Fit and size was larger than indicated (10.5 W). Tied snug they were wearable nut still had extra width space. Heel box was poor and allowed heel to move . not uncomfortable for 1/2 mile walks but not sure about anything linger. Shoe also sounds hollow when walking on cement and asphalt surfaces. It appears that the sole/lugs are hollow and act like tiny drums on hard surfaces... Not sure if i'll use these for yardwork only or just trash them. Will go back to Keen shoes in the future.

I'm on my second pair of these shoes. Reasonably priced, durable, grippy, and decent enough style for casual walking/hiking. My first pair was a solid performer, and I wore them to shreds, so I didn't hesitate to buy another pair. The second pair is, shockingly, absolutely not waterproof. They're useless for what I need them for. Incredibly frustrating getting soaked socks when walking in even a modest rain. I want to buy another pair, but I'm afraid the quality has somehow just fallen off a cliff.

I always liked Rockport"s and the fit and comfort of this one is fine, however, I am dissapointed that the heels are wearing through after only a few months of moderate wear.

It's a good looking shoe, seems well made, but it is very stiff and because of that, not comfortable for me. I bought this shoe for an upcoming trip where I'll be doing a lot of walking, and even if they could loosen upon upon break-in, I can take that chance...

They are comfortable but they make a popping sound through the step. First pair of shoes that have done this. People know when you're coming!

These are basic hiking shoes. I bought them after trying a few other brands that did not fit. My main complaint is the shoe strings will not stay tied. I pull them really tight and they still loosen as I walk. You would think that shoe companies would have shoe laces figured out by now, but obviously not.

I got the shoes and I tried them on, but they felt a little big and since I used them once outside, could not exchange them for a smaller size.

Too rigid, I was expecting these would be softer and expect they will get to that point after a certain "break-in period." The ad does say "boot."

Rockport has been letting me down. This time I avoided ProWalkers, since they used to be light and supple, now are wooden and uncomfortable (same model number, same size I had before). I should have guessed something was wrong. And now the sizing is off; I was under the vague impression I'm a 12W; not according to this shoe! They swim.

Ordered 10.5 W(EE). Shoes felt little longer than my normal 10.5 & still too thin to be EE's. Had to return.

I really liked the style of these shoes and tried really hard to convince myself to keep them, but had to return due to excessive slippage in the heel. Although I tend to have heel slippage problems regardless of brand, other brands construct the lacing to allow tightening in the back of the show. If you don't have heel slippage problems, definitely try these out.

Great quality shoe, but too tight in the toebox and my high instep were show stoppers. Just too tight overall.

Not as comfortable as my Rock Cove's. Today is my first day wearing. A bit stiff and not as much padding in the front as my other Rockports. Glad they were on sale.

I had a previous pair of the same model shoe, with which I was very pleased. Unfortunately, I will be returning the new pair. They are as comfortable as the previous pair, though the materials seem to be of lesser quality. The real problem, though, is that the left one has an extremely annoying popping sound caused by the flexing of the shoe while walking that makes them unwearable for me.

This shoe is a good fit , however it is not waterproof. My feet were wet in low cut grass after first wear.

good fit and style but had to return after several wears, they make a annoying popping sound like if one was wearing too big of shoes or flip flops popping up on the foot but they fit fine, it is within the bend of the shoe.

until I received it. Far too narrow and therefore not very comfortable. Had to return it. Found another shoe (different brand) that I am very happy with.

Review: I I bought from this brand about two years ago. After I wore out that pair, I bought three more pairs of the same brand and they were not as comfortable with a different fit from the first pair. Which model should I purchase to get a similar fit as the first pair? I have tried a couple times of a photo of my own shoes but its not attaching.

They are "Clunky" not comfortable. It helped a bit when I removed their insole and put in a Dr Scholls, but they took a month of daily wear to begin to break in. Still not that comfortable and they make a weird noise when I walk.

Waterproof lasted about 2 weeks and quit. I walk around homes in the morning grass and my socks get soaked after about 30 minutes. These are my first pair of Rockports and was under the impression that they were hi quality comfortable shoes. Boy was I wrong. Shoes are far from comfortable and have no support. Complete waste of money and can't return them because they say they have been worn. Well Duh.

Bought due to the fact they were waterproof. A couple months after buying them, the darker material around the toes cracked and is separating from the sole. They are therefore no longer waterproof. I used to wear only Rockport and got away from them. This is the first pair I have bought in a long time and won't be buying another. Very disappointed.
