I grab this pack for so many outings - I'm a small woman, yet this never feels like too much.

I got this bag for my daughter to use on a 5 day Disney trip. She is young and this was going to be perfect both in size and stuff she could carry. The zippers are super high quality, the nylon is very heavy, it has excellent padding. I don't know what possessed Osprey though on the fabric of the front pocket, it is EXTREMELY light and EXTREMELY fragile. My daughter was keeping her water bottle in it and after 5 days of wear the front pocket was destroyed. The rest of the bad looked brand new as it should with not a mark on it but the front pocket material was holed in several places and has a large hole that ran the whole edge of were the water bottle was. I had to take this back and I can't recommend buying it. That being said if Osprey dumps the tissue paper front pocket for a good heavy mesh water bottle pocket I'd buy this again in a heart beat.

I use this bag everyday as it has become my purse. It is perfect for being 'hands free' and with a quick pull/tug the bag can be in front for me to get anything needed - including hand sanitizer. There are only two mesh compartments and one bigger divided compartment. I purchased an Osprey small ultralight zip sack to help with organization of the sling bag.

I bought the Eggplant Purple bag. It is a great color. The bag has a mesh zip pocket in front that I think is great for a water bottle. It has enough room inside for wallet, keys, sunscreen, bug spray, lip balm, and even a light jacket. The pockets inside make it easy to find what you are looking for without dumping everything out. I think it is versatile enough to carry as a casual purse, wear it with the bag in front, or in the back. The padding is very cushy.

This bag is perfect for work. It fits my stethoscope, pens, pulse ox, a plastic water bottle, and my keys and small wallet, with some room left over. It fits inside a small locker and carries well. The purple color is beautiful. Great bag!

For me, this is the perfect size for essentials for a quick after-work walk or hike. Main compartment will accommodate a liter bottle plus wallet and snack. Has a key clip and multiple pockets inside, so items don't all end up in the bottom. Outside pocket is perfect for phone. Strap length adjusts easily and can unclip to fasten around a table or chair for security.

i love love love this pack. I have had it for over a year and it holds a lot more than other smaller sized sling packs I have owned and is overall easy to stuff full, good quality and super handy. I keep eyeing them for more colors.

I have used it as essentially a purse. I have used it to carry water and other basics on a long walk. I plan to use it for hikes. I'd change clip to closer to bag and have one on each side (and perhaps a two way zipper to go 2/3 of the way around the pocket so it could be worn across body in either direction. I find it tricky right now with a right shoulder strain. I love this bag and might buy in a second color when my shoulder is better.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag!!! Super durable and comfortable! I haven't had the front mesh problems like some people, but I don't keep much in the pocket other than small items so I am not stressing the mesh. I can't say enough good things about this bag. Much prefer it over competitor bags. The back panel and inside strap are made of a nice material that is kind to clothes, unlike others that feel like they are going to put pills in the areas that the bag slides.

Perfect pack for short hikes or running around town, first time out with it today on a 4mile hike, held all the necessities along with my camera. Loving the pack so far!

Osprey is the first company I have ever really had any kind of "brand loyalty" to. I own three Osprey bags now, and the sling is the latest. I'm about to take it on a long trip overseas as my everyday pack/ personal item and I can already tell I'm going to love it. Compact enough to to be comfortable to wear when full, it still holds everything I'll need to make my flight comfortable and it will fit easily under the seat. I really love that there are a few mesh compartments on the inside to keep certain items easily accessible. MY problem with other sling bags as always been that it's just one, awkward shaped compartment on the inside and everything slides to the bottom out of easy reach. The inner pockets help keep smaller items from slipping down.

This is a neat little pack! Great for short hikes or strolling around town. Colors match other Daylite bags. Plan on using this for a lunch bag as well as short daily adventures. Pros: -Comfortable -6 liters of storage -main pocket has 3 pockets in it and key clip -front pocket is breathable mesh -adjustable strap unbuckles -chap stick/bar pouch on strap -easily rotates around body -looks awesome -Osprey warranty Con: -may be overlooked due to price

Love this sling for day hikes. It holds 2 bottles of water, snacks, and everything else I need for the day. I prefer a sling over a backpack so that I can access the bag without taking it off. For a woman the strap fits under your breast and looks a bit funny. They don't show that in the pictures. Adjusting the tiny lip balm pouch on the front strap to hold a cell phone (larger pocket with a pull string) would put this over the top as the perfect day hiker bag!!!

I had a hard time putting this over my shoulder and head. I guess some might like it but it was messing up my hair and i didn't like the way it sat on my body. If you love single slings though.. it is nice. Just not for me.

This is a great everyday bag. I use it as a purse. Fits more than you'd thing. The contents are designed to be easily accessed with the bag still slung over the shoulder which is a great feature. My only suggestion would be to make the top, smaller pocket of a stronger fabric than the stretchy mesh-like material. I am sure that is going to rip oen.

I really like the sling pack design. But, when carrying a water 16oz bottle it falls from my back to under my arm. I've tried cinching it down, which make it uncomfortable, but it doesn't stay up on my back. Add a removable stabilizing strap and it would alleviate the problem.

Bought for my 8 year old daughter, wife has similar item. Good for light trips but a sleeve for a water bottle would make this thing so much better

I had to regift the Daylite sling. Please add external mesh water bottle pocket.

I really like this product because of its fine materials and is easy to use but i do not like the mesh pocket because when you put things inside it people can easily see through overall this bag is perfect.

I bought this bag for a trip, after only 4 days of use the front pocket is ripped. I will not recommend to put anything in the front pocket.

This material feels great but double check the measurements - the photo makes it look MUCH bigger than it is. The front pocket is just mesh so you can see what you've put in the purse and something pointy like a pen or keys might poke through and rip it. The pocket on the strap itself is too small to even count, maybe a tube of chapstick would fit there?

I purchased this bag to tour sites in Rome where backpacks are frowned upon if not outright banned. It had sufficient volume to carry things I'd need for a day in the city. However with less than 2 weeks of use the front mesh pocket that holds a water bottle developed a hole. I could send it to Osprey for repair but from what I see on the web, the patch job would render the pack quite ugly. Not what you want for walking around a city..

Very disappointed in the fit of this bag. The strap hits me wrong and is uncomfortable. My daughter has a patagonia bag that fits/feels much better. Returning and ordering the other bag that fits me better. I am 5-4 medium to small build.
