I’m a pain in the rear when it comes to shoes and Zappos can vouch for this with the number of returns I’ve had. This pair hit the mark. For some reason the Eccos that are made in Slovakia are a home run for me and these are. The sole is great as it molds to your foot. Styling isn’t the best but after spending 10 hours on my feet at a trade show yesterday and not having any pain at the end of the day I’d trade that for style any day!!! Gonna give the other Vitrus styles a try as well.

My husband has wide feet. These were too narrow and had to be returned. The ECCO Lisbon Plain Toe Tie was much better for him.

I have worn ECCO shoes for about 20 years.Size 42 was always a perfect fit---but no longer. Two tries in a row had to be returned--Too big

Really narrow and has a small toe box. I have to return these.

They look very nice with a suit or business casual attire. I buy Ecco's almost exclusively and these seem a bit too long as a 9.5 but since the next size down is too much they will be ok. Fit perfect in width. Comfortable

Extremely comfortable and versatile shoe!

I have suffered a variety of foot and back problems for years until about a year ago a pedorthist convinced me the shoes I had been fitted with by shoe sales people were too short and too narrow and insisted I go with a larger and much wider size. Finding a shoe the proper length is not a problem but finding a show of the proper width (3E to 4E) has been more challenging. I was shopping for a pair of dress shoes to go with a new suit my wife gave me for my birthday and unhappy with what I was finding in the proper length and width. Because I have been an Ecco fan for several years I decided to check out their offerings. All I could find either at Ecco or Zappos Ecco were Medium width. Finally I decided to take a chance and ordered these shoes a size larger than the pedorthist's recommendation and they fit perfectly. They were really comfortable right out of the box and my wife is pleased with how well they look with my new suit. I don't like thick athletic shoe-like soles in a dress shoe and I like hard sole shoes even less. These have a "dressy" looking sole with good grip and the Vitrus footbed provides a comfortable but not overly soft or springy feel. The kind of footbed that allows me to be on my feet all day without my feet, knees, hips, or back getting sore or overly tired. The shoes are the quality poduct I have come to expect from Ecco after wearing out several pairs of Ecco Sport and Ecco Bioms. My only complaint about Eccos in the past was fit related and now that the pedorthist has me in the correct shoe size, that is a thing of the past.

I'm usually a size 10 with Ecco, but these run large (as others have pointed out). The size 10 was too large (the heel slipped) and the 9 was too small. I wish they can in 1/2 sizes. They are nice looking shoes, and I wish they had worked out.
