Wonderful jacket! I ordered two of these, one foe each of my daughters in college. Now I want one for myself, this is hands down the softest material I’ve ever felt in a jacket. Although it’s faux suede/Sherpa, you wouldn’t know to look at it, except up close you’ll see a slight sheen to the suede. For this price you wont find any material that looks and feels like authentic Sherpa. The jacket has a soft, drape feel. It’s not structured and stiff as most suede jackets are. The attention to details adds to the feeling of quality. I recommend a size up if you’ll be wearing the jacket in the winter over layers or sweaters. You would not need to size up if you’ll be wearing it in transitional seasons with lighter tops underneath.

This jacket is wonderfully warm and super soft! I needed gifts for two of my daughters who are in college and this jacket was perfect. My girls are both sensitive to animal cruelty and will not wear leather. This material is faux suede/Sherpa, but has a quality look and feel that is very close to authentic suede/Sherpa. If you want an authentic look and feel at an affordable price, this jacket will fool the best of them. It has a classic and youthful style with more of a “drapey” feel than a structured feel. It does run a bit small, especially if you’ll want to wear it over sweaters or layered in colder weather. I recommend a size up unless you’ll be wearing it with light clothing underneath and want a tighter, fitted look and feel. The sleeves can be worn down to keep your hands warm, or turned up for a stylish cuffed Sherpa look. There’s quality in the details of the jacket, right down to the inside button plackets and stitched in fabric label. You will love this jacket!
