Just carried this bag for the fist time today. I was looking for a backpack that I could wear over the shoulder like a hobo style or on the back, without having to switch straps back and forth. This bag meets that criteria. The leather is soft but not overly soft, the bag stands on its own. I’m sure it will soften over time. The shoulder strap can be shortened to carry over the crook of the arm. This also give it a secure feature of not being able to open the bag while it is on your back. The side zip is not a pocket, it provides access to the interior of the bag which is useful when you have the shoulder strap shortened. It would be nice if there were an outside pocket but I can live without it. As a backpack this bag is very comfortable. It has a larger size zip pocket and two slip pockets inside. I added an organizer insert to keep my items organized. I think this bag would be great in a slightly smaller size as well. It is quite roomy.

I am a huge All Saints fan and have the large Kita Backpack in Black, as well as the Cooper Backback and have loved them both. I picked up the smaller version in Storm Grey after waiting for it to go on sale and it's another keeper. It's large enough for notebook or a file folder, and my Mac Airbook can just tuck inside. One of my favorite things to do with the Kita line is to get accessories like the Fetch wristlet or cross body and tuck them in side so that when I'm at work - I leave the backpack at my desk but can head out to lunch or on errands with the wallet or clutch. The larger version is somewhat more flexible and would be my choice of the two sizes, but love the smaller one and the sale price was great!

Love love loveddddd the quality, style and functionality of this bag. It's beautiful, totally good looking, and well made. It's also the perfect size. The ONLY thing that makes me nuts, are how wide the straps are on the bag. They literally fall off of my shoulders and it is the strangest thing, I don't understand it at all?? So confusing and unfortunately had to return. Huge fan of all things Allsaints though!
