First off the sizing : I usually wear sizes 10.5 or 11 (I have another pair of DC's in 11, got this one in 10.5). It is a little tighter than size 10.5 (obviously) but still totally wearable, comfortable and didn't warrant me sending them back. So contrarily to what the other review says, they are not as tight or half a size smaller, their pretty much your regular sized DC's as far as I'm concerned. Reading the above review I feared I'd have to send them back but fortunately, that wasn't the case. I will add that I never lace my skate shoes so that comes into play with the supposed "tightness"...if, as most people do, you aren't going to use the shoes laces, then they are as comfortable as any other DC. Design wise, they're not for everyone...I personaly feel they look awesome but a couple of my friends didn't really like them and i can see why, they are a little conspicuous and a little more "flamboyant" compared to a more unflashy pair like the Net (which I also own). Still, I think they look really cool and their originality (hence the O in OG...geddit?) is definitely a selling point, they just don't look like regular DC's. And honestly appart from the bright orange touches (wich I really like, I think bright orange+black+grey+white is a great color combo), they are not that conspicuous. The darkest part of the shoe (near the sole) is black and not dark grey as most of the photos seem to show...all the white parts are situated on top of the foot, so a they are a little harder to stain. All the parts that will come into contact with stuff are dark and reinforced, overall it feels like a very tough shoe (tough rubber material protect all the parts that usually hit into stuff such as the toe tips). The other parts alternate "meshy" leather-like fabric with plain fabric, creating a cool layered gradient effect (goes from black to white in 4 steps). Another really cool looking detail. They also include a good deal of interesting features, such as the straps holding the tongues centered (I have slightly "deformed" feet and my shoe's tongues always tend to slip to the outer side, problem solved!), the backstraps are really handy to put them on, the double meshed holes on the interior helps respirability and maintaning dryness, and the "arched" sole doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. The only thing I found kinda weird is the height of the sole...looks a teeny bit too thick. Wich is weird, because if you compare them to Nets, they're about the same thickness. Whatevs, really a minor complaint. To sum it up these are really good looking and tough shoes, all the comfort and quality you came to expect from DC, just a little "flashier" then other more subtle DC models. I'm writing this in winter and bought them for the summer time, so I didn't get the chance to wear them appart for testing purposes. But I can imagine that with blue jean baggy (or regular) shorts and a white tshirt, these will look absolutely awesome. Special "style points" if you have clothes with slight hints of orange, you absolutely have to wear them with those. My guess is they'll look terrific with any white, grey or black clothes...the orange hints also really go well with blue (blue + orange = killer color combo). And added-added-added bonus (so many added bonuses!!) I got these on sale for like half the price, delivery fees included. Absolutely worthwhile for around $70, a definite must buy if you like unconventional looking and solid, tough skate shoes. Love these! I was kinda hesitant at first (mostely because of their unconventional looks), but now I'lm absolutely convinced. Go for it.

I’ve been buying DC for over 10 years. One thing I enjoy is there consistency in size. These came in a little small. I’m sending them back and going a half a size larger.
