My best friend turned me on to this wheeled duffel. I did not believe all the raving he did about this duffel until I finally got one for myself. Not only is it durable and stylish, but the hardware is far more superior than that of the luggage I have been using over the years from China. I would highly recommend this duffel to anyone who needs an oversized piece of luggage to travel.

I travel a lot for work. I have spent lots of money on luggage. Always getting damaged causing me to spend more money. Decided I would try this bag. The work that has gone into designing this bag is great from material frame wheels. This bag has not disappointed me at all. Ended up buying smaller one as well for carry on and it conveniently clips on the larger bag making it easy to roll through airports or anywhere. Well worth the money

As other have mentioned, conveyor belts in airports seem to easily melt the outer material on these bags so after one use, they look like they have been around the world twice. On top of that, the plastic foot on the bottom of the bag sheared off in transit on my first flight. This is EXACLTY what happened to my last Osprey rolling travel bag. How have they not figured out that riveting these plastic feet onto an aluminum frame doesn't hold up for airline travel? I love the size and shape of the bag. The idea of the whole thing is solid, but it is let down by the bag's durable looks not actually matching up to its durability in actual usage.

The ease of transport in and out of airports, third world shuttles and the ability to keep my eye on it makes it the perfect duffle for me!

I used this bag on a 3 week safari trip to Africa that included numerous flights. The color made it distinctive and the material and closures were ideal. I do recommend packing cubes which made repacking oh so much easier. Large bag but totally manageable for a woman in her 60s. Super light but very strong and well made.

Super durable in that it doesn't tear. It has taken 30 flights and has no functional damage, but the bag looks uglier than sin already. So when I show up at a nice hotel it's embarrassing. Just like the other comments airlines make marks on these bags. I fly alot. The bag is ugly. But still functioning well.

A no frills hard use design. We all know how hard airports can be on our luggage. It survived and still looks good and ready to take on more. Even getting hauled and tossed around in the Arizona heat. Wheels? Smoothest and most durable I've used. Waterproof? Yup, keeps stuff dry. I questioned the handle that booms out. Even took a hard spill. It's still straight and operates like it is brand new. I only wish there were more organizational pockets on the inside. All in all, an awesome duffel that hauls a lot of gear and stands up to the rigors of travel.

I had this bag for one trip and like other reviews on here, the pictures don't lie. I'm hoping that the material is able to stand up for future trips, as you can see it has a big gouge in it. I love the functionality of the bag, but am just not sure how many trips I'll get out of it. If you're looking for functionality, it's great. It won't be pretty after your first trip and you just have to deal with it.

As an outdoor travel professional I'm traveling 300+ days a year all over the world. In and out of airports, on busses and boats.I need luggage that is versatile and durable. I thought this was the luggage I've been waiting for. I must have searched for a month straight. This just isn't durable at all. One trip through the airport baggage system the bag looks like its 3 years old. The Black/Grey model shows even the slightest scratch or scuff. I was so disappointed after spending so much on this bag and it being totally scuffed up after 1 trip. I have called the company directly but they offered no help and would not accept any returns because they said, since I used it once they cannot accept it. Don't get me wrong I love osprey products I have a lot of them and recommend them to my guests regularly but I can not stand behind this bag.

My first impressions of this bag were very good. It doesn't have a lot of pockets but I liked that this allowed me to have maximum flexibility with what I put inside. After one trip (3 flights total) from Seattle to Florida and back, the bag looks pretty beat up. The fabric has some kind of plastic or rubberized coating on it and that coating seems to get easily scraped or burned when handled by airport baggage systems. This has not given me a lot of confidence in the bag long term. What's more concerning is that I contacted Osprey about this after my trip and never heard anything back. I didn't feel it was necessary to submit a warranty claim because the pack is still functional but I did email the customer service department voicing concerns and sharing photos of the amount of wear incurred after only one trip. This was my first osprey purchase, it was the most expensive bag I've ever purchased and it has left me feeling like I unfortunately should just stick with cheaper bags from now on.
