My wife and I each have one (different generations) and love them. The larger wheels are not only excellent over all pavements, but the ball bearings make rolling effortless. This bag is extremely efficient and always hold more than I thought possible. It helps that there are no hidden backpack straps and all of the space can be used for stuff. The compartments are all useful and well thought out. Always works without issue in the US , but might need to be checked on some European airlines that restrict carryons to 10 kilos (unless you can travel truly that light). Easy to carry on stairs due to good handles. These Ozone bags have transformed the way we travel. Will never go back to traditional luggage.

I've traveled with backpacks for ever - but a bad hiking injury left me unable to carry much for a while. My partner surprised me with this before a European trip. I adore it!!! it's super lightweight, but packs a ton! It rolls really easily and the tough handle on top makes it okay to carry up and down staircases. It opens wide and has useful but not bulky pockets for all sorts of things (I love the back pocket for my ipad and documents and the little top pocket for lunch!

I prefer to pack light with carry on only whether trip is 1 week or 1 month. A laptop pocket is unnecessary for me, as my phone serves me well enough. And a lap top sleeve would take up space (with the extra padding) that could be used for other things. I had used another carry-on bag for a a winter trip and I barely got everything into that bag. And it was a struggle to lift into the overhead bin. Once I got home, I ordered this osprey ozone bag. As a test, after I had laundered everything, I re-packed everything I had in the previous bag into my new osprey ozone. And to my delight, everything fit with room to spare. What I especially love was how lightweight it is, yet strong; I really appreciate the handle at the base. It really makes a HUGE difference in ease of lifting, handy especially when loading it into overhead bins. I'm strong, but I'm also a 5'1" female in my 50's. Though it's only 2-wheeled, it rolls smoothly and with minimal effort. I thought having the trolley T- handle would make the navigation less stable and also take away from the interior space, as my other bag didn't have that feature, but those quickly became non-issues with this bag. One of my priorities was to have a bag that was light, so having 2-wheeled vs. 4-wheeled and a single vs. dual telescoping trolley was an easy sacrifice. Can't wait to use this bag on a future adventure! Icing on the cakeit was on sale!

I'm in love this bag - The light weight is the key differentiator. I'm using public transportation have to carry something down stairs. The 2 wheels are best, particularly in Europe with many cobblestones and uneven ground. Also love the back pocket, has been very useful for many items to keep handy. I find the jacket strap very useful! Inner and outer compression straps really work even when I'm already using compression packing cubes. The T handles attributes to the lighter weight and doesn't allow for a pocket sleeve to add on top. You could hang and attach a bag on three of the sides - not very stable but works in a pinch. If Osprey were to add another handle on the side that would help to more creatively attach stuff.

I don't mind the T-handle. I wanted a lightweight carry-on that could easily roll on rough terrain or cobblestones. A spinner would be an upgrade for this, however, this does not roll when in the train or buses. I have the 21" and 19". This packs a lot of lightweight, quick-dry travel clothing. I have traveled with either one for long trips. They are well-made. I love these.

I LOVE this bag! I bought it for a month-long trip to Asia and have used it for every trip since. The document quick-access pocket on the pack is great, as is the small pocket in the top. I really don't have any complaints about this bag. Other reviewers referenced the T-handle but my smaller carry-on is a pack, so I've never had to attach a bag to the pull handle.

I've had an original version of this bag for 4 years now and it has lasted me through several domestic and international trips. I've traveled quite often with this bag and it still holds up great! I've tried other bags in that time, but I consistently keep on coming back to this one due to the thoughtful design and quick access to my possessions when I need them. I highly recommend this carry on bag!

When the international size limits for carry-ons changed, I was not happy so started looking for a replacement. I was tentative about purchasing the Ozone, with its single handle. The handle and the bag have proven to be extremely durable so far, and the bag holds as much gear and weight as I can pack into it (I've carried 50 lb. of backpacking food to Greenland in it, and wheeled it a mile or so down a gravel road from the airport into Kulusuk, and I've wheeled it around Thamel in Kathmandu, and soooo many other places). So, yes, this bag suits my needs!

Love this case, by far one of the lightest carry on's out there. This is important as other countries go more on weight than size for carry on. Very sturdy; I have taken this to Antarctica, Argentina , Egypt, Iceland, South Africa, England etc (you get the picture!) and the wheels don't care what I am wheeling it through. I have also used the backpack feature with the day pack attached on my chest. As a solo female traveler it is Very important to have your hands free in some areas. My bag shows very little wear and tear, almost as if I haven't used it much which could not be further from the truth. ** My only complaint and it is a big one is the single "T" handle. You cannot put a bag on the handle and go through the airport or the streets. If you do the bag on the handle will roll to each side and tip the Ozone bag over; Very Annoying. I do not think it woudl be too hard for Osprey to put a "U" handle on these so you can carry a bag on the Ozone. I am in the hunt right now for a new bag because of this for an 8 month road trip around Europe. My trips are never less than 4 weeks and average 7-9 weeks at a time. I do a lot of traveling between different types of transportation, hiking etc and I like to place a bag on top of the Ozone when I am in the city.

I have had this version of bag for the last three years. Five stars. It was stolen out of my locker closet and am planning to replace- not as many internal pockets and the back outside pocket is much smaller. A bit disappointed that the quality has gone down a bit but still a wonderful adventure/light weight luggage.

Single pull handle does not allow attaching another bag io the top. This is the only improvement I would suggest. Otherwise great bag! Did 6 weeks travel in Europe including a wedding with this bag!

I finally decided I had enough of lugging around a duffle bag and wanted to upgrade to a carry-on that could keep up with me. All my packs are Osprey, so I decided to try out their luggage. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Osprey. The bag arrived in excellent condition. It was easy to pack and could easily be adjusted. The only down side, and the reason it got 4 stars, is that the front pocket is almost useless once you fill the main compartment. It looked big enough to store my toiletries but if you pack full, you won't manage to squeeze much in there. It's a little disappointing, but I was able to squeeze my blow dryer into the main compartment. I also always travel with a backpack as well, so it's not a deal breaker.

I purchased this for a month long biking adventure in Europe. While the bag held all my stuff I really wish I had purchased the carry on size. I'm 5' 1/2" and this bag is impossible, when it has stuff in it, for me to carry by the top handle to lift it over a gap between platforms etc. And with the side grab handle only being on one side is awkward as being right handed I have to carry it with the front facing me which makes it difficult when it has your stuff in it because the bulk and weight is up against your legs. I would love to return it for a different Osprey Bag but I had to use it for my trip so I'm stuck I guess but it will not be my first choice when I go on my next trip. The back pocket is ok but doesn't lock. The zippers are robust and move smoothly except are a bit awkward at the top right corner where it attaches to the bag. The bag interior is a neon green which I love and the outter colour is black. The outer top corners are not well protected and so I now have a tear in the fabric which differs from the bag itself.

I bought 3 of older design of that bag for my family. Everyone loves it. I kept using a little smaller eagle Creek bag as it was good enough. Finally I needed slightly bigger bag and I bought ozone 42L online. When it came, I though I got a wrong item. The design changes were small but very noticeable. All the goodness of small pockets were ruined, and, my favorite, back compartment is now very hard to access and use. I tried to pack it, but quickly realized that it's not going work and I returned it.

Was looking to add another Ozone bag to what I own. But the "new" features don't look like improvements. My grey Ozone 22in carry-on (that I love and have used heavily for about 5 years) has two full-length front/side zip pockets - that easily hold a pair of shoes, lightweight jacket, and much more - that's easy to access without entering the main compartment; and the back pocket has double zippers so it can be locked and its also more spacious (great for a lightweight stowable puffy jacket, and later to store dirty clothes). Disappointed to see that it still has a single-barrel handle, as well; as soon as you add a small bag or briefcase via the front clip, it just twirls around as you wheel the bag along. Without a double-barrel handle you can't use a jacket holder that clips behind the handle, like on other brand bags. I love Osprey products but sorry to see the changes and won't be purchasing the global carry-on as I'd intended.

The company replaced mine due to a handle flaw. I had much rather have gotten mine back once I received the new pack. The front zipper area is almost inaccessible the zipper is so small. Two net pockets & a zipped area that I used constantly in that pocket have been removed. The main compartment is now a side zip and two crucial side zip pockets were removed. The interior which was a bright contrasting color so you could easily see your contents, is now the same dark color as the exterior. At this point, purchasing more luggage, I would have to consider other brands even though I am an Osprey fan.
