Not only did my middle school son not suffer a single sore on these spikes, but he broke record after record in his track events this past season.

I'm a 73 year old Sprinter, and this is my second pair of Spitfire 5 spikes in two years. Bought these as a backup pair, as I train daily in my first pair. Silly me, I thought both pairs were a tight fit between the toe box and arch. Finely realized they came from the factory with the laces starting out pulled tight. They now fit perfect. I race everything from 50 meters to 400 meters.

Size (length) was perfect. Were a little tight across the wide part of the foot, but stretched a bit for a great fit. I'm a 72yo Masters Sprinter, and am enjoying the feel and fit. I'd say, worth the money.

Immediately, when I put them on, I felt like I could break the senior Masters world record in the 100m.

Great shoes, they fit true to size, and are made well. My only complaint was that the spikes were just thrown in the box, and they box had two holes which the spikes fell out of into the shipping bag. The spikes poked holes in the bag during shipping so I was missing a spike.

I run the 800 and 1000 meter and the spikes worked out amazing. They kept my foot in place along with providing enough comfort to keep from my feet hurting after the race. I know that they are sprinting spikes but I have run the mile before in them with no problems or issues. My only complaint is that the plastic dose wear down so I would recommend only wearing them for meets. Over all a great shoe.

This is my second pair of Saucony spikes. The last pair fits perfectly (ordered my usual size for spikes), but the Spitfire 5 is slightly tight (same size as the last pair). Hope they'll stretch a bit and will be ok after some usage. I have yet to test them for performance, comfort, etc. I'm a 100m and 200m sprinter.
