Perfect stagehand shoes! These feel ever so slightly wider than other ecco soft 7 sneakers, but not so much that I would suggest sizing down. I wasn't very excited about having to pay extra just to get all black--who needs waterproof gore-tex in low-cut sneakers? Then I remember that my last pair of ecco sneakers was ruined by too much winter sidewalk salt so the gore-tex might help with that. I also ordered the regular soft sneaker in all black but returned them as, for me, that model ends up having the toe break in a weird place.

I don't know how they do it but Ecco shoes fit my imperfect feet perfectly. My feet are medium width but my heels are narrow and I have bunions. Although these shoes look narrow, they fit my forefeet perfectly. This style is a bit loose in the heel but I wear medium weight socks and they are fine. I purchased them for the water resistance in all black so I don't have to worry about them in bad weather. But they look good in nice weather, too!

I already own these in red, and am so happy Ecco finally made an all black sneaker. They are so comfortable, soft, and elegant. I have a very small wide foot, and ecco sneakers in size 4.5 are one of the very few shoes that fit.

Well made shoe. Unfortunately the toe box is too pointed and too narrow for my rectangular toe box.

I have no idea about this style, since I received a completely different shoe! I received the Ecco Touch Ballerina in size 5.5 in error! First Zappos mistake since I've been ordering.

These were a comfortable, quality shoe, but they were just not for me. I was looking for a pair of shoes that were waterproof, comfortable, light-weight, with a decent tread and of a simple style to go with a variety of outfits while traveling. I ordered two different pairs of ECCOs, and while this pair checked a lot of boxes, I found the style to be so simple as to be lacking any and all personality, and the tread to be not as rugged as I expected. I kept the other pair, and I’m returning these. Sorry, little shoes, you just didn’t make the cut!

I have a medium width 6.5 foot, but this shoe in a 37 was a little too snug in the width. I also have a narrow heel, and the heel slipped, especially when I used my own insole, which ends up raising my heel a bit. Without my own insole, the shoe had little arch support, but the sole was comfortable.

These looked great! However, they were WAY too small for me. Another pair in the order I placed will work out, so I am not re-ordering these in a bigger size...yet.

Very comfortable sneaker with great arch support for my foot. Disappointed, though, that the silver leather is not as shown in photo. It’s a pebbled leather and not smooth.

First pair came with one shoe size 61/2 & one 7 1/2 . They do run a little small so I returned for a pairboth same size) size 8 (39) so I’d say they run a little small but are super comfortable, neat looking, waterproof GoreTex.

Although I previously ordered this shoe in the size I ALWAYS wear in Ecco shoes, they were too narrow, and I returned them. I re-ordered in the next size up, and they are extremely comfortable, and seem to fit even better the more I wear them.

Lots of foot problems and right to left size difference and these shoes work

Very nice shoe. I would have kept it but it ran a little small and another pair I had also ordered was a perfect fit, so I kept that one. I would say it has good to excellent support. Very nice that it's waterproof.

Perfect shoes! They are so very comfortable. No breaking in needed. I put them of and did not take them off all day. Then, in the evening, I took a 2-mile walk. They remained super comfortable. They are not high-style, but that is exactly what I wanted with these shoes. They will do really well on my next trip when I want to be comfortable without actually wearing something that screams “sneakers”.

I had been wearing another pair of Ecco sneakers for years, so I just ordered these in the same size, which worked. That is not always the case with different shoes of the same brand. The leather was a bit stiff initially but has softened after a few wears. What I particularly like about this pair is that they are not chunky-looking and that the laces and soles are also black.

Well made shoe, but for low volume feet. I could barely get my foot into the shoe, very tight and I don't have large feet.

The Zappos site suggested a Euro size 38 (7-7.5). Since I usually wear a 6.5 (sometimes a 7) US, I decided to buy both the 37 and 38. I'm glad I did because the 38 was way to big - slipped up and down on my heel with each step. The 37 is perfect - even with my slightly side foot. It's comfortable, though the sole is a bit stiff. I don't know yet how waterproof it is - hopefully very!

I love ECCO and have several shoes/sneakers from ECCO but these ones are a tad shorter and a tad tighter. I am still thinking if I need to keep them or exchange to the next size but then I worry the next size will be large.

I really liked that these were Gore-Tex and was planning to wear them while traveling. Nicer than a hiking shoe or a sneaker for walking around cities. I ordered the same size I wear in Keen shoes, but I found the toe-box in this shoe was too narrow for me. Zappos did not have the next size up in this shoe, but did have a similar Ecco shoe without Gore-Tex. That toe-box in the next size up was too narrow for me too. I guess Ecco is not for me. The leather was nice. I gave 3 stars on comfort because I thought the arch support would probably have been fine, if the width had worked out.

My skinny feet didn't do as well as I had hoped in this shoe. It is not as cushiony to walk on as I had hoped.

This is exactly the sneaker I needed but I found it very narrow and a little short (I ordered my normal size). I returned them because I couldn’t be sure a larger size would help with the width. So disappointed.

Shoe is very well made, but runs very short. Also for a low volume foot. When I put my orthotic in the shoe, I couldn't get my foot in. And I do not have "fat" feet.
