I hoped these shoes would be perfect for my casual lifestyle; however, they failed miserably. They were enormous on my feet, even with socks. For me, I believe I could have gone down a whole size. I ordered my normal 7.5w, and the shoes were almost impossible to walk in because of the extra space surrounding my feet. As seems to be the norm for many shoes today, the heel is too wide for those of us with a narrow heel. The shoes are really cute. I ordered the taupe, and it is a nice neutral color in a medium tone. They are trimmed in a smooth bronze metallic leather and have light taupe/tan soles. The shoe is rather stiff and makes a clomping sound with each step on a solid floor such as tile or wood. The top of the shoes hit right under my ankle bone, and I think that might get annoying after a while. They may work for some people, but not for me.

I ordered my usual size 81/2 narrow. The length feels good. They are wider and looser than a true narrow but I’m planning to wear them with orthotics so I think they will be okay. If not putting orthotics in them they are definitely on the wide side.

I like these shoes and plan to keep them. I ordered the wide as I usually need a wide. The shoes are comfortable although a little loose. Plus the arch support is very minimal. I took the insole out and replaced it with one I already had that I'd bought to put in sneakers. Better support and fits better. The leather is soft and the stretchy insert makes them easy to slip on.

I purchased a pair of these Clarks at the Clark store. I purchased an 8 1/2, I usually wear a 9. After wearing them for a few days they felt too big. So I ordered the 8 on Zappos and love them. They fit perfect now. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day with no foot pain. They definitely run wide. I would completely order another pair.

Perfect for my narrow foot. Will look good with slacks capris or even with Bermuda shorts. Very comfortable walking shoe plan to use on a trip

These are good shoes for someone with a bunion because there aren't seams that cut across that area. I liked these but have to return them because the sides in back are high enough that they hit my ankles with every step. I got the black ones and the brown ones, thinking I'd keep them both if they fit. The brown ones have pretty copper trim around the tongue that gives them a special touch. The black ones have some sort of shiny material, doesn't look like lizard or anything but it's OK. I'm disappointed that even with my orthotics, they hit my ankles. With Clarks I usually wear a 9N but followed others' advice and ordered a 9N and the length was fine.

Gee. This is the first time a Clarks shoe felt so huge! They're like diabetic shoes. Just big all around. Too bad. I like the overall style, but they swallow my 11N. A thick sock would probably work, but don't want to do that. Also, don't care for the lining. A lot of money for a shoe that seems kind of cheaply made. Going back.

Very disappointed in the fit. I have narrow feet and usually Clarks always fit but these were so loose in the heel that I could literally step right out of them. I even checked the label to make sure they sent me narrows and they were marked as such. If you have narrow feet especially in the heel these will not fit.

Nice comfortable every day shoe

I bought these shoes to wear everyday instead of my usual sneakers for the fall and winter months. I wanted comfort and a good fit along with being stylish. Because I tend to wear thick socks during the winter I always order a half size larger than what I would normally wear with nylons or lightweight trouser socks. These are perfect. They look good with not only my jeans but also with casual slacks. They fit perfect right out of the box. Since I have bunions any shoe I buy has to feel great right out of the box. These did not disappoint.

Love these! Just wore them on a trip to Paris where we walked many miles every day. I was comfortable and stable, even though I usually wear MBTs with thick, rocker soles. The Clarks slip off easily for airport security, especially with the zippers, and the trim is stylish.

I was skeptical about the fit because zippers on shoes rarely work out for my narrow foot, but my size 9 1/2 N fits well, and they are very comfortable to wear with a pair of winter socks. I didn't notice the metallic trim around the top of the shoe in the photo, but I like that too. The color of the leather is a nice dark brown, and the metallic trim is rose gold, not too shiny.

I always have a good fit with Merrell shoes. They are comfortable and last a longtime. These shoes are attractive casual shoes to wear with pants. The only comment is that the contrasting material is not suedes but is a copper-tone leather. I like it.

I'm always going to my Brooks even when I'd like to be wearing something a little more attractive, just so I don't come home in pain. I absolutely love these booties. I wear a 10.5 N, but in Clarks, I can usually wear a 10 N with no problem. Luckily, this one did work for me. The heel is low enough, but not too low. There is actually enough cushioning. I often have to play with the footbed to achieve a higher level of comfort, but these did not require that. I'd like to get another color. I got black, but I don't wear a lot of brown and the other two colors have light soles, which I don't like, so not sure if I will order any more.

I ordered a 9.5N and it was big and loose. Will try a 9N as I like the style.

Very confortable!

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Normally, I buy a much more expensive shoe because I have a very difficult right foot that the more expensive choices seem to cater to better than the less expensive ones. It is not happy with most shoes. I mentioned that the shoes feel 'half a size larger'. That is all right as I solved the problem by using my orthotics on top of the pad that comes with the shoe. It is not easy to find navy blue so I am happy that this was an option. I also think that they are quite stylish and I love that they have a zipper in lieu of the more challenging laces.

The shoes fit perfectly, I was happy with the width, which is the hardest thing for me when finding comfortable shoes. The sole seemed to rock a little from side to side as I walked, but I’m sure you could get used to that. Unfortunately, in real life they weren’t nearly as cute as the online picture, so I’m sending them back because I’m not crazy about how they looked. The fit and comfort were great though.

Not bad, but did quite not do it for me: not quite comfortable enough to buy as a "not-so-cute comfort shoe" like my Merrell mocs, and a little too clunk to be something I'd want to wear as a dress casual shoe.

Runs quite large

The shoes are comfortable and the fit my custom made orthotic. They aren't very attractive, but for shoes for those that have bad feet, that is often the case.
