These boots are out of this world! I have huge issues trying to find comfortable shoes of any kind. When my feet are measured they always say 12 med. What a croc. No way are those wide enough. Even EE are almost always too narrow. It's an ordeal finding anything even remotely comfortable. Then I needed work boots on short notice and ordered these. I originally ordered 12 4E but they were actually to large. I couldn't believe it. Returned them for 11.5 4E and I couldn't believe it. Most comfortable shoe (of any kind) I've ever owned. Wear these all the time. My wife ask me why I'm wearing them to the super center. I say because I'll walk a lot and want to be comfortable! More comfort than my running shoes. Soft supple leather. No steel toe. Absolutely fantastic. Actually wore these to Universal Studios and Disneyland because I wanted to be comfortable. Can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommended!

The fit is good. This was my first time buying something from zappos, and I feel like I was mislead. The boots seem shorter than I anticipated. After having had the boots for a week, and worn them extensively, I finally realized that there are two (2) different models of Dunham 8000 Mid Boots; one with four eyes and one with five. I looked at these boots for weeks before deciding to buy them from zappos. It seems like maybe zappos is the only distributor selling the four eyelet model. I expected to get the five eyelet boot, but didn't even recognize there were two models. I feel like I was misled.

Just got these and put them on, very comfortable and light. As a contractor who is on his feet all day doing manual labor, the lightness of this shoe will allow for more productivity as I wont be dragging extra shoe weight all day. This will be especially important in the last hour. Will update in three months about durability.

These boots fit well and benefit from the New Balance technology, so I expect they will serve me well. The only lack is arch support. Out of the box, it feels like there is not really any arch support. But I think this may be by design. The boots come with a minimal orthotic insert, which is removeable. I believe that the intention is that the customer will purchase an appropriate insert to replace the one that the boots come with. I use the orthotics from my old boots (another brand) that are worn out, and they work just fine in these new boots.

Finally a true 6e! Love these boots! They do seem to be about a half size smaller than other Dunham boots I own But the width is dead on!

I got the 8.5 4E, I was worried that the heel was slipping too much ( there is always some), so I got the 8 4E, liked how roomy this one is, so maybe should have got the 8 6E, had choice. This has a roomy toe box which not all "wide" shoes have.

Fit both size and width perfect. Wish Dunham would make 8 inch high boot

I’ve been wearing size 11 athletic shoes for as long as I can remember but I ordered a size 11 in these boots and they were a half size too large. Returned for a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I also wear a 4E and the width on these boots feels perfect. I don’t do a lot of walking in these boots but the arch support is just okay, seems like it could be better. I’ve only had these boots a couple of weeks but have already worn them through some rain and snow and these boots have kept my feet warm and dry so far. Overall. I really like the way these boots look and wear, I would recommend them.

Anesthesiologist on my feet alot. Bought these to go to Iceland and Israel. They mold to your feet. Arch support reasonable and comfortable, but overwhelming is the comfort, lightweight, truly waterproof, and breathable. The keather is Faragamo quality and it shows. I have a wide foot and bought in a 10.5 wide. True to sizi

Needed larger, wider boot to accommodate Arizona braces. These boots required no break in period and fit right out of the box. Sturdy construction, nice leather, look great! They are warm when worn in single digit temperatures and provide good traction walking on snow covered ice, and in snow. Great purchase!

These boots are the nuts. Perfect fit and very comfortable. I’m almost tempted to buy another pair and sock them away. Love the style and color of the brown ones.

I have an abnormally wide foot which also is extra girthy? I think that's a word. These shoes have so far been incredibly lightweight and comfortable. I added Dr Scholls Comfort Fit Orthotic insoles #330 and removed the factory insoles so I can't comment as to the factory arch support. I've been sized at a 10.5 EEE but when ordering that size and considering that my foot swells as I walk a minimum of 7 miles a day I was able to order with this shoe a 10.5 6E. So far so good as the 10.5 EEE was far too small once my feet swelled, the durability and waterproof of this shoe will see if it stands the test.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn (and I'm a "boomer")! They feel almost like wearing a pair of slippers, except with actual support. I absolutely love these shoes, and hope they last for a very long time.
