I usually wear a 9W, but I was a little hesitant ordering this bootie in my size because several of the previous reviews stated that it was wider than usual. I was happily surprised that the 9W was true to size and not overly wide. I'm all about foot comfort, and I think I'll be wearing these a lot this winter.

After trying several pairs of shoes, I chose these. The fit, style, and comfort were what sold me. Having foot problems, these are perfect all the way. They look great with leggings and a skirt, and cuffed boyfriend jeans. Being a 65 year old grandmother I can say these shoes are not in the least frumpy old lady shoes. I'm very happy with my purchase, and Zappos excellent service!!!!!

Clarks has become my go-to brand for fit and comfort. I have a wide foot, and while I need to purchase "WW" in some brands, Clarks consistently fits well in a "W". This bootie was supportive and well-made. It has stood up beautifully to being worn several times a week for my teaching job. Clarks can be a bit pricy, but worth the money for a bootie that holds up, looks and feels good on. The footbed is not removable, but the support is quite good so I don't miss my orthotics on days when I wear these. Highly recommend!

These are really beautiful boots. It is so hard to find a true narrow width in anything these days, that I thought I would give these a chance. I bought the taupe suede version. The width is almost perfect, but I put one of my insoles I keep on hand in and that snugged them up a bit in the heel. They fit perfectly around the ankle with just enough space to tuck something in, if needed. They are comfortable and soft. I love the support of the sole, almost like an athletic shoe.

I like these boots. The only reason why I returned them is that they are a little too narrow for my swollen ankles.

So this was the second pair of Clarks booties I purchased recently. Tops for comfort and casual style. I have issues with shoes and these are very comfortable , wore them with my custom orthotics, no problems after a 14 hr day on my feet... yea!!

I want to like these, but they are too loose and sloppy above my foot and around my ankle. They feel close to a sneaker in comfort (a must for me as I walk & chase my small kids around a lot), and the quality is great. The style is just okay—a little frumpy and bland for my preference, but not bad. I haven’t decided yet whether to try a smaller size.

I ordered my normal size which is a 6 1/2 wide. This boot actually measured 3 ENTIRE inches LONGER than all the size 6 1/2 shoes and boots I own. Obviously this boot HAD to be mismarked and for that reason, I had to return. I would have loved to have been able to reorder but I doubt they come in a size small enough since they run EXTREMELY LARGE.

I purchased this in an 8W and found that it was a bit too wide for me. I happened to be at Clarks store out of my area and tried it in an 8M and it was a better fit. The sales man said they are making the mediums wider because people's feet are wider. Hm? I haven't worn a medium width in years. This is a cute boot with a sole that looks like it will have better traction than Clarks Sillian Sway. Sway is more comfortable but I really need something better for rain and possibly ice on an upcoming trip.

I wear 7.5 W to WW. I was leery about buying 7.5 W in Clarks, as Clarks have been too narrow in most styles in past. But, these are roomy, and I can wear socks with them. Style is cute, grey color is the best and look good with washed jeans, but also bought the black and brown boots. Wish they had more cushioning on soles and in arches, but not too bad, most shies don't except Alegria Paloma and clogs.

Disappointed. These got such good reviews, but they are not the boot for me. First, they’re just kinda ugly. They are comfortable, so I debated keeping them for a trip to Italy in November, but the zippers are extremely hard to open and close. I have several pairs of Clarks and have never had this kind of quality problem before, so it’s a bit surprising. So grateful for Zappos painless returns!

I bought these boots for daily errands. They are very comfortable. The zippers do not open easily and if you need a wide width, please advise they might not work for you, because the area for the leg is not very large. They are stiff as well. I am keeping them as they are very comfortable for a lot of walking. I have two other pairs of Clarks boots for dress and the leather is supple. I was a a little disappointed about the quality of these, but I am keeping them for the reason stated above.

Between these and Ecco boots, these were more comfortable and had a wider toe area which is better for me. However, and sadly, the only reason I returned them is because I don’t like the crinkle style which I didn’t notice when I purchased them. Otherwise they fit great and the leather is nice.

It was exactly what I was looking for! A simple black bootie, not too dressy and super comfortable! They are light weight, easy to get on and off and fit the bill on comfort. We travel full time in our RV and space is very limited but these are keepers!

Not sure how comfortable these would be since I had to return them. It appears that Clarks are all over Theo place on sizing. The last pair I purchased was a pair of their better sandals in a 10W which is my size. I only wore them once and they were much too tight (felt like a narrow). Therefore I thought I had to size up for these and ordered an 11W. They were much too big and there was/is no 10W available to try. I ordered the taupe which is a very nice casual color. If they become available I may order to give them a try.

Cute boot and very comfortable. However, it's a bit wider for my narrow/medium foot and am returning for the narrow size and hope it fits! Good cushioning which I want for my upcoming trip to France.

I haven't worn a medium width shoe in decades but the wide in this was too wide for me. My heel slipped around a lot. Tried it in 8M and it fits pretty well. Arch support is pretty good, there is sufficient toe room and I like the style. Still deciding between this and Clarks Silian Sway.

The boot was very wide along the ankle. I put my orthodics in and still had another 1/2 size left in shoe. So it is running larger by 1/2 size. Will be returning and try another size as I like their appearance and I think they would be great once I get the right size.

These are really cute and have good cushioning in the footbed but the ankle is too wide and there is slippage. A smaller size would not fit my toes so they have to go back.

I wear 10 w's and have issues with a flattening arch, pronating, plantar fasciitis, a pulled perineal tendon in one foot, and a healing bone spur in the other. The box for these boots says the Euro size is 41.5, but USA size 10 W?!? These would have been too big even with thick socks. I thought about going down to a Euro 40, but the zippers were SO STIFF that I couldn't. Not what I usually get with a Clark shoe!

I like the style and the comfort of this boot, but the color is listed as taupe, the box says taupe but the shoe is actually an olive green color. I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep these or send them back. I don’t really have much to wear with the color. I hate this decision since I really like this boot.

This is my third pair! ...I always keep an extra pair on hand just in case the style is discontinued ?...After three knee surgeries there are very very few shoes I can wear without my knees feeling tweaked out right other than clunky tennis shoes so it's been so great to find shoes on the stylish side that work well with leggings and casual pants. My custom orthotics (that are not super thin) fit well into this shoe and make them feel like tennis shoes. I wear between an 5.5 and 6 but a ways buy size 6 to accommodate my arch supports. Without the orthotics/arch support I wouldn't be able to wear these shoes because I have flat feet and the arch support on these is @moderate" I would say.

I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable. I am so glad I listened to the reviews. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide, but I ordered this boot in a 8 wide. The zipper is a little difficult to use, but it is something I can deal with. I’m very happy with my purchase.
