Customer Reviews Lipault Paris Plume Avenue 15" Laptop Backpack

I am a big fan of Lipault laptop backpacks (I have two -- an older style laptop bag with a more rounded profile and the newer, boxier business laptop bag). While I loved the look and slim profile of this bag, I did not feel it had the capacity nor provided the security I need to as my [public transit] commuter bag: 1. I would not be able carry everything I need and still be able to secure the bag with the drawstring. I would have to resort to carrying a purse plus this bag. 2. The side zip pockets would be a waste for me. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my cell phone or wallet in these. 3. The back straps are lesser quality than my other backpacks. They come from a center point and are not padded. If you commute by car and don't need to haul a lot (or are willing to carry a separate purse) this could work well for you. In the meantime, I hope the manufacturer considers making a version of this with a full zip option and padded straps.

I travel very often and have been looking for a durable lightweight bag. This is perfect. It is also very ergonomic and is easily placed on the back of my luggage (the backstop is wide)

Purchased as a 50th birthday gift to myself as red is my favorite color and I prefer a back pack style purse. This bag is excellent for air travel, will hold a moderate laptop or tablet, has a nifty alternate color inside, which makes hunting up keys, phone, chapstick, etc a breeze. Waterproof exterior too.
