I love Paul Green shoes, but sometimes my foot doesn't have enough "volume" and it moves around in the shoe. That's what happened in these shoes. I could probably put in an off-the-shelf insert in to "fill" out the shoe, but at this price I didn't feel it was justified. I liked the styling but didn't love it, so back it goes. It's a well-made shoe and is made from beautiful materials. The cordovan color is rich.

The “bottle green” of these shoes is to green, the way navy is to blue. Very wearable. Not boring, but you won’t be the “lady in the green shoes” either. My feet are a tad wide and a little narrow at the heal, and my usual 7M (4.5) fits perfectly. Sole is flexible.

I initially ordered a 9 and had to return it as my foot swam in it. The smaller size arrived as the original order was returned. (Great service!) The new size was perfect. Paul Green is my favorite brand and I have bought several Paul Green shoes from Zappos over the years.

It was like at first sight when I purchased the loafers from Zappos and love at first sight when I put them on. They are nicely tailored of beautiful patent leather. The construction and quality are excellent. They are comfortable on a trial wear around the house except where the sides were high enough to hit my ankle bones as I walked. I tried inserts to raise my feet up in the shoes, but my ankles were still hitting. Just a 1/4 to 1/8 inches lower in the height of the that part of the upper shoe would have made all the difference. Alas, they have to go back.
