Just received these boots today. They are beautiful! The leather is super smooth and I love how clean the design is. I'm usually an 8M and ordered a 39. They seem to be the perfect size in the footbed and feel like they would be very comfortable to wear. The only drawbacks for me are: 1) the description says the shaft is 16.5". Mine are more like 15.5 on the inside and just under 16 on the outside. Not a major difference, but I'm 5'8" and could have used up to 2 more inches of height in the shaft. These hit 3" below the bottom of my knee. Also, the calf is a little snug--not Zappos or Ecco's problem. My calf isn't big enough to do wide shafts, but at 15.5", they're a little big for this shaft. Being leather, I believe these will stretch. I really want to keep them. They're so classic and I know I'll wear them a lot as long as they mold a little to my calf.

I generally wear a 6 1/2 to 7, and I have very narrow feet, so I choose 7-71/2. Unfortunately, even though they are described as M width, they rub on the sides of my toes and are very uncomfortable, very stiff, not a soft leather, almost feels like plastic/man made. I love the style and color, but a little pricey for such an uncomfortable boot I will not be able to wear.

The boots are comfortable and just the right height. The leather is soft.

I ordered a 36, which Zappos describes as being 5-5-1/2, though I typically wear a size 6. This boot fit perfectly, and the circumference of the shaft is large enough that I can easily zip it up over jeans. It looks terrific, and the leather appears to be of good quality.

Disappointed in the fit. The shaft was loose at the top then tapered down but was baggy at the ankles. Just an odd fit.

Beautiful boot but the fit was odd. The leather is thin but stiff and then baggie at the ankle. Calf was also a little big. Not sure the leather wrapped heel was a great idea-normal scuff on these heels would be difficult to mend or even hide with leather heels.

These boots are beautiful, but the shaft around the calf is large, so you have this calf bulge, so if your legs run narrow, this bulge will look awkward, very sad that I had to return these.

These are lovely looking shoes, great quality, perfect heel & arch support. Sadly had to return them as the width is very narrow at the front. I have slightly wide feet and an emerging bunion. These shoes really constricted my toes.

These boots are beautiful; but like a lot of Ecco products, they ran very small—at least a half-size but maybe a whole size. The calf is also a little narrow.

I love the clean, simple lines of these boots. The leather is soft, smooth, and a little bit shiny, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have narrow calves and wear an 8.5-the 39 fit perfectly. Unfortunately the shaft tapers in oddly at the ankle, which makes it sort of crumple and sag, totally ruining the nice clean design line. These are too elegant-looking to be casual and slouchy, so back they go.

The leather crinkled too much in the front of the ankle area.

Very disappointing - leather looked thin and cheap. Ankle part of boot was huge -- perfect for anyone with cankles - - otherwise it looks loose and weird.
