I have purchased many different pairs of Asics over the last five years since I started walking daily. Asics are almost always super comfy and these may be the most comfortable I've tried so far. These are lighter than the Gel Excite 3's and 4's that I have, very grateful for that. I have size 11 feet and the shoes can get weighty. These are nice and light. The tongue could be a bit longer, but it is ok. I love Asics so much and always recommend them!

I usually don’t wear the lower end ASICS, I’ve been a Kayano fan until they screwed up the toe box. I have the most average “normal” foot I can think of. No bunions, hammer toes, average arch, thinner heel, average forefoot. I did some hosiery modeling in my younger years. You get the picture. I’ve been buying and trying different footwear options lately...a lot. haha. I’m not a runner, and if I was, these wouldn’t be my choice. I want comfort. Toes not hitting the front, or smashed together, secure heel and foot. I’m like the princess and the pea/Goldilocks when it comes to footwear. Sadly I just returned Kayano 25, as toe box had the width, but not the depth. Great cushion and support tho. On the hunt for my ‘perfect’ shoe, I bought the Excite 6 on a whim, along with Brooks Glycerin, Adrenaline gts, and Ghost. Excite 6 I bought in wide, the Asics toe box problem, you know. Half size up, in the Violet Blush/Dive Blue. To my surprise, I like this shoe! Toe box fits like the Brooks Medium width, the arch support isn’t great, but I put my Kayano insoles in, and it’s fine for me. The color is very cool, compliments on it. These aren’t for anything except comfort, walking, shopping, etc. But I do reach for them. Regarding the Brooks, I kept the Ghost in Medium, half size up. Extremely comfortable and perfect for my spoiled rotten feet..lol. Glycerin I didn’t care for. Felt too cushy/sloppy and not visually appealing. The Adrenaline gts is awesome. Half size up, medium, good arch, stable shoe, toe box, everything. If I was a runner, the Brooks and Kayano would be my choice, if the shoe fits. Back to the Excite 6...Happily surprised with this little everyday shoe, especially for the price. Again, the Violet/Blush is very fun and attractive. I hope this review helps someone.

Is this a joke?! I feel like I’ve been shipped some fake off from China! These are the cheapest material, the insoles were almost completely OUT the shoes and unattached, the material is flemsy, and I can literally see through the show the material is so thin!!! This isn’t lightweight, this is cheap!!! I’m furious! I paid half this price for Skechers and the material is superb! I demand a refund.

Fits like a glove. Though I prefer higher arch support, this show has lots of cushion. My heel feels very secure and the width is perfect. I have a normal-to-wide width foot and this feel great. I prefer the style of the flux and exult better, but these are cute enough (and comfort matters more), so these will do just great.

Ordered three pairs after walking miles in the first pair Excite 6 is my choice for comfort and long walking. I’ve tried other ASICS and nothing compares to this style.

I'm all about comfort. These shoes are great. I have wide feet with a toe injury where I need my toe not to be pressed on. I ordered a wide and there are no pressure points anywhere. Nice wide heel pad feels secure when walking. Great price for comfortable shoes.

Nice shoe for the treadmill. Always seem to go back to Asics. Need to remember that!

I add arch support ,but these are great. Nice wide toe box. True to size!

I typically wear a 6.5 to 7 in dress shoes, but b/c so many reviews said these run small, I got the 7.5 - they fit great, with just a little room at the toes. I do have a wider than average toe area and narrow heel, but did not have to order the W width. The B width actually fits me perfectly (if you have very narrow feet, definitely order the Narrow width if possible). As far as comfort, they have lots of padding in the in-sole, with extra springy padding in the front, which gives a nice springy feel if you're jogging/running. As far as looks go, these are probably The Cutest running shoes I've ever gotten, especially for under $100! The peach-pink color is adorable, and looks great with anything from camouflage leggings and a black tank top to pastel t-shirt and shorts. Great shoes for walking, if you're on your feet all day. I would definitely recommend these for travel/tourism, the gym or the hike & bike trail. Nice versatile running shoe, and you really can't beat the price. I was AMAZED to get these for under $70! My new favorite running shoe!

These are the most comfortable ASICS I have had in a long time. I wear only ASICS. These have great arch support and plenty toe box room. Have already ordered another pair before they are sold out.

I love ASICS and have worn them for many years. I appreciate the wide width option. This pair looks great and feels good on my feet though I’ve yet to wear them for exercise. The size nine actually fits perfectly, but that was after ordering an 8.5, my normal ASICS size, which was too short. All of my life I’ve been a size 8, but have worn an ASICS 8.5. The older I get, the bigger my feet seem to be getting and I’m slowly learning to accept that I’m now a standard 8.5 and need a 9 ASICS! Love these shoes.

Bought these because they're for feet with supination (ankle and foot roll outward) and they are working nicely for a light weight shoe! The support or sole stiffness is pretty good, not as stiff as the older style rubber soles, but much firmer than foam soles. The shoe certainly stabilizes the outer foot giving the lift and push back the foot needs to prevent the roll, heavy strike on the front outer bones, and over stretching or the arch. It helps in lifting the foot out of the roll and strike to have the firm upward toe curve as well. There's even a slightly wider than normal toe bed so the toes can splay a bit (regular width shoe). These are only maybe 1/3 size smaller - not extreme at all, but noticeable.

I have wide feet that have had surgeries so getting any shoe to not hurt while on treadmill, difficult. These were great out of the box. PS I will never buy NIKES. I love these other companies, affordable and NOT political! Saucony getting too expensive too. I like Brooks, but can't find the shoe I bought years ago. Wish these came in brighter colors!

These shoes are great! I haven't had a decent pair of shoes in a long time, and I'm so glad I chose these ASICS Gel-Excite 6 to change that. The support is fantastic, and they really help with my supination issues. I am actually comfortable walking around again for the first time in forever. I love these shoes so much I intend to buy another pair as soon as possible. The grey and coral color combo is great too. Highly recommend these shoes.

Just walked three miles in these and my feet feel just fine. Great shoe and WHITE with bright touches.

Size was perfect Overall very happy with the purchase I'd like to come back in three months time and update the review I walk every Day 5 to 6 miles I'd like to see how they hold out but so far very happy with the shoes thank you

Love. This. Shoe! My fave was the ASICS FuzeLyte. When it was time to reorder, I grabbed the FuzeLyte2... not the same. The original had a cloud-like feeling to the insole. The FuzeLyte2 had no cushioning. I ordered the GEL-Excite6 and OMG, I am happy! Great everyday shoe. Excellent cushioning. I would like a little more arch support, but that is my only complaint. Will definitely order again. ? Oh, and THANK YOU ZAPPOS!!! My love affair with you is far reaching. ???

My podiatrist recommended Asics after I tore ligaments in both feet. I tried multiple pairs but eventually settled on the Gel-Excite for the amount of cushion they offered. The Asics brand does seem to run narrow in the toe box, but the wide width gave me plenty of room without being too large in the heel. The style is basic which suits me just fine.

These are the best style ASICS so far. The fit is perfect! Very comfortable and stylish.

I love these shoes. I ordered them for exercise classes but decided to wear them today to go shopping. I have had them on for 12 hours and my feet and legs are not tired or aching. Nice arch support and cushion. They run a little small. I ordered 1/2 size larger since I will be wearing socks with them. I usually buy new balance shoes but I am so glad I gave these a try.

I picked out 3 different ASICS to try. This was my winner! I bought everything in my normal size and width. The Upcourt was actually more comfortable except that the back went too high. I have tendinitis in one foot and needed a new pair of shoes that would help the most with the heel pain and this one was the best overall.

I love this shoe! Asics fit my feet beautifully and seem to be made for me. The colors are vibrant and as pictured.
