Love the boots. But I've had them less than two months and one of the back straps has broken. Not happy with this purchase!

My Joules wellies did not last one season. It's sad because they are otherwise comfortable and super stylish. Perhaps it was a faulty pair, I don't know, but I decided to stick with a pricier brand that lasts longer.

I order a 9 because I am usually somewhere between the 8.5 and 9. They are perfect because I wear them with heavy socks and an arch support insert (Rubber boots are so basic, there never is any arch support - So I just create my own). My feet stayed warm and dry while slogging through mud and water. I wanted something utilitarian but it never hurts to look fabulous too!

I was looking for a field wellie that was not too large around my narrow calves. These fit really well on me. I expected some openness around my calf - but it’s not so much that they look strange. I did purchase a pair of wellie boot liners and that takes care of the look completely. The style is fantastic - classic and cute. I do worry about the buckles over time, so I will take care of my use of them. I love that there is a little bit of a heel for me as well. I really couldn’t be happier. Compared to my LLBean wellies, these are as cute/possibly cuter? But the Bean wellies are my go-to for more rugged activities.

I ordered a 9 which is my street shoe size. They are a little wide for me around the ankles but I have narrow feet. I love the style and ordered the socks insert. The insert seemed to fill in around the edges for the width at my ankle. So far so good with a rainy, snowy, icy day - my first day out the precip was constantly changing. The traction on these is great! I'm very satisfied.

The shoe feels a little loose around the ankle but it's a rain boot and I would rather loose than tight. The box is so pretty, just by the way. The boots are cute, feel a little heavy and loose but overall very comfortable. I normally wear an 8.5 but 9 in boots and ordered a 9.

I wear an 9 in regular shoes, but a 9 in these is way too big. I'd suggest going down a whole size. I like the look, but I am returning them and keeping the Hunters because they fit and feel great.

I tried these boots because I was tired of the hunter boots cracking. They're new so I have no idea if they'll crack, but I can tell you that they have minimal support... which I improved by adding superfeet. I wear them on the farm in the summer and usually have a skirt on and the blue dye comes off on my legs. had to get tall socks...

I purchased these for a clam digging trip on the coast. I love the easy in and off style. I feel like they are true to size with a slight larger fit. I purchased a size 5. I typically am a size 5.5 and will usually order a size up. With these, I went with a 5 and they are perfect. If you are in between sizes, I would size down.

I’m very happy with these boots. They fit much better overall than more costly brands. I like the style too. I added an insert for extra arch support.

I love the style of these boots and the overall fit. I tried Hunters but they didn’t work for me- two different styles. These Joules are just right. I did add inserts based on reviews and that gives just the right support and because they run large, it works well. Love the back buckle and the yellow stripe styling. I’m very happy with these boots. Third time is a charm! I did buy them for walking my rain loving dog!

The boots arrived in less than one week from ordering! This is my first pair of Joules (and Wellys) ever, and I am impressed. True fit, don’t have to compromise with extremely heavy socks, and they are distinguishable by the yellow stripe on back. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 and ordered the 9. We have snow in Colorado right now, but can’t wait till spring to try them...the boots are heavy, but I expected that.

Ordered the 6&7 and as recommended the 6 was perfect. I adore the color and the fit is perfect room for light socks over tights (cold in New England rainy springs!) I’m complimented every time I wear them. Love Love

Like other reviewers have suggested, this feels a full size larger than advertised, so unfortunately, I'll have to return. I did like the very generous amount of calf space--makes removing the shoe very easy.

I’m usually an 8.5 in regular shoes/boots, and went down to an 8 in these boots. With thin socks on there is plenty of room, and I think the 9s would be huge. The width is generous, and the boots are comfy and stylish. The inside is a cute plaid pattern! One aspect I really like is that these boots don’t make my feet feel huge and clunky like some rain boots. I actually thought I had been sent the wrong size because the foot part looked so small when I took them out of the box - but I wasn’t. These just make your feet look cute and small. I haven’t worn them in the rain yet, but so far, I like them! They will be a great replacement for my precious boots (of another brand) that fell apart.

This boot is great if you legs are slightly shorter. Hunter boots are just a little too tall for me and these hit about an inch lower from the knee when compared. There are two reasons why I am returning these boots... 1) They were bigger than I expected and 2) after I wore these boots for about 2-3 hours, walking around, my white socks turned completely blue! My ankles were the boot did, too. It took about 2 days to wear off my skin and the socks are ruined. If the coloring didn't wear off, I would have kept them.
