Sizing for me was way off. I normally wear a 9.5 to 10 shoe size. I ended up with 11.

6 feet, 178lbs, Size 11.5 , medium-high arch My NIKE benchmark for sizing and fit is the Free RN 2018. I chose the Free RN Shield for water repellency and color. The fit is identical to the standard Free with the exception of the fabric toe box overlay, which is a smidge flatter, thus a tiny bit less roomy above the toes. Because of this, it creates a feeling that the shoe is 1/2 size to small, even with ultra-thin socks. I’m confident that the materials will “give” over time and the fit will be perfect within a few days. I don’t want to size up and loose that incredible heel cup feeling and perfect (for me) arch placement. The lacing system is ideal. This style looks so much better worn than sitting on the shelf.

These shoes are very comfortable and are great for all types of weather conditions!!

I’ve always liked Nike Frees they’re very comfy and light weight. These are awesome with the waterproof material, this is the second pair of shields I’ve had and they’ll be ideal for short runs and work!

Purchased these for my son who is in late-teens. He walked all around NYC in them in early March with wool socks and his feet were perfectly fine. He recommended them so much I also purchased them for my husband and he likes them as well.

Felt true to size, and extremely comfy. Love that you don't have laces but can still tighten or loosen the cords. Looks great in person.

This shoe is amazing! I tried them on and it was like stepping on a pillow. I go on runs everyday and so far they have been my best running shoe. They aren't heavy, they are water resistant, the bottom is very grippy and the ankle support is amazing! I would definitely recommend it.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. They are good for all weather conditions. A must buy!!

These fit well for wide widths and high arches. They are very warn in cold climate versus the standard mess Nike Frees.

This is a very comfortable shoe. It doesnt have a tongue so you can just slip it on. I just wear these for everyday purposes and so far the shoes are working great.

Comfort, style, and waterproof are great. I live on a little farm and have been able to get the shoes really wet without it soaking through. One big complaint - the design of the tread hold water/mud worse than any shoe Ive ever worn. So in wet conditions take them off before walking in my house. However, I cant do that in a store or at a restaurant so I leave a nasty trail behind me. Sorry store owners.

Coming from the normal Free RN's, I pretty much knew what I was getting into. They felt a little more snug on the sides initially, but after wearing them for a day they were comfortable. Wore them in the rain and my feet stayed dry. They're water resistant, not water proof, but they held their own during rain/puddles/snow in London. I prefer the laceless system on these, compared to the normal Free RN's- I found myself having to tie the laces on the normal ones all the time. The laceless system doesn't loosen up over time either, so I don't find myself having to tighten them up. The laces and certain elements on the shoe have good reflective properties, so they'd be pretty good for night runs. Overall, a pretty solid shoe.

I read all the reviews about these running small. I bought a half size larger but still was too tight in the toes. I have to send them back. Otherwise, i liked the look and feel

I ordered these for my 13yr old son, he loved them straight away and they kept his feet dry walking in the rain. Unfortunately they did not wear well and developed a hole in the top part of the shoe. Very disappointed. I contacted customer service and spoke with Sharon in Las Vegas who was unbelievably helpful and apologetic about our experience. I explained we usually buy the Nike brand without any hesitation, Sharon explained once in a while there can be a defective shoe. Sharon offered to either send a completely new pair or send a full refund. Unfortunately they were out of stock so I took the refund. Fantastic customer service! 5***** for Zappos! Thank you!
