Cons: Sizing, cushioning, flexibility. I typically wear a 9.5 in running shoes, but 9.5 in these shoes felt too big. Size 9 was too small. Tried running in them, and felt like I had two boards strapped to my feet. They're heavy and don't seem very cushioned or flexible to me. Legs were tired after just a few miles. Pros: Quality seems very good, and they look nice. But not enough to compensate for the discomfort.

I have worn the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for almost 10 years. I struggled to find sneakers for walking (I walk a lot) as I always experienced pain, numbness and cramping with other brands. I went with my husband to a local running store (he’s a runner) and they suggested the Adrenaline GTS (half size larger) and it was like a dream come true. No numbness, cramping or pain anymore. I have noticed, however, the last few iterations feel cheaper and don’t fit as well. I purchased a pair of GTS 19s at the end of May and by early July they were falling apart. There were holes on the collars that wrap around my ankles and the back part where I pull them on, a hole on the right shoe where my little toe rubs (and I don’t have a deformed toe or anything) and the treads had already been rubbed flat on both shoes ( front and back). After 1.5 months of walking a $120 pair of shoes shouldn’t be in such rough condition. On top of that, I think the new style and colors are downright horrid. I chose the white/copper and they are an odd heather gray that looked dirty right out of the box. I kept them because I was going on vacation and knew I would need them, but they are pretty ugly. By early August my feet started to hurt when I took walks longer than 20 minutes, so I know they are breaking down. I switched to an old pair that I normally only use when I mow the yard (GTS 16s) because I don’t want to drop another $120 to have another pair fall apart in 2 months. Brooks really needs to stop cutting corners for a profit and give us back a high quality Adrenaline GTS. I can only hope the GTS 20 comes out soon.

After running in these for 100 miles, I'm really not happy with them. The first day, they felt like I was running on clouds. Day 2...running on concrete. They've also caused a bizzare deep blister on my left foot, at the outer edge of the ball of my foot. Painful. I have high arches, and these do nothing to support me. I was running on NB Minimus shoes for a couple years, but my feet hurt so I thought I'd switch to a "cushy" shoe. Well, now my feet hurt, my hips hurt (again) and my back hurts (again). Back to the Minimuses.

I have an older Adrenaline that works great, but this toe box felt too shallow and shoe felt narrow.

Completely lacking arch support! I was a big fan of prior models and owned the 13's and 14's. These didn't help my overpronation at all and really lacked any support. A good looking shoe if that's all you're looking for.

The mid part of the shoe felt narrow but toe box was good. Ordered a wide and the mid part still felt a bit narrow but now the toe box was way too big. Just a weird fit for me. I have been wearing Brooks for years and the is the first time I’m truly disappointed.

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 7.5D did not work for me. Walked around inside house to try them for maybe 15 minutes and couldn’t wait to take them off. Toe box wide enough for toe spread and wiggle room though shoe maybe a smidge shorter in length than it should be, however shoe was so painful at outside midfoot area opposite arch and insole where it curves up inside. Shoes are fairly lightweight but imo a little bulky and stubby looking, design and color choices need improvement. Arch placement felt wrong, and top of shoe at top lace area hit too high at front of ankle bone causing more pain. Before ordering at Zappos, was measured at a specialty store using scanning technology and sized at just under a 7C width at widest point, flatter arch; they recommended trying 7.5D stability shoe. Tried these on instore and they felt okay at the time. Normally wear 7-7.5B in street shoes, usually 7.5B in athletic shoes, have never worn a wide width or stability shoe or Brooks though it was recommended. Unfortunately had to return these, but first tried a larger size 8 and feet were swimming in that size (sales associate even commenting shoe too big); also tried a size 7 where arch placement felt a little better but shoe too short in length, not thumbs width for toes. Seems like there is more than ¼ inch difference between size 7.5 and 8. Can pull all Brooks styles off my heels with shoe tied, but these didn't slip at heel when walking. Possibly don’t need a wide shoe or a stability shoe, just a better fitting shoe. Thank you Zappos for your excellent customer service and quick shipping.

Loved the GTS 17, hate the GTS 18, and the GTS 19 is not attractive along with runs small. I’m debating trying ASICS again. I’ve been wearing the GTS series for about 8 years. Not impressed with with their last two models.

Got this as a support shoe for mild/moderate overpronation. Let me tell you.. it is NOT. It's a neutral shoe with a bit of stability. I gave it a 1-month shot as a walking/running shoe because I read it had a long break-in period. I really WANT to love this shoe because it's so cushy. However, there is just not enough support for flat feet/overpronators. It also feels very bulky, especially after switching to Ravennas (which DO have enough support for my feet.) Seems like a good shoe, just definitely not right for me.

Super bummed. Both the new Glycerine and Adrenaline have a different toe box. My toes fit perfectly in the older model, My right toe crams right into the front of the new Adrenaline. Incredibly sad.

Love the look of these shoes. However, one month in and I’m wearing a hole in the toe area. Very thin top. My feet also stink in these shoes which has never ever been an issue. Very disappointed in this shoe.

I have two pairs of this model shoe, one in the black with neon stripes and this camo. The black one fits well. The camo, for some reason, doesn't have the same support. I'm disappointed that they didn't woork out since the other pair wears so well and this pair causes my legs to ache and my ITBs to become inflamed. Returning this color and contemplating buying another pair, maybe in the same black in the hope that they too will work well.

I am NOT happy with the Brooks adrenaline design anymore! I have worn this style since 2004 when my Podiatrist recommended them for my orthotics and I have had great success in the past but the past few styles have gone down hill in comfort and support. They were great for my back, feet and knee issues but lately they aren't giving me the support needed at all. I would return this pair if I could. I guess it is time to find another brand with great support for I feel Brooks is not as concerned with support as keeping up with the current trendy looks in running shoes. the GTS 18 & 19 are the worst! I bought the GTS 19 because some reviews said they had improved the support but I sure don't feel that way. After about 2-3 hours of wearing them I am in total pain from not getting the support that I need.

This is the worst shoe I have ever bought. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. Typically, my shoes last approx 5 months before I begin to notice that my legs are super tired at the end of the day. These shoes had the same effect the first time I wore them. I have tried adding orthotics to them, so that I won't have blown money on shoes that are horrible, but I just can't wear them.

Fine shoe for narrow foot and pronation. I dontvlike that you changed after like gts 17 to a larger shoe and design. Theyvlook clunky and like something out of 1970s. Don't like colors either. Prefer white with color strips and the old version size 8 as made your foot appear smaller /fit better. Why do you change stuff- and not for the better sometimes.

I got my 6.0 wide. In my opinion this is way better than Ariel 18 . I got plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis this shoes is soft and bouncy . I put my Orthopidec insoles I feel like my plantar life half an inch . I can't wait to ride a bike tomorrow. Thanks for my doctor who recommended this shoes . Thumbs Up!!!!!!

I am 70 years old. My physical therapist recommended that I start wearing supportive shoes to help keep my hips, knees and feet in alignment. I have osteoarthritic, bone on bone, knees. Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoes were recommended at the shoe store due to their side rail support. I love the support and comfort so much that I have purchased a second pair. I wear them all day and my feet feel great, and I have improved balance because my feet are kept in proper alignment. No more rolling inward due to flat feet. I also purchased a pair of DYADs. I like them too.

I have small feet and high arches- I like to run outside a lot- these shoes fit perfectly and are super comfortable! They have wiggle room in the top, but are snug enough to make it fit like a glove. I haven't bought sneakers since the Ghost 8 which I loved, and I tried buying 3 other pairs of shoes and returned them because they didn't fit right. These are definitely staying and I might purchase one more pair too! (I am normally a 5.5 in women and I ordered a 5.5 and they fit great. I got the maroon/gray pair.

I've been an adrenaline junkie for years and years. I love them because they fit. I have narrow heels so I get the 2A width. My heels don't slip and yet my forefoot and toes are not constricted which is something I sometimes experience with 2A width shoes in other brands. My only mild complaint is that 2A's are usually offered in only one color and this time it was not, in my opinion, a very attractive one. However I'll put up with ugly shoes to get the great fit.

I have big wide feet and only walk not run while outdoors. I bought these shoes and put them aside for "later" but I wanted to try them out before my 90 days trial was over. They are Great! It was like walking on pillows but very stable. I walked 3.5 miles today and almost forgot they were on my feet. I will alternate my walking shoes, but these are so nice. Black was my first choice, but didn't have my size so I got the navy, still very pretty.

Just got my new shoes. I love them so far! Feels like I'm walking on clouds. They are true to size and width. I first ordered the Levitate 2 and they were way too narrow for me, no option for wide. Ordered these (wide) and they fit perfectly. I wish the Adrenaline had more colorful options like the Levitate.
