I purchased these shoes to wear to fit with my workplace's office casual compliant dress code. As part of the employee appearance requirements, we must wear closed toe shoes. I wanted something that allowed my feet to breathe, while still adhering to guidelines for presentability. These shoes really allow the feet to breathe, and are very airy. Even during driving, with the vent directed toward the toes, you can catch a breeze, so to speak. Perfect for hot and humid times. Weight-wise, these shoes are as light as a high quality running shoe, and are generally easy to walk in. Comfort-wise, these are not as supportive in the heel as I'd like. The heels can feel a bit low and hard at times; still quite comfortable, but not as supportive or shock-absorbing as running shoes. I have narrow feet, and these shoes are narrow to the extreme. They hug the sides of my feet tenaciously. This isn't a problem for my comfort, but if you have wide feet, please keep this in mind.

I'm a 12 and normally wear a 46 in Ecco's. These run a size larger and had to return the 46's for 45's. They are very light and comfortable.

I had to hunt to find this ECCO type to replace a favorite pair of great travel shoes as the are light, cool and comfortable for both travel and everyday wear. Just don’t leave home without them!

Most comfortable shoe, out of the box, I have ever worn! Cannot think of any negatives. Time will tell how they perform over the next year or so. Highly recommended!

Even with a size smaller than I usually get, I still have a lot of extra room at the heel. Get a size (or two) smaller than usual.

These are great shoes. But, they apparently run a bit narrower than my husband's MANY other ECCO's in the exact same size. He thinks maybe the laces are too tight. Unfortunately, I have to return them and find another, wider pair. But, all the same, we both love the look, style and quality and ECCO is a fantastic, top notch brand.

A few items - color a bit off - photo shows a much darker brown rather than the lighter color the shoe actually is. Broke in nicely - have to wear for a few days. I would say based on other Ecco shoes I have this one appears narrower and longer than the usual 8.5 size I wear. This seems to be a problem with Ecco - toe box seems to be shrinking a bit. One big complaint - the cheap toggle on the elastic laces is a real bitch to press down - whoever thought of this cheap fix should be ....... Really hard to adjust unless you have super strength. Ecco please replace this gizmo ASAP. The old plastic or metal ones worked much better. We will see how these wear under office and street and trail conditions.

I have classic 11D feet and they fit fine. Being a 210 pound guy these give me the walking comfort I need at my 70 years. Comfy after my 4 mile morning stroll .

I bought these shoes in my regular size but they were way too big, so I exchanged them for these, one size smaller, and they fit much better. Thank you Zappos for easy exchange.

I had 2 previous ECCO sneakers that I loved and wore until I couldn't any more. Since the old ECCO's were my most comfortable and long wearing sneakers I ever had, I looked at the new styles. My old ECCO's were a size 46 (12-12.5). I ordeed the same size, but unfortunately, they were about an inch too big. I am returning them. I ordered re-ordered the size 45 (US 11). The length was fine, but the width in my right foot was too tight. Left foot fine. Not sure if it is the shoe size or my foot which is different. There was a hot spot near my little toe. It only became noticeable after walking for several hours outside the house. I did were them initially inside my house so I could return if necessary. Had no problems until worn for the day outside. I used a shoe stretcher on the right shoe, slowing opening it to maximum over a 2 day period. Then I let it sit for several more days with the stretcher in the right shoe. This seemed to work, hot spot does not seem to be a problem, after wearing them for 2 days. I do love the design of this sneaker, and generally, they are very comfortable. I think they could have been a bit wider.

I have three pairs of Eccos that are all the same size, standard width, and that fit very well. This style, however, feels narrow. Nice shoes and well constructed.

The shoes were a little tight in the at the toes but a little loose at the heel. I am mostly concerned that they will not hold up to my normal everyday routine. The fabric seems thin, much thinner than my Merrell's.

Both shoes became to unravel from defective design/stiching support after only 6 months. I only where for office shoes and trecks to town. Very disapointed because I held ECCO at a high standard after owning other ECCO varieties. I feel cheated, Bought these in April and they started coming apart August. I rotate shoes too, so I actually only wore them 30% of the time, meaning I only got 2 months out of them.
