I've had the Gen 1 SFB and they fit perfect in size 9.5. I bought these in 9.5 and walked/ran 8 miles in them. They were too small because the Goretex padding makes them thicker. I reordered in size 10. Haven't taken them out yet but wearing them around the house I can tell they are a much better fit. So, if you know your size in the regular SFB, consider going a half-size up from the non-Goretex lined shoes.

I have been wearing Danner Tachyons for about 4 years and they have been my everyday boots for 12+ hr patrol shifts. The only reason I looked for a new brand of boots is because the Tachyon tread only lasts a year and it’s isn’t aggressive enough. I saw the Nike SFB Gen 2s and immediately thought they looked dope and the tread was beefy. I also need the gortex so it was great. I read some reviews on the NIKE website were ppl said they were getting almost 2yrs out of their boots so I bought a pair. I wore them during one shift and couldn’t even finish it out. The boots are very narrow (probably due to the GTX layer) so they were super tight on my feet and ankle. The soles were also uncomfortable and started to make the bottom of my toes chafe. I was disappointed because I really wanted to love these boots. They just aren’t for me.
