I've been looking for a pair of slip-on-and-go shoes that are a stylistic step above my running shoes. I ordered these on a whim. For fit/foot comparison's sake: I am a true 8.5, medium width but for a small tailor's bunion developing on the small toe side of each foot, very high arches, high instep. I tend towards over pronation and walk with a first metatarsal drop (meaning I strike the ground with the big toe side of my foot first, especially when running) for which I have compensatory orthotics. In a word, these shoes are AWESOME! True to size, the 8.5 fit well in both length and width. The leather is supple so they can accommodate the little tailor's bunions I have (yay!). The footbed and interior are lined in a very soft leather. They have a subtle heel to toe drop, which feels great on my achilles tendon. Best of all, notice the little slit in the top of the shoe? How heavenly to finally find a slip on shoe that works great with my ridiculously high instep! No pressure on the nerve running down the top of the foot (something I often experience in slip on shoes)! Plus, they are stylish while retaining function (a high end looking athleisure shoe). The cons: 1. I did add a pair of arch cookies to give my high arches some support. I would have preferred to have been able to remove the footbed so that I could use my own orthotics. We'll see if I can get away without them. 2. The back of the shoe comes up a tad high, hitting the top of the back of my heel. That's going to take some breaking in, so I will wear a little moleskin at the beginning (just in case). Zappos, thank you for making it possible for me to try on a thousand pairs of shoes in order to find the best ones for my feet. If you have feet like mine, trust that you can feel comfortable ordering these. They feel GREAT!

The shoe fits true to size, and is very comfortable right out of the box! Meant to be worn without socks, and I never got any blisters from day one, they don't really require any breaking in. More fashionable than your average sneakers and great for running errands, etc...

Fits great! I was skeptical but wow, these are the most comfortable shoes I own now, and I have way too many shoes! They’ve quickly become my go-to shoe for nearly everything.

This pretty shoe has great arch and footbed support, which I need for mild plantar fasciitis. It was a little roomy in size 9. It's really pretty, but I wound up returning it in favor of an oxford from Clarks. Just personal preference (and saving $70).

Super comfortable walking shoes.

This is a beautiful shoe. I’m really torn about returning them. I’d like them WAY better if the bottom part was also black. And they are a shade too wide in the heel - which is very unusual for me. They are just too expensive for me to not find then pretty close to perfect. Sigh. They are really nice.
