Peruse the reviews and examine the many comments that refer to the durability of the shoe at the big toe. I've purchased this shoe four times, as it's ridiculously comfortable, but I cannot do so anymore. The last Santa Cruz shoes that I purchased didn't last six months. Every single time, I've had one shoe (not both, oddly) wear out at the big toe. If I walked miles per day in them, over the course of several months, I could potentially understand that the shoes might not last. I do not. I typically use the shoes to walk around the house or the yard. I do find it telling that one of the two template "con" choices is "wear out quickly." Crocs apparently knows of the issue, yet seemingly relies upon fools like me to purchase four pairs before they finally learn their lesson. As I stated, the shoe is comfortable, even with the relatively new replacement sole (not as comfortable as the last one, but it lasts and is not as prone to odor. Crocs did a great job with this.) I do not like to simply complain without offering a solution to my complaints. However; the complaint, and its solution, is simple and self-explanatory. I cannot purchase again until I see that they have redesigned this. It really wouldn't take much time, much money, or much thought to do the right thing. I can only expect that it would serve the company well to treat one of its leading brands with the respect it initially built with similar quality and a fair price. Awesome product my dog loved them. He thought they had a really good flavor. I never even got a chance to wear them prior to them getting a little extra ventilation.

I TOTALLY LOVE these shoes! I've never seen a woman wearing these or reviewing them, so let me be the first. I wear a size 10-10.5 women's, and the men's size 8 Santa Cruz is a perfect fit. These have to be the best casual shoes ever made -- so comfortable, with a firm, supportive footbed and the cool canvas upper. Don't be tempted by the women's version, which is narrow and uncomfortable -- stick with the men's if your foot's large enough to make it work. I now have khaki and navy versions, and am about to buy a spare pair of each, just in case Crocs ever goes crazy and discontinues this style.

Wow. The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Honestly, I can wear these all day walking around NYC and at night my feel still feel great. In fact, I almost can't vear to put any other shoe on anymore, because nothing is as comfortable as the Croslite insole. Excellent arch support, very cushy, and those little nubs are fantastic. I wish they didn't look quite so frayed, but my feet thank me every time I put these on.

The only reason these don't get the usual high score for Crocs is because they used to cut them much wider and now they are very narrow. My husband has extra wide feet, and this cut used to fit him in years past. Not anymore. Had to send these back and he could barely squeeze his feet into them. They are a true medium cut now.

I love these very comfortable slip on . I actually use them as slippers. They are easy to wash , I usually throw them into the washing machine . Those little hair that seem to grown at the stitches , I cut them with scissor

I bought these shoes a half size smaller than I usually buy shoes because I anticipated wearing them without socks, and they do not come in half sizes. I am using a shoe horn to get them on now, but I am thinking they will stretch over time. They are exceedingly light and comfortable to wear.

Bought 3 pairs of these for my husband. The Khaki fit well, true to size and comfortable --- keepers! The black and brown however were both too small --- the black across the top of his foot and the brown hit toes were hitting the front of the shoe. Too bad Crocs can't get the quality more consistent among the colors. Happy he got to keep 1 out of 3.

Why descriptions a little bit different than most the shoes I ordered were too big for me they were size 11 so I took them back to my local shop the one in the outlets in Rehoboth Delaware not thinking that would be a replacement there the woman went back and found them got me a 10 could not have been more helpful and explaining how to exchange them I highly recommend that location and your product just because of her

I've had back problems since my 20s. I started wearing this style because it has the right support insert for my pain mainly lower back and feet. I even sometimes after I've worn them to pieces I use the inserts in other shoes. I don't recommend the soles on 4 styles of Crocs that I've bought. I can't count the amount of times I have slipped when coming in from the rain or on a small spill my kids have made. It has put me out of commission for days because it aggravates my back pain when I slip. So the soles are great in dry weather and areas but bad on hard floors when wet.

These shoes are great! The fit was true to size, very comfortable (I wear without socks) I like the insert that’s in them, and they are removable too. I just ordered another pair in a different color!

I have Neuropathy in both feet, and let me tell you, these are the BEST and MOST comfortable shoes I've ever worn. When I get home, the first thing I do is take off my sneakers or dress shoes and put one of my 4 pair of Santa Cruz Croc's on! My feet are constantly hurting, none stop from the Neuropathy but when I put these on, the pain subsides just enough to let me take a sigh of relief. The very first pair I bought was the khaki color and when I saw how comfortable and durable these are, I bought a pair of all the other colors! Yep, I sure did! It took me too long to find the grey color of the Santa Cruz, only because I never thought to come directly to Croc. I know... duh! I am so glad they have the grey color because NOW my collection of Croc - Santa Cruz is complete! I like to wear a certain color depending on what clothes I'm wearing, and being I wear a lot of grey, I'll finally be able to wear a pair of grey Sant Cruz! Thank You Croc for making such a versatile, durable and all around great shoe for me to wear!

I have read the reviews and agree with many parts of peoples compliments and complaints. 1. They are the most comfortable shoes I've owned 2. They do need work on the seams around the big toe (mine also came apart there on the right shoe)....but I contacted Crocs and in less then 5 mins the problem was resolved and I was offered a replacement pair (one of the GREATEST customer service experiences I've ever had) They do need to look into the construction of the shoe and mainly the seams. The material and soles have held up very well. I gave 5 stars because of the customer service (as long as a company stands behind there products I'm willing to forgive a flaw, hopefully they learn and fix the problem ASAP) I would give the shoe 3 stars until they fix the seams if seam issue fixed then a definite 5 STARS!!!!

TL;DR - The current image color of the Santa Cruz espresso on the site does not match the product (Dec 16, 2015). If this gets fixed, feel free to remove this review. My first experience with Crocs was awesome. Picked up some black Athen flip flips and a pair of dark charcoal Santa Cruz. These lasted me for years and were the best investments in shoes I've ever made. When it came to replace them I looked online and popped the black Athen's into my cart and then headed to the Santa Cruz page. The charcoal color wasn't listed but I noticed the "espresso" color they had listed was exactly the same as what I had so I added them to the cart and checked out. When the package arrived I was so excited to try them out. As I opened the box and pulled out the shoes I became emotionally disorientated from the combination of excitement and anticipation to severe disappointment and disbelief. "This is not what I ordered" I thought staring I immediately checked to make sure I ordered the right color - yup, it says "espresso". I logged back onto the site and looked at the Santa Cruz espresso shoe - it was exactly like the dark charcoal color of my old pair of Santa Cruz. "What's going on?!" I thought. The ugly brown doesn't even exit on their website. I was putting together a bunch of screen shots to document and send Crocs to get this fixed. But where was this ugly brown coming from? I clicked the video almost on accident... BOOM! There it is in all its horribly ugly browness.... That is not what I ordered. I ordered the nice dark charcoal color that someone labeled as "espresso". I'm currently in the process of returning the brown shoes. Please - updated the site images to match product inventory. This will decrease your returns. Now, if you're read this long then you may be like me who has to read lots of reviews while doing your research for online shopping. I really hate that I have to return these since I had been waiting so long, but that's not the shoes fault. If you're contemplating getting a pair - do it! Crocs are awesome. I only wish I didn't have to return these. PS Let me know when you have the beautiful dark charcoal shoes in-stock. Thanks

I have owned two pair of the style. The first pair or through the big toe area. My newest pair came apart On the inside where the elastic attaches to the side of the shoe. The The side of the shoe failed And the shoe front is no longer attached.Service and delivery are never an issue. I am on five pair of crocs in various styles. I am on several pair of crocs in various styles and this one is the only one I've had issue with.

I love these shoes! I wear them around my house instead of slippers. I've had 5 pairs over the last 6 years, and I basically wear them into the ground. I previously had a blue and gray pair, but recently only the khaki color has been available. I would like them in gray and blue again.
