremely light. However it drives me crazy that no Arc'teryx rain pants seem to have elastics or buttons on the ankles to tighten them. My old ones did and they were great, I could make them nice and snug around the boot. Yes it would add weight, but minimally and it would be very worth it to me. As well, the draw string design around the waist works but seems cheap. I returned them and wouldn't recommend. For the price I expect perfection.
