This update for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 is so much better than last year's version. The GTS 18 was shallow in the heel not wide enough in the toe and lacked the support that Brooks is known for. The GTS 19 is much more like the GTS 17. There is more cushioning throughout in the GTS 19. Feels like walking on a cloud but with good support. I still prefer the slightly more firm GTS 17 but it's not available any more. I was nervous that the GTS 19 would be like the GTS 18. It's not! It's more like the GTS 17. Thank you, Brooks!

OK guys, I have only had these for two days: however, I am an amputee, so I know from the get go if I am keeping shoes or not. If the shoe on my "real" foot fits perfectly but I am rolling around loosely on my prosthetic foot, it's no deal. So far, the fit on both feet is excellent. Real foot is very comfy, stable and well cushioned and prosthetic is well balanced, does not throw my gait off and is the same height as the other shoe. As an amputee, I have always found Brooks to be the best, most stable, long wearing and comfortable shoe. Recommended by my prosthetist when I became an amputee and I am still happy with them. I do, however, wish that Brooks would keep more extra wides' in stock. Not all of us have narrow to medium widths, even if we only have one "real" foot!!

I've had these Brooks sneakers for about a month. They developed a pin sized hole in the mesh at the tip of the shoe(my toes do not touch there). Sadly, the hole is gradually getting larger. Given the expense of the shoe, I don't think this should happen. The low rating is because these shoes just don't hold up.

The toe box of the 19 seems a bit wider and roomier than the 18. My one complaint with Brooks shoes is the color combinations. There is room for improvement. I typically overlook that for the fit.

I just got my GTS 19's yesterday and have been wearing them all day. What an improvement over the 18's. They are very cushioney. I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. And the toe box is wider, which I need so I am super happy with my 19's. I'll have to order a few pair because who knows what the 20's will be like. There is a lot of support all over the shoe. No breaking in was necessary. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes.

I spent months deciding which sneakers to buy. I am not a big runner. But running is the kind of cardio I enjoy the most. I run on the treadmill and on the road. But my knee starts to hurt after 5 km. So I decided to buy a serious pair of running sneakers before I really hurt my knee. This one was perfect. It is more on the narrow side, but not exactly narrow. I like my feet to feel a bit snug. They have great support and comfortable lining. Tried three other pairs before these, GTS17, Ghost and Ravena, but these were the best option by far. I wear 7.5 and bought these in an 8. I always buy my sneakers half a size up.

First off -- I have bad feet: pronated ankles, fallen arches, stability problems and arthritis. I have purchased Glycerin 15 in the past, but I can no longer find a Glycerin 15. I decided to try the Adrenaline GTS 19 this time. At first I wasn't sure about the shoe; it felt different from the Glycerin shoe. I wore them in the house for a few days, then wore them a bit more after that. I usually walk a few miles every day. As my feet adjusted to the shoes, I wore them regularly on my walks. I have to say that I am very pleased with this shoe. It supports my ankles and adds more stability as I walk. I do use orthodics in my shoes, which helps. I'm really trying to avoid surgery and these shoes help.

Thank goodness Brooks came to their senses and remodeled this shoe from last year. Last year's Adrenaline was so awful and not supportive and just an all around basic flop, I couldn't believe Brooks even put it out. The 19 model is definitely an upgrade and I feel like the support is back. The only thing I don't care for is the tongue is too short and I feel the shoe does not wrap around my foot high enough because of this. I have noticed this in a lot of running shoes trying to fit into the "minimalist" scene which really needs to go. My feet need support and cushion and a shoe that will provide it.

I haven’t worn Brooks in a few years, but thought I would give these a try. After attempting to run in them for a few weeks, they are going to the back of the closet. Absolutely no support and the tongue of the shoe doesn’t lay flat and runs against the top of my foot. My feet felt horrible after a few miles on these. Super disappointmented:(

Very comfortable. The GTS 18 really surprised me - felt a lot less cushioned than what I was used to with Brooks - I went ahead and ran in them and ended up hurting the bottom of my foot. I tried the GTS 19 and they felt great - much more of the quality I'm used to from Brooks. I did end up returning them and keeping the Ghost 11 instead - just felt a tiny bit more comfortable to me - but it was close.

These are my wife's shoes, and she is at nearly two months ownership with them. She has wide feet, and has trouble finding comfortable shoes for walking and exercise classes (no running). These Brooks have worked very well for her (wide width). The width is good, the toe box is deep enough, and the cushioning is fantastic. She also has the Adrenaline GTS 18's, and these 19's are as good if not better. You always worry about running shoe companies changing from one version to the next, but that has not been a problem with these. She has tried Hoka and New Balance, but I don't think she will ever stray from Brooks shoes again, as long as they keep making wide widths in good looking shoes.

This shoe seems to be the best fit for my foot. I have a wide foot to begin with and a bunion on my left great toe. The wide toe box, the smooth surface on inside of the top of the shoe and the placement of the eyelets all help to prevent my bunion from being rubbed. I can wear warm socks in this Minnesota winter and still be comfortable in the shoe without it being too tight. I love that I can order a 7.5 EE size. Not many shoe companies offer the EE width. These are my favorite running shoes and I purchased this pair within a month of buying one just like them because I didn't want to be without them! I am training for a Half Marathon in May and a Marathon in October. These shoes are helping me accomplish my goals!

I replaced my Adrenaline GTS 17s with the 19 model and I love them! Lighter, less boxy, with more support and stabilization - my feet feel better in this model than in the older one. I am not a hardcore runner, just struggling to finish 5ks on my treadmill but working on improving, and these shoes are a great tool to help me reach my goal. I wore them right out of the box on a treadmill session and had no pain, rubbing, or discomfort. I can really feel that Guide Rail stabilizing my foot and keeping it from rolling. I only gave 4 stars for style only because I wear a Wide and that limits my color choices, but I have the black with purple and coral and they look sharp.

My all time favorite running shoes were the Brooks adrenaline gts 17’s. I was so disappointed in the Adrenaline gts 18’s that I almost didn’t try these 19’s. I am so glad I got these because they are fabulous. I’m training for a half marathon and these shoes are my new favorites. They are super comfortable and very supportive. I haven’t had any foot or knee pain even after long runs. The color choices are not my style at all...but the comfort and quality make up for that. But it would be nice if they added some better color choices!

I have fairly wide feet, plus a bunion on one that is getting pretty bad, so I went for the extra wide. This was a good move, since my toe box is always cramped. The back does go a little higher than I like, but we will see if I get used to it. This is my first experience with Brooks. I had been in Rykas, which are super light, but these are still light enough, and they have a really nice arch support and a comfortable foot bed.

Echo all the good things everyone else has already said about these shoes. I have a double wide foot with a very high instep. They are also easy on bunions.

I have a practically non-existent arch in addition to an over-pronation. When trying these on, I instantly felt a difference and knew I wouldn't be able to wear another shoe. I tried it on with other brands and the difference was obvious. I wear a 10 normally, but went up to a 10.5 which was perfect. The first run and every subsequent workout had been great. I feel supported, no blisters or discomfort. I usually run 3-4 miles a day so these are a gift to my feet and joints. My only complaint is that you can't get these shoes in a plain black, but the grey/black camo look is pretty cool.

FINALLY! A pair of sneakers that addresses my poor old, aching feet! I have plantar fasciitis in both feet, so have been searching and searching (thank you Zappos for letting me order, try and return, repeat until I found these babies!). I typically wear a size 9.5 in athletic shoes (am a size 9 in regular shoes - which is why the half size smaller rating). They were comfortable from the get-go. First wore them for 10 hours while working on my feet - great heel cushion, nice arch support, no knee issues, enough toe room (I have a medium width foot, flat arches). Have since worn them for several three-mile walks and have to say, they just keep getting better! No heel or knee pain, minimal foot fatigue after walking. Will probably buy another pair! Definitely recommend these sneakers!

My introduction to Brooks was the Ghost 10 about a year ago hoping it would help my Achilles Tendinitis. After 6 weeks in a walking boot and an MRI, I'm now in a Richie brace for 4-6 months. I need a slightly bigger shoe to accommodate the brace. The Adrenaline GTS 19 got such good reviews, I decided to give it a try. The toe box is wider which helps with my situation, but I think would be more comfortable for anyone. The support is good and there was no breaking in period. I ordered a 2nd pair immediately. I like the color combinations and wish there were more available in the larger sizes.

I usually wear a size 12 but found that tight in the toe box so went one size up. That fit perfectly. It is very comfortable. The arch support is just moderate but the shoe overall is quite supportive. I do a lot of walking and it is perfect -including being quite lightweight.

Someday I'll find a shoe that makes my long, narrow, flat, pronated, achy, arthritic old feet smile with pleasure. These come close. Since foot surgery a year ago the GTS 18 is about the only shoe I've been able to tolerate, but I find it a little crunchy in the toe area, and my white ones are getting scruffy . I wanted a plain black sneaker that looked okay with pants and skirts. So I was delighted to find these available in a women's 11.5 -- half a size larger than I usually wear. I'm no longer a runner but I walk a couple of miles daily to keep my 80-year-old heart going, and these are working out very well. I've left the footbed in but augmented it with a half-length commercial orthotic to increase the arch support and add a little more cushion (my natural fat pads are gone). I lace them tight in the forefoot to keep my foot from slipping forward, which gives my toes plenty of wiggle room. It's easy to maintain good walking posture in them, which my knees, hips and back appreciate. And, wonder of wonders, they are actually good-looking. (I really wanted leather, but had to return the highly-rated Addiction Walkers, which weighed a ton and looked like battleships at the ends of my legs.)

These Sneakers run true to size and are great for every day use - walking and running! They fit and look great - very stylish - great color combo and provide good arch support and run true to size - when ordering these sneakers you can order your normal size and width - they are very comfortable too!

I have purchased Brooks Adrenaline GTS for about seven years because they are great for over-pronators. This year's version is much more comfortable that the previous two year's styles. The one issue that I have with the shoes that are mostly cloth is that they have a tendency to wear poorly at metatarsal joint of the large toe. I have worn a hole in the past two pairs of shoes in this location - I'm anxious to see if these hold up any better. That said, I have to replace my running shoes twice a year anyway because I run/walk on a regular basis and I simply wear them out. Zappos is beyond compare for service! I have ordered from them for years and they never fail me.

These have become my go-to sneaker. I'm not a runner, but I walk 3-5 miles per day, and I have severe plantar fasciitis and some sort of bone calcification on my heel. Don't feel any discomfort or pain while walking in these sneaks nor after. Also exciting that they carry them in size 13 in nice colors...hoping my days of wearing ugly men's sneakers are behind me.
