I agree with the previous comment that they probably won't keep your feet warm but I do think they will keep them dry. They are very cute and look great with leggings. The real reason I bought these is because I am wide calf girl... and yet wide calf boots aren't that easy to find. These have elastic in the back so I was able to wear them. I am happy I made the purchase!

It snows a LOT where I live, and I don't have a garage...invariably, I wind up getting snow down my shorter snow boots. I've been looking for a tall snowboot that looked acceptably dressy for meetings—the styling on these is just about perfect for that. The execution, however...I've got some thoughts for the design team. The boot feels like a pretty well-made shoe from the vamp up—while not real leather, it feels like quality fake materials, and my lower legs are instantly warm wearing them. The actual "duck boot" portion is hecka cheap though...I'd be surprised if it lasts more than one season. It's thin (although lined) and so flexible I can bend the bottom of the shoe in half (with my foot not in it, obviously). There's NO support (they're like rubber slippers, kinda) and the liners are unfortunately glued in. I slipped in a low profile hard liner as adding my hiking liners made the heel fit wrong, and that helps. As for sizing, the 9 was cuter and fit my size 9 foot perfectly, but my feet slide forward in these. In the nines, that meant I jammed against the end, even if the shoe technically fit. The 9.5's fit a little too baggy, with heel slippage, but my feet don't slide forward far enough to hit the toes. In either boot, I wish the calf was thinner or more adjustable...I'm 125 with long legs and they look a little awkward in these big boots. There's no way to make them tighter. But, if you have big calves, not only are these pretty generous, but they stretch in the back! The other thing is, wearing 9.5's, I think they styled these for a taller girl...but I'm 5'3" with big feet. So they come RIGHT up to my knee...any higher and they'd be uncomfortable. I can make the 9.5s fit a little better with a pair of thick socks, although honestly I prefer thin socks so I don't sweat—that's when my feet REALLY get cold. There isn't anything for breathability, but that's somewhat expected. I doubt these will do much to keep my feet warm, but they will keep them dry. I see these kind of in the same camp as my Kamik Jennifers...waterproof footwear that can (hopefully) withstand some gnarly elements and take a beating, and I won't be crying over a $200 pair of ruined real leather boots. I find these comfier than the Jennifers...my Kamik Jennifers are impervious but also real dang stiff. It's hard to drive in them, where these have more give and flex. Here's what I'd really like to tell JBU: I'd prefer to spend more and buy a boot that looks like this but has the quality to be warm in the foot and last as long as possible (because I don't want these to wind up in the landfill!). As these are the only ones I found that checked off my deep-snow, professional-styling boxes, I'm strongly considering keeping them. But I will be sending them back to JBU if they can't make it through at least one season or if the seam between the boot and the duck bill leaks. Finally, a huge shout out to Zappos...I barely think about ordering and wham, they're already here. Y'all are the best, as I'm chronically ill and getting out to shop is just too hard!

Amazing boot just too big! I started with an 8.5, then returned it for an 8 and I believe I'll even have to return it for 7.5 as I could still practically walk right out of it.

These are very nice boots. Not sure why the reviews said they run small.

Love them! But I definitely had to exchange for a half size smaller.

Has a full zipper but I was able to slip boot on/off without unzipping. I wear 7.5/8, I ordered 8, it was too short for my foot. Felt like it would be comfortable in size larger but then shaft would be huge.

I love these boots. They’re chic, they’re warm, soft and fuzzy inside, and the rubber on the bottom keeps my feet dry and is easy to clean. That’s the whole reason I bought them. Salt is everywhere here in the winter—roads, walkways, you name it—and it ruins shoes. It doesn’t seem to matter what I use for waterproofing or even wiping them down every day.
That won’t happen with these. Rubber is great for that, but it’s hard to find a rain boot that doesn’t look like galoshes. These do not! They’re a functional boot with adult styling. Kind of King-In-The-North looking with the buckles, too. Makes me feel I could handle the woods around Winterfell. Not sure why since I never “handle the woods” here, but it does.
I like these boots a lot. I’ll probably buy another pair.
