these were a Christmas gift for our granddaughter. One pair was supposed to be navy blue,but actually is purple. I think she will keep them,but disappointing.

These shoes are a gift to my son, however, he loves Chuck Taylor shoes and I know he would say nothing but good things. The fit is always correct and I am sure he can't wait to wear these, of course, he will have to wait until Christmas....SURPRISE...new gore tex shoes....

I'm thrilled with the look and feel of these - PERFECT for urban life, cycling or walking. They are a little narrow and long for the size compared to other shoes I am used to, but it doesn't interfere with the wear and I believe the fabric may stretch a little over time to fit my foot. There's just the right amount of tread on the bottom to keep a grip without being bulky or trapping too much debris. Just the right amount of cushioning without bloating the shoe; I love the flat sole without a noticeable heel lift (maybe it's a 0mm heel lift.. I'm not sure - but it seems like a neutral sole to me, which I prefer for natural gait). The shoe is very lightweight. Because of the GoreTex, I haven't found a lighter more comfortable and chic-looking shoe that provides waterproof everyday wear. The fabric rubs and scrapes my lower calf slightly, but this should soften over time and is not an issue for modest city walks, and can also be fixed by wearing a legging or skinny jean, which looks great with these shoes.

Overall, this shoe is amazing if you deal with rain or snow which I do all the time. It stays warm in the shoe and nothing gets in all while staying stylish. Plus the gore Tex label on the outside makes it extra clean!
