Hard to tell about the fit because it's difficult to choose a size with no size chart. I purchased a large because that is what I normally wear. These could fit a little snugger but I'm not sure a medium would be big enough. It would be helpful if a size chart were easier to view when purchasing these or other compression items..

I'm always a size small in compression wear, I'm usually a size 4-6 in womens pants, however these fit quite tight for a size small, and not in a "sucks you in" kind of way but in a muffin top squeezed sausage kind of way. Also the grey color is more purply. Nonetheless, they're quite cute but I am wishing I bought a medium

True to size. My daughter wears these for High school Cheer practice. She is 5’2” and 98lbs. She is a size 0 and wears an XS in these. She loves them!

These are my daughters’ go-to shorts for gymnastics and volleyball. The purple shade of these is rich and dark and will go with a lot.

Watch out!!!!!They call this obsidian in the description (which is black) but they are NAVY Blue.

Purchased 4 colors in size small. Some waistbands feel a little tighter than others but overall the shorts seem nice. They are different from my other Nike Dri-fit 3" in that the waistband is different. The waistband comes as pictured, but is described as only on the left and when you fold it over you will see it on the inside middle back of the shorts, that is inaccurate, go based on the pictures. I am returning the pink ones because they are see through.

Light weight but just a bit too short for me.
