bought for my 79 year old aunt with a multitude of foot problems. toe box fit without rubbing bunions , fit with thick socks -feet always cold . she does not always need wide and typically wears 7. I know not as helpful review for others but if you like nice looking shoe and have foot problems try this one or other EARTH styles

Pros: nice leather tooling detail, super comfortable, removable padded insert with good arch support. Quality Earth shoes. I wear 7.5 - 8 , 7.5 fit well without slippage. Cons: the style is totally ruined by the tongue being just a piece of elastic. Why didn't put a leather tongue in over or with elastic sides, the look is totally off because of this. The toe is also a more rounded than what it appears in pictures so the shoes look a bit heavy and clunky. Had to return.

If you have problems with slippage in the heel and have a high arch, this is the shoe for you. Incredibly comfortable, terrific arch support, and very stylish. Extremely pleased!

I like the leather & tooled pattern - a dressier option to wear for business casual at work. The fit is one of the few that is comfortable for my bunions and arch support needs. Am able to fit my orthotic-insert or wear them with the removable arch support that comes with the shoes

This is my second pair of Earth shoes -- the other is a pump with strap -- and both are extremely comfortable. EXTREMELY comfortable. Soft foot bed and smooth, flexible leather. I wanted a low black shoe to wear with pants as well as skirts and leggings. I'm not just in love with the look of this shoe but I'm so glad I have it. Two great features: comfort (Did I mention that?) and a good look without socks. The beauty of these "sockless" shoes is that the profile is high enough so I can wear little low socks without them ever peeking out over the top of the shoe. I'm very happy with these. Wore them for first time today to work without a single ache or pain. Highly recommend.

This shoe fit great right out of the box. Put them on and no problems. I felt this shoe was true to width as I have a fat little foot and no pinch or discomfort. Would buy again !!

These might be a bit loose in the heel. I got the wide. I am wearing them for a while around the house to see if they work for dancing.

The colors of this shoe made it stand out. It was very rustic and aged looking. I felt this shoe was too small for the size marked. I liked that the inside of the shoe was fully lined and it seemed it would prevent chafing/rubbing. I would just need a different size.

I normally wear size 8 but sometimes a 7.5 will work. The size 8 wasn't available so I tried the 7.5 and the arch felt off. I tried them with and without my orthotic inserts and still had issues with the toe box. They just weren't comfortable. The shoe was attractive other than the elastic showing. I realize it's there to help keep the shoe on but my heels still slipped in them.

These are exactly what I was looking for in a slip-on black oxford: lower heel, stylish, sophisticated, not too shiny/slightly distressed, classy, and right-out-of-the-box comfortable. I'm a barefoot type of woman, so I'm not picky about the lack of stiff leather/less arch support in a shoe, and prefer wearing a shoe without socks. That said, I found that my heels slipped too much walking in these, in my usual size 9, and sadly there are no 8.5's available. My loss, somone else's gain.

These are exactly what I have been looking for—a non-tie oxford-type shoe that feels snug (not sloppy like a loafer). They look great, fit my foot well, and were extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, while I think these would have been perfect in a 7, I ordered a 7.5 and they are too big—and 7 is no longer available.

These are very comfortable and feel great on my poor flat feet after walking moderate distances. I haven't tried them for all day walking yet, but indications are they will be very good!

I love these shoes more than I had thought I would. They fit perfectly. I was pleased that, although, a wide they are not so wide that they feel sloppy. Glad to find such cute, useful shoes. I think they will dress up or down.

Excellent fit. There was no rubbing at the heel. This is a super supportive and stylish shoe.

These are super cute and very comfortable if they fit right. I ordered a half size up thinking I would need orthotics, but they actually have good arch support in them. So now they are too long, my foot moves around too much and I have slipping in the heel. I am returning and buying my normal size. I like to tooling on the leather but the heels are a light gray look which is weird. That won't stop me from re-ordering in my normal size, although I do have a concern that with the elastic across the top the smaller size may be too tight on my instep.

Wore them to work the 1st day I got them home. I ended up working a 16hr shift that day on my feet the whole time. They were comfy the whole time!

I have a narrow foot but my bunion causes me to purchase a regular width. Since my heel is narrow a lot of these shoes with no laces goes up and down on my heel. This one did not. I did have to stretch the shoe a little. It feels great and the style is great with jeans or slacks.

I think these shoes are really neat and I wish I could keep them, but, they slip on my skinny heel. Returning.

Got these as a gift for my mom. She really likes the comfort and style, plus feeling very stable when she's walking.

Love these shoes so much that I just ordered my second pair. I will have the cobbler replace the rubber sole with leather so I can dance in them! My solution for finding a wide low heel dance shoe!!!!!!!!

These are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I own! These are my go to for looking professional and put together on my work trips where I end up walking 7+ miles a day. My only complaint would be that the style is not really my usual taste. I wish Earth would make more minimal, classic designs. I would have liked these better just as a classic loafer without all the embossing. I think that makes them look more like "comfort shoes." That is just my personal preference though, and overall these are wonderful!

Very cute...I am typically a 7.5, but ordered and 8. They ended up running a bit big, the heel slips while walking. Will likely reorder smaller size. Very comfortable, a lot of cushion.
