This is a up-date to my review above on "Dolce Vita Roya" mule! As I said above this mules was sharp looking but came with challenges as it is narrow in the toe box (I am a 9.5 aaa) and very wide at the heel area. I was totally swimming in the shoe in the heel area so my shoe person suggested an orthotic. Voila! This orthotic (expensive at $35) did the trick. It feels odd when I walk BUT I look so...darn good! This is such a good looking mule that I am glad that I was able to make it work! Thank You Zappos once again for sending me another quality shoe!

Such a cute shoe, but had to return it. Way, way, way too big for my "on the narrow side" size 6 foot. I have trouble finding shoes that fit. Narrow heel and wide toe. Sort of "duck-like." I should probably wear a 6-narrow, but they are pretty scarce. I can usually get by with a medium by wearing a thicker sock or an insole. This shoe would be all wrong with a sock [unless I planned to wear it with a long, flair/boot cut trouser which was not the case] and there is no insole ever created that would have made up the width difference. I can't really comment on the comfort or arch support, but the sizing is way off, for me at least, which is the reason for the 3 star rating. If you have a wide foot then don't hesitate to order this shoe.

After reading the reviews, then wearing these awesome shoes...some of the negative reviews were way off! I’m a true size 6! These were perfect! I wore them with a thin black cotton trouser sock (its winter), and I’ll wear them without any come spring & summer! Whomever said these have a fake “stacked” heel are incorrect as well. Love these and had lots of compliments the very first day I wore them!

So chic! The shoe is quite comfortable because of the shape of the instep, and I was worried about sizing because I'm usually a 9 and there were only 8.5s left. I'm glad I got the 8.5 - it's not tight at all. I've already gotten compliments!

This shoe is exactly what i was looking for! Comfortable heel height, dark sole and heel, beautiful classic lines. Well-made and comfy too ~ as Mary Poppins would say, practically perfect in every way ~ except its not white, which is what i was looking for. I neglected to take note that the listing said off-white. Sadly returned ~ Would have kept this shoe just because it's so awesome but i rarely have the need to wear this off white shade. It really is a perfect shoe in my opinion, Dolce Vita, please make this exact shoe in bright white leather?!

I love these, I am really happy with the fit and think they super cute. I got the snake skin print. I have a narrow foot and the width is perfect, so someone with a wider foot might want to size up just a half size

So sad that they were too narrow for my wide foot. I often can get by without getting a W, but these were too narrow for me. Beautifully made and very nice otherwise.

I loved these shoes! I was worried they might be too stiff or hard to walk in based on the photos, but they were so comfortable! Only complaint is that the interior material left a stain on my nail from where my big toenail rubbed against the inside of the shoe. But the materials all feel high quality and durable.

Awesome and very stylish! Easy to walk in and not at all clunky or heavy. Look great with skinny jeans!

Theses are beautiful mules! I got the saddle color and the leather is soft and gorgeous. I bought theses for in between seasons and it's late November I'm dying to wear them!! They are very comfortable but can't speak to all day comfort. Love these!

I love these comfortable and very stylish mukes. I shopped around and these had the highest rating and the most reasonable price for the high quality. I’ve never shopped at Zappos but I will going forward. I know I’ll get many compliments on these shoes.,

I love these shoes but unfortunately they don't fit me. I ordered them first in a 9-1/2 (my regular size) but they were too long; then I ordered them in a 9 and they were too short so I'm returning them. Disappointed because they are super cute and seemed like they would be comfortable.

I'm very happy with these! They are understated and the pointed toe makes them more elegant than a dansko type mule/clog. The heel is not too high so I can wear them all day (and walk my 40 block commute) and I found they fit true to size and width. I am always Euro 41 US 9.5-10 and the 10 was the correct fit here. Fully agree with the reviewer who said it is a great transitional season shoe.

I bought these gorgeous mules in the snakeskin print, size 6.5 (I am somewhere in between a size 6.5 and 7, and the 6.5 fit perfectly). I've been wearing them on the daily! Heel height is perfect, style is so on trend and the snakeskin print really adds the perfect touch to my wardrobe. I've worn these for a good two weeks straight and the leather has softened up nicely. Break in period was only a day or two.

I love these! I have them in white. Very on trend - I always get compliments when I wear them. Personally, the width felt true to size for me, and I have a wider than average foot. The leather is nice quality. Cute with dresses and jeans!

The Dolce Vita Roya Mule is truly a very sharp looking shoe that I had eyed for a while. Unlike other reviewers I feel that this mule runs large and wide except for the toe area which is almost tight and I am truly a 9.5 aaa. The pointy toe explains the narrow aspect of the shoe but I am lost in the heel area. However I like the mule so..much that I went on a mission today to locate a thin sports 'footie" to see if that helped. It fits better now but I am still going to take it tomorrow to my "shoe person" to see what he thinks. Perhaps I could have an insert made to lessen the roominess in the heel area. Plus it is about 1/4 to 1/2 to long but I am concerned that the 9 will be too short and too tight in the toe area. Regardless this is a gorgeous mule and seems to fit most people with medium width feet.

This was my second choice. I didn’t want to spend over $300 to get the Frye ones so I got these instead. These do the trick. Stylish and comfortable, exactly what I wanted. I love a mule. My only complaint is that I wish the quality was little better. Not a fan of the fake stacked heel but you get what you pay for. They are a little on the loose end but it fits true to size otherwise.

Beautiful shoe, well made with high quality leather. I returned it because the upper part of the shoe (i think it's called the vamp) was much too loose leaving my foot unsupported from the ball of my foot to the top. As a result, the shoes slipped around when i walked and i was afraid i'd trip. I think the reason for the poor fit may be because the shoe was narrow. If my foot slid further down into the shoe, perhaps the vamp would have hugged the top of my foot holding it in place. I recommend these shoes for someone with a narrow foot, or perhaps, if the top of their foot is higher.

I bought these cute shoes in 8.5 M. They were too small. Toe-box was tight and I struggled to get them on. Zappos promptly sent me another pair, now size 9. When i put them on the toe box was the same tight fit but now the top leather sleeve was stretched our to be too large. Basically the shoe was the same size at the 8.5. S0 disappointing as I think these shoes are so cute. Now returning the size 9 and will not buy Dolce Vita shoes in the future..
