Fit and size were perfect, however not more than 30 days after usual household wear, the right front portion of the outside felt layer wore off of the right shoe. Too much money to spend to have this type of defect within a shoe. Overall, pleased with the fit and the comfort level.

The slippers are comfortable and warm and i liked the style as well. Nice color combination of the grey felt / pink inside.. However.. i have hardly had them for 3 months, when the left shoe started developing a hole in the felt upper near the left toe and the pink underside is now showing through. The slipper did not suffer any damage other than the normal daily wear indoors, so i'm disappointed that they don't hold up better for the high price tag.

I wear a 10M (40) but planned to wear thick socks with this slipper, so I ordered an 11M (41). My foot hung over the back of this slipper about an inch (with very thin socks). The width seemed fine for a medium, or possibly slightly wider. I am disappointed that I cannot order the next size up because now the largest size available seems to be a 40. So, Problem One, sizing is way off. It is a beautiful slipper, the taupe/turquoise combo is great. The top is boiled wool, very, very nice, and likely to conform to the foot after some wear. The description says it is a leather-lined cork foot bed, but I saw no lining -- and was not like any cork I have veer seen. It seemed like it was a plastic/composite material, but maybe I am wrong. The footbed had all the requisite hills and valleys for arches and heels, and would likely have been very comfortable if it had actually fit. The sole looked like it would be great for indoor/outdoor use, but because of the wool top, definitely not for prolonged wet weather wear. If you are lucky enough to have smaller feet than mine, order a full size up. I was sad to have to return these beauties.

These are great! The insole is nice velvety smooth. The support feels good. Tired of the Sherpa or wool insoles that gets all smushed down, bumpy; pilling; and only lasting about 9 months before yucky. The wool is warm. Purchased a larger size for sock room. The insole is a smooth calf leather feel.

These are very nice slippers. They were a little more form fitting than i was expecting (and compared to the geisswein veitsch model). The reason I returned was the height. These were pretty tall to be slippers and I’m a little just wearing around the house, , my ankle slipped a couple of times. Someone more sure of foot wouldn’t have an issue. For th rocie, I want them to be oerfect for me. I’m going to try another mephisto style.

I LOVE THESE!! ...super support, in a streamlined sleek wool clog, with a cute grey and pink color combination, yes please! I wore my usual size and they are a perfect fit. If you have feet with a super high instep or that run wide, these may not be the right cut. I’ve been wearing Haflingers and decided to try these for a change and am so glad I did.

I got these for lounging around the house. Without socks, they fit better than with. Here I'm wearing thin socks and the fit is fine. But I will more than likely usually wear them without socks, as the wool will keep me warm. The Mephisto footbed is as expected, supportive and comfortable. But I wish the length were a tad longer. Compared to my other Mephisto shoes, these do seem slightly shorter. Size 42 is my size but I would have tried 43 if it had been available. This color was the least expensive, and I like it. But when Zappos lowered the price even further by $35 only several days later on Cyber Monday, I bought another pair, hoping to find the fit a bit better, but both were the same. Happy for Zappos return policy and for carrying Mephistos!

Like all Mephisto's these are well made and solid. I plan to wear as house shoes but they seem sturdy enough for outside use. May be too stiff for those who like soft slippers at home. I myself can't endure the pain of flat, no-support scuffs. I love the sturdy built-up soles and footbed of this brand.

Dang. Just got them and they are adorable, but they are too small...particularly if you would want to wear socks with them...so returning. So do order size up, if you wear socks, and maybe even if you don't...but thanks to Zappos easy return, it's worth the risk.

Don't bother if you have narrow feet. These are super cute, but the arches are lower than my Mephisto sandals, and, they are wider. There is no way to adjust them, so if you have narrow feet, the arch support won't hit where it's supposed to, rendering them useless. Would recommend if you have normal width feet and don't need copious amount of support!

LOVE this shoe! I got the leopard pattern in my usual size 36 and it fits perfect. Very soft yet supportive. Although it’s called a slipper it has such a durable sole I plan to wear this as a casual outdoor shoe anywhere not just inside. Thanks Zappos for having it at a fantastic sales price, I plan to get it in another color as well!

W O W - So comfy and cute AND on sale. I’m in feet heaven. Got the animal print (a great neutral) in my usual size 36, they fit perfect.

Love love love these. 2nd pair—warning do not try to wash them, or better yet do not unknowingly walk through a mountain of sandy dirt in the dark in them if you don’t enjoy gritty slippers. This newer pair has a higher platform/footbed which is insanely supportive and comfortable. Can walk and stand for hours around my house in these. Warm enough for all but the coldest mountain winter days.

I ordered three different types of slippers (sanita lodge slide and gierups wool slipper) that were pretty similar to these, but I ended up keeping these because the sole has such great arch support and tread. I wear them with socks and they keep my feet for a warm throughout the day while I work from home. The other two types of slippers I tried on were very cozy, but the soles are rounded on the edges, Making them less stable. They did not have much arch support. I have a pair of Mephisto sandals, and the insole for the slippers is very similar to what you find on the sandals. These shoes are not cheap, but you will get incredible value and comfort out of them. My sandals have lasted for over 10 years.

These slippers are so comfortable and cute! After trying up to ten pairs of slipper/ comfort shoes, these win!

Uppers are a bit stiff, and slightly tight as they hit my upper left foot. I’m sure they will soften up over time, but they’re comfy to walk around the house, inside and outside.

They are sturdy and well made. Perfect for slipping on to run errands. Not incredibly comfortable but comfortable enough and I’m sure over time will only get better. I normally wear a 10.5 and the 41 is the right size. If it was a teeny bit larger it might be better, but again I think they will continue to break in. Overall I am pleased with them. But they were pricey.

These are beautiful slippers, but I'm going to have to return them because they don't stay on snugly: The top over the instep is too large, although the length is perfect, as is the toe room and support. I'm grateful for Zappos always giving me the opportunity to try new things with easy returns.

I love my Haflinger slippers but I thought I’d try something new. I really like Mephisto shoes so I thought their slippers may be a good alternative. I like them but not as much as Haflinger.

If you have wide feet this is not the slipper for you. Very narrow.

Well, I love these. they're so comfy and warm. I frequently wear them out of the house, on my way to work, and then remember I'm supposed to be wearing sneakers. oops. Worth the cost! If you have a wider foot you should get a wider version.

Mephisto is the brand for me and since I do my chores in my slippers, in the winter, these are the perfect solution and cute enough to wear to the grocery store too.

This is my second pair of these. I love the sole and the warmth of the wool upper. I love the comfort and support along with ability to go outdoors. I often wear these all day, when at home.

I wear a size 10 in US sizing and this shoe was listed as a 10/EU 40 but I ran a little too small, I’ll post what the 11 is like when I try it.
