I LOVE these boots. I LOVE the color, heel height - literally everything EXCEPT the shaft is way to wide on my calves. I have at least a 1.5 inch gap around the top of my leg which makes me look like I am playing dress up in my mom's shoes. Wish Sam Edelman (and more boot designers) offered a narrow calf option. My 13.5 inch calves swim in most knee high boots. :(

I normally wear a Women's size 10, but I ordered a 10.5 in this boot just in case I wear a thin sock with my boots. However, even though I went up a half a size, the boot was still very snug and too short, so regrettably I had to return them. This boot runs a size or more small...at least it did on me!

I think these are my favorite shoes of all time. The color is natural so I just end up looking like my legs are two inches longer. A great feeling for someone petite. I am also impressed because the calves fit so well. I have average calves and I hate it when boots are too wide. I am definitely ordering these in another color. The heel is just the right height, so I imagine I will be able to wear these to work with no discomfort. Sam Edelman is a great brand for boots.

If you have a wide foot go 1 size bigger. If not, go a half size bigger. I had to exchange for a bigger size because I didn’t read reviews. They are easier to get on with jeans when they are slightly bigger as well, however I have larger calves. These are super cute though and comfortable to walk in. I thought the zipper not going all the way up would be an issue but it really isn’t. You can still pull the jeans/ pants down after putting your foot in if you need to then zip up.

Absolutely love these boots! They’re perfect in height and calf width! Super comfortable and stylish! So glad i found these!

Bought these for my wife. She was replacing a previous pair that had worn out over the years. If you take care of them, they will last for years!

I was worried these would run small based on the reviews. I am a size 8 and the size 8 fit perfectly! I’m 5’3”, and I do wish they were a litttle bit shorter around my knees, but overall they’re awesome boots. Very on trend, and very comfortable.

LOVE THEM. I normally wear a 7.5 W and the foot was way too narrow...I ordered an 8 and that seemed to take care of the problem. It's a little long in the foot but otherwise extremely comfy....I love them. I just wish Zappos would keep more W sizes in stock....my little duck feet would certainly appreciate that...

These boots are beautiful. Perfect for professional office wear or casual evening to dress up jeans, slacks or a skirt. They are comfortable for walking (not like sneakers, but not like some boots I've worn), even after a long day of commuting. The heel is wide, giving lots of support and style. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous boots! I bought these and the Naturalizer "Harlowe" at the same time to see which I would like better. They are virtually identical -- gorgeous soft suede all the way around, perfect mid-heel height, quality craftsmanship, and very comfortable. I went with the Sam Edelman Hai over the Naturalizer Harlowe because I liked the seeming and the sole slightly better on the Hai.... although I do really love the buckle detail on the Harlowe, which the Hai does not have! It was a very hard choice; both are gorgeous!

I typically wear size 9 and these boots seemed true to size. I just did not like the style - the toe was a bit more pointed than I thought it would be from the picture, which is fine, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I also did not like how much the boot slouched in the ankle area. Seems to be a well made boot, just not for me.

I looked all last year for the perfect black suede boot....nothing! Found these...they looked great online and had great reviews...so I tried them. They are perfect and are so beautiful on. The fit is true to size and they are comfortable. Sam Edelman makes great quality products - highly recommend.

These are insanely comfortable and stylish. You can dress them up or casual with jeans. Great price point too!

I am normally an 8.5 but based on the reviews I was concerned my normal size would be too tight. I ordered both an 8.5 and a 9 and the 8.5 fit me perfectly. These are beautiful boots!

These boots are beautiful, soft and so comfortable! I've only worn them one day and already had several compliments! I got the caramel suede.

Love these boots but I had to return I have a normal size calf and they were a bit baggy at the top I think if you were wider calf it would be better fit

These are beautiful boots, but they are not at all comfortable. I don't have big calves but because I'm petite (5' 1"), the way the boots hit my calves, I realized that I could never wear the boots with jeans because they would not fit inside the boots. They would look great with a dress or with thin tights but definitely not with jeans tucked in. I would have kept the boots, were they more comfortable. The arch support is minimal and the padding is also minimal. I think my feet would have started to hurt pretty quickly. Also, because I'm short, my calves are not long so the boots had more of a slouchy look to them (which I did not mind).

Beautiful boots. I purchased the snakeskin as well as the nude. the snakeskin is a bit brighter in person than photographed and quite stiff. the nude were soft. both styles ran small and narrow. I will be exchanging

The calf was just too small. Could not get them over the widest part of my calves. So disappointing because they are beautiful boots and if they had a wide calf option I would scoop them up in a second!

these boots are very hard to get on and off. they run at least a full size small and very difficult to get over my calves even though my calves are not big at all but just normal muscular athletic calves. not worth it. very disappointed as i was looking very forward to these.
