I have been living in Oofos flip flops for a year now, recovering from plantar fasciitis etc. i was so excited to see they had finally produced a shoe. They missed the mark. Very disappointing. I can tell they will make my feet very hot, but the foot bed is nothing like their original flip flops, so if you are looking for a similar support and feel I would NOT waste your time.

I have a couple of pair of OOFOS sandals and love them. I was hoping these shoes would be like them but just "enclosed" so I could wear them to work (RN). The shoes are cute but do not feel like the sandals. Did not seem supportive at all and did not feel the immediate relief when I don the OOFOS sandals. OOFOS-just take the base of your sandals and make an enclosed shoe from that! Incidentally, I usually wear a 8.5 in most shoes and the 8 fit well (with a thin sock).

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for over four years and I have purchased a few pairs of shoes hoping they will bring me some sort of relief; but unfortunately the pain continued. Purchasing these Oofos was my very last chance since I didn't want to continue to waste my money and these shoes have been nothing but amazing to my sore achy feet. These are my "magical shoes". I am pain free as longest I have these shoes on, so I'm planning to purchase more Oofos in the near future.

Overall shoe is overpriced for an average product. I wear 7.5 and was suggested to size up to 8 - the shoe is loose. Feet tend to sweat in these if no sock worn. Back tab and height of material backing rubbed the back of my feet, but it seems after wearing the shoes around the house for a period of time seemed to improve comfort slightly. Not wowed by this product at all and would not repurchase especially at their price point.

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. I have a lot of medical issues and my feet hurt all the time until I discovered the OOFOS flip flops. When it got colder, I ordered these enclosed shoes. They were a lifesaver for the winter months. They do run small as I normally wear an 8 and I got a 9 in this shoe and it fits great. I have never experienced the back of the shoe rubbing my heel like others reviewed, but I always wear socks with them. My only complaint is the bottom sole seems soft & not very durable. After a few months, I had already worn a lot of the tread off on my pressure points. In defense of the shoe, I do wear them everyday to work, gym and or on treadmill so I have put a lot of miles on them but thought they should last longer than 6 months for the cost. I recently stepped on a rock & it got embedded in the sole and made a hole all the way through the outer sole and now my the bottom of my heel gets wet if I wear them on a wet surface.

I had high hopes for these shoes, so much so that I kept them for several months and kept trying them on and walking around the house. Today I've decided to return them (thank you Zappos!). Here's the issues: they are very cushioned which is great for my problem feet, but my heels take most of the pressure with the ball and toes of my feet raised up a bit. So, I feel a little like I'm falling backward when I walk. Also, they are not attractive. I kept trying to fool myself that they were ok, because I'm so desperate for comfortable shoes, but really they look like a glorified swim shoe. They are a little difficult to get on with the opening being rather tight especially if wearing socks (the socks get all caught on the synthetic surface and bunched up), and the price is ridiculously high for such a simple slip-on.

I have the Oomg Oofos Shoes. The fit is a little small, but they warn you about it on their site. I ordered a half size up and had no problems. The first time I wore them was after an 11 mile hike and my feet were swollen and sore. I felt instant relief and ended up telling a random stranger about how good my feet felt. The material is comfortable but it is the Oofoam that is the true winner here. The arch support is amazing. I tend to get arch pain no matter what shoes I use. These support my feet so well that I have no pain. I usually have to sleep with a pack under my knees after hiking due to how much they ache, but I haven’t at all since getting these shoes. I love my Oofos and I think everyone should own a pair.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I've barely taken them off since I got the right size ones in the mail (had to return my first size and order up from the half size instead of down). I hike alot and they are the first thing that I want to put on my feet after a long day on the trails.

I’ve been suffering with Plantar Fasciitis in BOTH feet for months ....these shoes have been an absolute BLESSING!! They take all of the pressure off of my heels and I’m virtually pain free all day ! The style is good enough to keep me in work uniform code at the office , and being a stretchy mesh they are cool in the summer heat . I may buy a 2nd pair because they are amazing

Notation in product info says manufacturer recommends sizing up - so I did. Instead of ordering an 8, which I wear in Oofos sandals (8.5 in most other closed shoe brands), I ordered a size 9. Way too big. Exchanging for an 8 and hoping they will fit. Shoe feels as cushiony as the sandals so worth trying again.

These are the magic shoes I've been looking for. They are not beautiful, not dainty, not sexy.... but they seem to be helping my chronic plantar fasciitis, and that's priceless. I walked 6-7 mi per day in NYC recently and did not have increased heel and foot pain, that is amazing. I've been letting total strangers try them on at the gym and the walking trail. I wear them to work out because using weights and jumping hurts my heels, and they help. It's like having a really spongy mat attached to my feet, instead of dragging a mat around the gym. I've spent a small fortune on shoes (Hokas, Vionics, Birks, and others), custom inserts, Protalus insoles. Nothing has helped except classic Uggs and Oofos, which are cushy enough to absorb impact. I have a size 9 regular width foot (5 foot 9, 130 lbs), and ordered a 10 in these shoes. (no half sizes) They are loose-fitting, probably not great for running, but brilliant for walking and gym. I hope they create more colors! The white soles get dirty quickly, but they seem to do fine in the washing machine, and they look sportier than the black with black soles, which feel great, but look like my grandfathers orthopedic shoes. But who cares, it's the difference between working out or not working out. I wish they made a hiking boot!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this shoe. I have too many orthopedic issues to list for my poor old feet but these shoes are just the fix. They have less arch support than the slides but it is still adequate for my fallen arches. They are a just enough ugly to be cute - and we aren't 18 anymore if we need these lovelies anyway! There is plenty of room in the toe box for my bunion. It took a few wearings to loosen up the fit around the heel/ankle area but once it softened up a bit they are very comfortable.

Having read other reviews I bought a size larger than usual because that's what everyone said would help. It was huge. I'm guessing I had trouble because I normally wear a half size and go up to the next whole number when buying shoes that don't have a half size option. For me, going up a half size as I normally would in this situation was just fine. The stretchy fabric across the top? Kind of tight, so getting them on isn't all that easy. They definitely don't just slide on. Once in position, however, they seem to fit just fine.

I have arches that are extremely high. I have plantar fasciitis. Oofos, both sandals and shoes have completely transformed my life. Are they fashionable? Not completely. Are they stunning. Not. But when ones feet, legs, etc. are in pain, does it matter? And at the end of the day, they look a hell of a lot better than every other sandal or shoe that barely comes close to making my life better. I actually like how Oofos look on my feet. And i especially love what they do for my feet, legs, and over life. No more pain. I won't wear anything else ever again.

I ordered both the blue and the black in two sizes based on others' recommendations. The regular size in black was too small but the regular size in blue is perfect. Go figure. They're not particularly attractive but who cares when you can walk in them for miles.

I had no issue with fit but little arch support as compared to their sandals. I inserted a 3/4 arch support which helped. However, after wearing them for four months twice a week for 3 mi walks the sole has totally disintegrated. I do not wear them other than my walks whereas, my sandals I wear everyday inside and when running errands. I bought them last Feb and those soles are perfect. For this price I certainly expected more longevity! Would defintely not recommend or buy again.

I love Oofos shoes, and they are practically all I wear. So I was glad to see these on offer. I ordered my normal size (9). They are a bit snug with thick winter socks, but they are plenty roomy with no socks. The footbed doesn't feel the same as the OOfos clogs, but I still think they have good arch support and a soft cushy feel. I am glad to have something to wear besides the clogs. These will be good when the weather warms up, as the mesh is breathable, so they don't keep my feet warm in the winter. Looking forward to more diverse offerings from Oofos.
I'd also recommend:
Oofos (nothing else is as comfortable).

I work from my home and tend to wear slippers during the day. However, when I started having trouble with plantar fasciitis, the lack of arch support in my house shoes became a problem. I discovered Oofos at a local running store and tried the slides to wear around the house. It was a great help! Now I have comfortable, cushy, arch-supporting footwear for working around the house. As winter set in, I decided the slides were too cold, so I ordered these shoes. I ordered a size bigger as recommended by others on the site. I am very happy to have comfortable and supportive shoes to wear at home or for occasional outings. I still prefer the stability and structure of traditional shoes with arch supports for outside adventures.

Just not as impressed as I was with the flipflops by Oofah. Not as comfortable and wore them for a short walk and got two blisters. I did order them one full size larger, but should have ordered two full sizes larger. Very disappointing.

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought! My issue is I’ve had them for four months and already the sole is worn out, I can’t justify spending over $100 for only four months
