I purchased the Sam Edelman Winona in red. Somehow, I got this notion in my head that I needed a red pair of booties to add to my collection of boots and booties. But, not just any pair of red booties. They had to be RED!!! Well these are RED! If you notice, there is no zipper on this boot. I have a higher instep and usually wrestle to get a boot on that does not have a zipper. Amazingly, my foot slipped into the bootie with not much effort because there are several leather covered goring panels on both sides of the shaft of the boot that stretch out and back at least an 1". Also, the bootie looks really narrow and again, though, it will never fit my wide(r) foot. I am usually a full size 9. That is what I ordered and they fit me perfect. The heel height is not too high, nor too low. The foot bed is rather comfortable, but so far I have only walked around my office in them. I live in the south so I usually wear my boots with a thin footie or sometimes barefoot. If you need to wear a heavy sock with your boots, you may need to factor that in when you order your pair.....

I’m a true size 8 and the 8 fit fantastic! These boots are sooooooooo red! Literally in love! The pics don’t do them justice. Must have red boot! So cute and stylish! Let me know if you want to see them on and I will add another video!

I decided not to keep these, but I still gave them 5 stars. Here's why.....The style is on trend with the pointed toe and the stitching adds a nice detail. The suede is very nice and you can tell these are of good quality. I ordered the taupe color, which is a beautiful grayish beige. The heel is the perfect height for giving you some lift but super comfortable. I was actually surprised by how comfortable these were! I was worried the toe box would be too narrow but it's not -- your toes hit before the really pointy part starts. My normal size fit me with no crowding or rubbing against my toes. This is such a cute Western style boot but I didn't keep them because the toe was a little too long and pointy for me -- I almost felt like they looked like "elf" shoes on my feet. I actually went with another pair of less pointy-toed boots I also got from Zappos.

Fit was perfect. Leather is soft and supple. Tons of compliments wearing them!

Fit is true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 but I always size boys up to 9 and add a cushioning liner for warmth and support. These worked perfectly!

I just bought these in golden caramel and I loved them. I got an 8 and they hugged my heel nicely, plenty of room in the toe box, but did not feel like they were slipping at all; I really loved the way they looked with both black and denim pants. In the end I thought they looked a little more casual than I wanted and I have a few pairs of cowboy boots already. I opted for a slightly more formal bootie. But if I need a pair with a western flair, I will buy these in a heartbeat!!

I have had so many compliments! Not to pointed and perfect heel for going out or dressing down. Zappos always delivers in amazing time

I may have kept these if it weren't for the stitching on the goring. What they used felt like fishing line and rubs your ankles terribly-- really Sam Edelman these are $150 boots !! Beautiful but unwearable for me.

Great boot. Put them on right away and wore them out. Easy to dress up or down. Really very comfortable from the get go. I’m sure it will only get better. I can’t wear super high heels anymore and this height is perfect. Wore them all day today (second time to wear) and I had no issues at all.

I love Sam Edelman shoes and was really looking forward to these, but they arrived with scuff marks on the leather due to rubbing next to the cardboard insert. The paper of the insert was stained by coloring of the leather. The boots were a bit stiff as well. Overall, just did not seem to be the quality/value for the pricing of these boot, so unfortunately had to return :(

I got these in red, Cayanne Pepper, I have in black also. Because I have high instep I need a half size up and they are sold out. I love them and are trying to find them elsewhere. Although I am loyal to Zappos, I want these!

I absolutely adore these boots in Deep Red Nubuck. They are true cherry red like in the picture and make me look like a BOSS. I also like that they don't have any buckles or zippers because they're easy to slip on and I think that design choice will make them last longer. The stitching has a subtle western-wear look that isn't over the top. I love pairing my red boots with blue or black jeans. And finally, they don't pinch my toes at all.

I sized up in another Sam Edelman style but didn't in these ones. My usual size was perfect. I was worried as the toe is quite narrow but these boots fit and are gorgeous. I can not wait to wear them!

I LOVE these boots. I wore them to work today and got so many compliments. They are very comfortable but I do have narrow feet, so if you have a wide foot you may need to size up.

These are absolutely beautiful boots, but for me, I think the height of the heel, and the more narrow toe box just didn't fit my foot comfortably. I wanted them to be comfortable! I adore these boots. But would not be able to wear them much without discomfort.

Beautiful boot... toes uncomfortable, sole hard, ankle edge of boot sharp and rough, not easy to walk in. Just terrible to wear as nice as they looked off the foot.

At first these shoes felt too narrow at the toe, but after I broke them in they felt great! They are such cute boots that go with any outfit. I got them in white and love how they look. The heel is a perfect height as well. Would buy again!

These booties are SIMPLE SEXY!! Not too high. Not to low of a heel. Just enough to give an elongated look to the legs. Very comfortable. Unfortunately they rub against my ankles when I don’t have socks on but once I remedied that it was all good!!

SO CUTE! I have wanted a pair of white booties & these were a great choice - they’ve got flair! They do rub my pinkie toe a little, but other than that, comfortable.

These booties are super cute and so comfortable. Wore them in Reno for a country concert and night out the first time I wore them and they were comfortable all night. The suede is beautiful! And, the height is perfect, even if you are on the taller side. I am 5'9" and I tend to opt for a lower heel. These were just high enough to look dressier than a lower heel.

This bootie is gorgeous. I received so many compliments from men and women. I love Zappos.com, because they have the best customer service and all the shoes you are looking for.

LOVE these shoes... sized up for more space and ability to wear thin sock. I wore for three hours and they were super comfortable and stylish. They hit ankle at flattering level and look so cute with skirt or denim....love love love these

Wow! The MOST comfortable booties and great looking. I would usually order a half size up with a narrow toe. However, based on previous reviews I ordered my regular 7-1/2 size. Did not disappoint. SO comfortable. And of course Zappos amazing speedy service cannot be beat!
