I usually wear Asics for running and walking and decided to purchase these court shoes for pickleball since I've had good luck with previous Asic shoes. I have a narrow foot and these fit perfect with God room in the toe box. I tend to order my athletic shoes 1/2 size longer than casual shoes which I did and they are exactly what I needed. I love the gel in the heel and forefoot for cushioning. They feel very stable for court sports. Good choice!

Zappos recommended a full size up. Way too big. I returned them & went back to my regular size. Which felt small. So I went with 1/2 size up. While it feels a little long in the toe box, the rest of the shoe feels better. I think these run narrow either on the sides, or from top to bottom, so they just feel small. That said, now that I have the right size, I like them alot. I got these bc I have Peroneal Tendonitis, and couldn't handle other sneakers w/zero lateral support. These make sure my foot doesn't roll out. Very pretty color too. I've never worn a tennis shoe like this before, but so far, I really like it.

Just took up playing pickle ball. I’ve been looking for a good court shoe, because my ankles need support. I tried several pairs, courtesy of Zappos, and this fits the bill perfectly. Good arch support, good ankle support, and plenty of cushion.

The material was hard and unforgiving. The toe box was narrow. I wish shoe companies would go back to making leather athletic shoes

My foot = size 8, low volume. I ordered a 9 and 9.5 in this shoe and am keeping the 9. I have an older Asics that need replacing ASAP, as I have a match day after tomorrow. Overall, they were the most comfortable out of the box, as compared to another Asics and a NB. Hoping they relax more and I can enjoy wearing them. I do wish Asics would make some shoes that are in between day-go colors and white. Maybe a nice gray? charcoal? with accent colors?

I usually wear a size 9 but bought a 9 1/2. This shoe has great support and while playing pickle ball it’s gives good support. I have bunions on both feet and my feet do not hurt.

Love the color but if you are even close to wearing a wide in a shoe, do not attempt this.

I have several pairs of Asics tennis shoes and like them a lot. This pair immediately made the top of my foot hurt.. tingle? I had to return. :(

This is my second pair of Gel Challenger court shoes. I will never buy anything else. True to size and width. I play sometimes five or six hours a day. My feet feel like they are floating. These are five star shoes. I Highly recommend them ! Great job on the shoes and kudos to your customer service .

I wear a size 7- 7 1 /2 in regular shoes. In athletic shoes, with socks, I wear a size 8. Gel-Challenger 12 I have a narrow foot and this shoe is a perfect court shoe, that fits my needs when playing Pickleball!

I love the look and the style and the feel of this shoe. Unfortunately, it felt tight and my foot hurt just trying them on and relaxing. I am returning for a wider shoe and hoping that it fits. I really want these shoes.

These are great shoes for me! I usually wear narrow shoes in all types of shoes. After reading the reviews I decided to try these as others said they felt narrower than medium. I agree...they are narrower than other medium shoes that I've tried on. I needed a pair of shoes for pickleball and have never owned "court shoes". They are "boxy" and I'm having a difficult time getting used to them and wearing them in only due to the fact that they are not running or walking shoes. They fit the way they're supposed to fit. I can tie them so they truly become narrow shoes. They're great and at a great price! I've tried on narrow pickleball shoes in a specialty shop where we live and they weren't as nice as these and they were $25 dollars more expensive! Thanks, Zappos!

I have capsulitis and therefore needed a stiff tennis shoe. This is indeed that and so it's harder pushing off but in the long run it's healthier for my foot. I use inserts in it and that gives me the arch support I need. I don't believe this has much without an insert. Also...I have narrow feet and this is great for me!

Very comfortable! I definitely recommend using blister prevention tape for the first few uses. They were very easy to break in, only took a few days. And shipping was quick!

These were really WHITE. I'm afraid they wouldn't have stayed so clean looking after a few walks, I returned them.

I really wanted to like these shoes. However, the toe box was too tight across the wider part of my foot and no amount of loosening the laces helped. I usually wear a medium width. Loved the color!

These are the worst shoes I have ever purchased. I loved Asics until this pair was bought online. They are very hard & zero bend or cushion. They feel like the old converse shoes from the 70's. The workmanship is horrible the right shoe is deformed on the top of the shoe. The shoes run small & narrow with little to no give and they are hard plastic. Not going to send them back due to shipping hassle. I did buy another style & if they are as these I will never buy Asics again. What a huge disappointment this brand has become. Not sure if it's because they are made in a communist country but the quality is no longer important to ASICS.

I have been wearing Challenger 12 for many years and they are the best! Support my ankle, sturdy and out of the box comfortable. PLEASE do not discontinue the 12! My friends all agree on the Challenger 12. The stores are telling us they are discontinued and the Resolution is the shoe to buy. Challenger is a better made shoe. I am so happy to find White Challenger 12 today in a size 9. PLEASE DO NO DISCONTINUE this great shoe.

This is a great shoe! It's sturdy and comfortable. I wear it to play pickle ball on outdoor courts. I love the colors too; the shoes look so much better than the bland pastels of many women's shoes.

The gel technology in these Gel Challenger 12 shoes help cushion the impact on my two knee replacements. Please keep making this model! And they are comfortable.
