True to size, well padded, cushion-y foot bed, buttery soft and pretty colored (taupe: a neutral grayish brown, just as shown in the photo) suede, soft lining, comfy supportive crepe-like, well made, low heel. Plenty of wiggle room for your toes and true to width, if you are a true medium. I have a narrow heel, too, but if necessary I plan to put in a heel insert though I suspect I do not need it. Easy to put on, due to the inside zipper. Wore right out of the box with zero break in time and no pinching. Like walking in a pair of cushy sneakers/dearfoam bedroom slippers. No rubbing on my ankles or heels. I will try to update this review to let everyone know how these cute, versatile, engineer style, ankle boots hold up in the months to come, but I am more than happy with this purchase, especially at the price point and especially on sale! So glad I decided to buy these!

These boots are amazing! They fit true to size and the top is not tight with leggings but not overly loose. The comfort is great, feels a little spongy even. You don't even know there is a heel. Very good support.

I love this boot. I want comfort without sacrificing style and that’s what I got with this gorgeous pair. They definitely are more of a gray tone (which you can see in the pics), but I like it because they’ll go with just about everything.

I picked this pair after reading so many reviews for 'best shoes to walk around Europe' and I am so glad i did. I ordered them about a week before my trip - just enough time to treat them with waterproofing - not sure if they were already, but didn't want to take any chances. I wore them around the house a few times and then threw them into my suitcase. I unpacked them the first morning we arrived in Prague and finally committed... I am not kidding, I wore these shoes every day for two fulls weeks in Europe. Prague, London, Liverpool, and Dublin. Miles and miles of walking each day. Rain and cobblestones and NOT ONCE did my feet hurt or complain or bother me at all. They are comfortable, and practical, and also fashionable! I am actually going to buy another pair because I love them so much.

These boots are very comfortable and cute! I usually wear a size 7 in boots and the 7 fit perfectly. The footbed is cushioned. I love Clark shoes and boots.

I love these-so cute and comfortable, but I live in Seattle. the suede isn't water resistant, and I worry about the rain or the inevitable puddle. Sadly, these are going back.

In the hunt for a new collection of boots suitable from that time following summer until its warm enough again to wear flip flops and flats...I stumbled across these. Let me also say I’ve had some foot injuries in the last year and have needed to overhaul the shoes/boots I wear. Well I went on the “notify” list for these in 8.5, 8, and 7.5 for the taupe suede. I am a true 8 but in some Clark’s I’m an 8.5. These were different though, maybe Bc they’re more of a flat, but like Goldie Locks - the 8.5 was too big, the 7.5 was too small and the 8’s were juuuust right. I can wear this with jeans or more dressy pants. I work in a healthcare and am often on my feet. These made the cut, comfortable, stylish under work trousers, versatile enough to wear with skinny jeans or leggings- double duty use and on sale - that works for me! :)

Ahhhmazing right out of the box!! They make my size 11 feet look cute & petite! I could wear them for days...no break in period needed. Perfect little heel to dress them up but still feel super stable. Don’t hesitate & get these! You won’t regret it!!

The fit and size were accurate, the boot is lovely and comfortable. I didn't want a bootie so this is just right because I want to wear with leggings and not see socks or worry about the space between the shoe and end of the pants.

Extremely comfortable and padded - I think I would size down if between sizes. Simple, elegant, nice heel height. Look is autumn-y.

This is a comfortable boot that looks good with leggings. I was seeking something with a rubber sole that would provide comfort for long periods of walking. Unfortunately, due to my warped foot that has a bunion, one shoe rubbed annoyingly on the top of my foot. I normally like the brands of Clark and Rockport for their comfort, but this one did not work out. I will be keeping the Rockport "Becky", which also had the rubber soles that I was looking for.

I ordered 1/2 size up in this boot since I usually like my boots with a little room, but I think this one would have been fine in my regular size

I have worn Clark’s in the past but never their boots. Was not surprised that they fit quite well. I wear an 8 1/2 and that is what I ordered. They were very comfortable and looked great. I wanted boots with a low heel and rubber sole to wear with leggings and jeans. These totally fit that purpose. Super cute. Another satisfied customer!

These boots are very well cushioned and a bit on the wider side which I need. The color is slightly different from the photos but still very nice.

Great boot! Very comfortable, stylish, good for every day. I'm on the fence about the tan/taupe color. It's very pretty, but I would prefer a true brown. I found that the boot stretches a bit, so I exchanged my normal size 7 for a 6 1/2. The 6 1/2 was a little tight at first, but wearing it around the house for an hour made it the perfect fit!

These shoes have a great look. They have the cool, motorcycle look, but can also be worn a little dressier. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day long.

These beautiful boots fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable! They are also very stylish!

Very cute, very comfortable boots. My only problem is that with my high arch, I can't get them on without a shoehorn--at least, not yet (I've worn them for about a week now). If the zipper only went down and additional half inch, it would solve the issue. Hoping more wear will solve it as well, because I don't want to have to worry about traveling with a shoehorn just so I can take my shoes off and on.

I am normally a size 9, but I found the 9's to be too big so the 8 1/2 fits perfectly. Really cute boot that can be casual or a bit more dressy depending on what you wear. Very happy

Comfortable right out of the box! These booties are more grey than taupe, but that aside, are winners!!

I loved the style of these boots but unfortunately the arch support was too far back, closer to my heel, and felt like an uncomfortable lump.

I normally wear a 9.5 and these are a perfect fit. Arch support is good, but I always add my own additional supports due to foot issues and having to be on my feet most of the day. The leather on these is SUPER soft and do not seem like they will need any breaking in at all. Having the rubber tread on the bottom is a plus as far as adding to the feeling of my feet being supported well. Clarks has been a go to brand for me for a number of years and again, I'm very pleased.

The suede on these is soft and beautiful but the strap above the ankle kept them from being flexible enough for me. Thankfully Zappos has a wonderful return policy.
