With the PNW winter behind me, I can report that these Seavees boots held up pretty well during the winter months. They maintained their waterproof characteristics, which is perhaps the key feature of these shoes. The DWR coating does wear off quickly though so water no longer beads. The fabric shows fading where there was rubbing during walking. I do recommend a boot drier if you own these, as they offer no breathabiltiy and can become a little damp/stinky with frequent wear. The inside material is tearing as well in the heel and top of toe box area. That being said, they are comfortable and are suited for all day wear. I gave 3/5 stars due to the fading on the outside and tearing inside, relative to the very high price.

The shoe is really uncomfortable and I’m sad that I’ve already worn it too much to return. also the sizing seems odd, one shoe is much larger than the other. Youd think for this price and also being taylor stitch they would be quality but sadly they are not.

These shoes are a bit heavy and I like tying things looser so I went down a half a size. The fit is pretty narrow but I generally fit in narrow shoes. I've had the previous season's Mariner boot for about 7 months and really worn them out. They started to fall apart inside pretty quickly. I just couldn't come around to the green color of these new season's Mariners so I returned them. If they had done the new material with the same Falcon color as the suede old ones I would have kept them.

After just one year of wear, these shoes have started to fall apart. The inside lining is ripped and the soles have developed holes in them, which causes water to seep in from the bottom and wets my socks even during a light/moderate rain. The shoes are marketed as waterproof/water resistant, but the suede upper lost its water resistance after 2-3 wears. Not worth the price.
