These shoes are great looking but they are narrow in front and wide in the heel. Sadly, I had to return them.

I loved this shoe and I really wanted it to work, but I couldn't fit my orthotics--even going 1/2 size bigger. The shoe is truly a medium width which just can't accommodate orthotics. It's a beautiful shoe though.

I SO wanted these to work, but they didn't, sadly. They are just what I was looking for style-wise. I found them them pretty true to size, in terms of length, but the toe box wasn't especially roomy. I mean vertically, as in the height of the toe box. My big toe felt a little bit pressed upon. I found them to be narrow. I have a slightly narrow foot, so that would work for me, but those with wider feet should be aware. They are somewhat stiff in the patent leather. I don't know how much that would break in with time. But the deal breaker for me was the cut of the upper part of the shoe. It's cut fairly high toward the ankle/shin area, and the tongue digs into the front part of of my foot/leg where my foot flexes up toward my shin. (Not sure how to refer to that properly.) So with each step, I felt the stiff tongue digging in as I walked. I do sometimes that that issue with oxfords--some quirk of my foot anatomy, I suppose. But it would make these unwearable for me. They are super cute and seem well made, so if they fit you comfortably, they'd be great.

I bought these to travel in and wore them, with no-show socks, walking around Washington DC...from Georgetown to the Mall and around the Museum of Natural History. I also wore them on a walking tour of the Library of Congress and the Capital. We walked from Union Station, past the Supreme Court, and to the Library of Congress. In the rain. I was the only one in my group with dry feet at the end of the day. While not noted in the description, the patent leather will actually keep your feet dry in the rain. They are a also nice alternative to “sneakers”, which are generally too flat for me. I have narrow feet and usually drop down a half size. My normal size is an 8 1/2 N and the 8 worked fine for me. My only complaint is after a day of walking, the tongue of the shoe rubbed a hot spot at the front of my ankle. KT Blister Tape (which I recommend for all walking vacations) fixed the problem for me.

Love these shoes. They are comfortable and stylish. At first I thought they were stiff but I wore them for a day of walking in Highpoint NC and they were so comfortable with good support And my feet are difficult to make happy. I get compliments galore each time I wear them. Pricey but for me worth it.

These shoes are very well made. They're lined with super soft leather and a bit of padding. They are incredibly comfortable; giving a bit of height w/o the heel. To top their wonderfulness off, they are kickin' stylish. Eileen Fischer is class, and as someone else said, they'll feel just right a few years from now, and because of the quality they will last all of that and more.

Love the look however the fit is off for me. The leather is not forgivable and cuts into the side of my foot around the front and sides. I end the day with sore red lines around my foot, Maybe they will be better once broken in, but this is a painful breaking in period,.

I was shopping for a pair of platform flats that are transitional enough to wear casually on the weekends, but also acceptable to wear at my office job - the simple styling of these oxfords along with the patent finish and platforms did the trick. As other reviews have mentioned, these shoes run narrow. I have normal sized feet but my toes fan out, so I'm always wary about narrow-set shoes, however I ordered a half-size larger and that does the trick although it does feel like a snug fit straight out of the box without any breaking in. Unless you have narrow feet, I recommend ordering at least a half size larger than what you usually wear.

WOW! What can I say...love the color. This is my first pair of Eileen Fisher shoes and was really surprised how comfortable they are. I'm not sure that I will be able to purchase another pair because of the price, but I definitely would recommend them.

Fits true to size. I love these shoes and I cannot wait for it to finally get cold so I can wear them everyday. I am going to order them in black as well as soon as they get them back in stock.

I love the design as well as comfort. Price is very reasonable and it looks like very expensive designer shoes. I will buy again for sure if you keeping up the nice designs like this. I bought two of the same design shoes in dif. colors. Great job.

These were gorgeous and well made - alas, I had to return. They were extremely narrow. Also, no arch support so wouldn't be great for someone on their feet all day. But they did look snazzy.

I found this shoes - at least the brown ones - to run a half size big. The color of the brown suede was a little dull in my opinion and I just did not like these shoes as much as I thought I would.

My favorite shoe for comfort & fit. They're comfortable when I'm on my feet all day.

Beautiful shoe, as expected, with the Eileen Fisher brand. Stiff sole, but still comfortable for moderate walking. Very stylish.

Great basic shoes for casual or dress. I love anything patent leather.

Great shoes in a fabulous color. I love the fact that they are platforms but subtle and just enough to work with my dress pants.

I ordered my usual size 9 in Eileen Fisher shoes and they were longer than expected, so I sized down to 8.5 and they’re perfect. Definitely recommend ordering down at least a half size on these. They’re a very cool and elegant twist on classic Oxfords that give my work outfits a fun modern refresh.

I have these in black and just ordered the red color. They are the perfect shoes for style and comfort.

Great shoes.. don't wait. I bought them in the black and red patent. They look great with dress pants as well as jeans.

Loved this shoe! But alas it was 1/2 size too big and I have to return. I would have exchanged for a smaller size but they are sadly out of stock!

Gorgeous shoe and very comfortable right out of the box. Eileen Fisher can be hit and miss on sizing, but this one is good.
