Wore them for the first time today for 6 hrs straight. This is the best my back and thighs have felt in a long time. No break in needed. Wide toe box and the arch suport is superb. support around my entire foot. Thanks Zappos. Next will be the Encore Ice slide....

Excellent, except tongue rubs on front ankle. Not used to higher shoe, will get used to it. Overall comfortable nice looking shoe that is good for foot and nice looking. I have plantar fasciitis and use compression crew socks. Arch support is perfect with socks. No pain.

What a great shoe very comfortable when you're on your feet all day.

The fit was perfect and true to my size 9. Super comfy from minute one. Kept feet cool and dry. Not pretty’s all, but comfort was my goal. I’m on my feet all day at a busy airport.

I cannot use them to walk my dog which is a long distance because they hurt my feet. They are okay for everyday use. The shoes appearance looks fine. I cannot wear my medical orthotics in them. I always buy Merrell because they fit so well and have have all around support. A bit disappointed in this shoe. The arch support feels very good.

The thing that bugged me most about this shoe is that the upper portion of the toe is a strange plastic material that doesn't look good. It seems crinkly and looks funny when you walk. Other than that, the shoe is very comfortable. I used my orthotic inserts and they fit fine. Plenty of room in the toe. The heel was too big for me, though, and my heel slipped when I walked. I tried to overlook the plastic material because I really wanted these shoes to work.....but in the end decided to return them because of the heel slippage....

I thought these were very cute in style and I liked the fit and comfort of them. I wore them to work in as an alternative to the Dansko clogs I usually wear. Unfortunately, they didn't hold up well and I had to throw them out after about two years, as the rubber sole had cracked in one place and wore through the toe in another.

It was not what I expected from Merril. The shoe runs big and fits high around the ankle bones. The material used seemed very cheap like a shoe from Walmart.
