Beautiful boots but the calf is extremely wide and I don't have thin calves. Was sad that I had to return them as the calves were just too wide and it didn't look good.

Awesome boots for someone with slightly narrower calves. I am 5'2", 125 lbs, shoe size 7. Not a large person, yet cannot keep these boots because they were too tight in the calf. Just another half-inch, and I would have been in Boot Paradise.

Love! Yes they are a bit stiff at first but walking in them is very comfortable. I think the stiffness will help keep the boots in shape for the long term.

The boots are beautiful but I cannot wear the boots because of the height of the heel hurts my feet. I wish I could wear them because the leather is so soft and lovely.

These boots are a wonderful classic that are high quality and provide great comfort. I found them to be true to size and had no issues with the calf width (I would say I have a very average calf size, and had plenty of extra room), despite previous reviews mentioning them being narrow. Highly recommend.

These are the most beautiful boots I have ever owned, and the chunky, stacked heel provides perfect balance so I feel sturdy on my feet. There is a bit of extra room at the top of the shaft - at first I didn't love it but the shape complements a short, flared skirt perfectly and makes tucking in jeans very comfortable. The shaft is sturdy and structured, even though the leather is buttery soft - no sagging! The toe box foot bed has an extra pillow of cushion that makes them a dream to walk in, despite the height of the heel. I can't recommend these boots highly enough.

LOVED these! Gorgeous boots but I had to return as they are too narrow on top. I even went up a 1/2 size but the toe bed is too narrow. Boot fits but squeezes the sides of my toes. Really beautiful boot for those with narrower feet.

This is a gorgeous pair of boots. I love the color (the tan), the design, and the leather. I almost only wear Clarks boots, admittedly; they've got style, quality, and actual tread, and this pair is no different. Because they are made of good quality leather, they're a bit stiff but I imagine they will soften over time. A warning to women with wide calves: mine are 14.5 inches around, and even with the elastic, they were a bit tricky to zip up -- again, I imagine they'll mold to shape some, but I would be reluctant to recommend these to women with larger calves than mine.

Beautiful boot

This boot just arrived today and for $300 i think they are more beautiful than my LV boots that cost over a grand. These are top quality exquisite shoes and i am now a lifelong fan of the Clarks brand. I can not wait to slay in these.

I love the look of these boots. They look exactly pictured to me. Leather quality is what I would expect for this price range. Love the heal and sole! I have a wider foot and they form fitting, but not tight for me. They are wider in the calf starting at the ankle all the way up. I would give them 5 stars if they were more form fitting. Maybe Zappos could add calf circumference and height of the boot in the description for folks? That way they would know if the boot is a fit. LOVE Zappos! Super fast delivery. These boots looks exactly like what I'm looking for... Alas, they were too tight around the calf -- I was able to zip them up, and maybe they would have stretched a bit... But there was a second problem: I found the foot super stiff, felt almost like putting my foot into a wooden shoe... Given the price, I couldn't gamble on the boots breaking in over time.

In terms of style/look these boots are gorgeous. They didn’t work for me because I need a narrow heel and wide toe box.

I had been drooling over these boots since the summer so when they briefly went on sale from $300 to $120 in December, I snatched them up. Unfortunately I did not care for them when I got them. The fit seemed fine, I'm a size 9 1/2-10M so I got the 10M. There was ample toe room etc. However I did not like the look of them in person. They were a bit shiny for my taste and a bit "Girly". Think I wanted a more slightly rugged looking boot with treads on the sole. They are quality looking and feeling boots if you're interested. Just not my style.

I fell in love with these boots as soon as I saw them! But once trying them on, I was so heart broken. They are a perfect fit in the foot but the circumference was just too big. There was too much of a gap around my calf. So unfortunately, I couldn't justify the cost of the boot if I wasn't completely satisfied. I had to return them :(

Beautiful boot, but felt like I was walking on wood blocks. The insole was not comfortable. I’m returning them. I have narrow feet and they fit my narrow feet and calves nicely but the insole was too hard.

Fit true to size. However, the Calf is very wide. I am thin but I have not abnormally so and it was just too big for my leg. It also comes way up just under your knee so it looked very awkward. Also, the boots are very pretty but I don’t feel like they look like $300 boots. Decided to return.

Nice boots but calf is way too wide that I can fit my hand inside while wearing them and still have spare room. I'm 5'5" 162 lb so I don't have skinny calves. Tried them on and immediately returned them. Bummer because I love the style.

Sadly had to return. This boot is beautiful. Leather is soft, heel height is perfect for someone who wants a heel but not something to hurt your feet. I originally ordered the 10 since that's what I wear in most boots. It was a little loose in the foot even with thick socks but zipped up perfectly with some room to wear skinny jeans so I ordered a 9.5 since the 10 was a little loose. The foot of the 9.5 boot fit perfectly. It was a perfect 9.5, which is exactly what I wear in other shoes but sadly I could only zip the boot to below my calf. I have a 14" calf so with the 15" description and the room in the 10 that I first purchased, I figured the 9.5 would be the same. Nope. Not at all. Big difference. If you have smaller calves, I would highly recommend these boots but not for us thicker legged ladies. I'm only giving this one star because they need to fix the boot to match the description or change the description.

Poorly made. I do not recommend this product. Super-soft and breathable sheepskin linings were nowhere to be found. The Clarks brand need to respect people's hard earned money. This is ridiculous. I am returning them asap. Go back to the way you use to make shoes. Stop bleeding your customers. We are hard working people who just want to wear something nice from time to time.
