There’s only one thing keeping this shoe from being the perfect work boot. The slip resistant is non existent. I find myself skating on dry surfaces. And when you work with water, oil, and other slippery chemicals, that’s a big problem. Also, after two weeks of use the slip resistant bumps on the sole, seem to be wearing off. Other than that, the shoe is fine. Waterproof, steel toe and all the other goodies do what they’re suppose to do. If you can’t tell the lack of slip resistant bothered me, and it’s a shame cause is a cool looking boot.

If you are used to Doc Martens and need a steel toe work boot, then this should definitely be your pick. I have owned a few pairs of various styles of Doc Martens since my teenage punk days. They fit great, are comfortable, and the soles last for years. A bonus for this particular style is the waterproofing. I do not have high arches or a wide foot, so if you are considering different inserts, you might want to size up.

They felt as if I've been wearing them for yrs the very first time I put them on! Have worn them too work now for two weeks and they are probably the best pair of boots I've ever owned!! I will be buying another pair, non steel toe, for leisure!!!

I like 'em! Only had them about a week, and not tested the waterproofing compound they added to the leather, but they look good, feel good. And the EEE toe box is wide enough to handle the steel toe, as well as give me toes a fighting chance to not get mangled too much. Yeah, they need breaking in to get the leather uppers a bit more flexible, but so far so good. No comments about longevity or anything like that, but I'm happy with them, and so much the better that my company paid for them.

Ordered a 9 which is my typical size unless its red wings or Irish setter which I wear 8.5ee these the width was perfect but they were to big and they wernt the lightest of boots. I walk minimum 10miles in a 6.5 hour shift so yes im on my feet alot it may not be an extreme environment like rain, snow and whatever else but I need a good boot to be able to last and not kill my feet I returned these

I bought these for work to both look professional and to be durable. I’d had luck with the brand 25 years ago, so I thought I’d invest in a new set. Boots fits well, although the toe box could be wider. Guess I’ve been spoiled wearing Altras for so long… I was really disappointed that these boots weren’t made in England, instead made in China. Ugh, for the price paid I was expecting British made boots. I hope the quality will hold up like the Dr. Martens I’ve owned in the past. I’m keeping my Zappos box to make good on the return policy if they break down over the next few months of daily work wear.

I bought these for my husband. He has VERY flat feet. Most shoes hurt him. These were fine.
