The fuzzy lining does not go to the end of the toes, it's a slick plastic feel instead.

I wear a Size 8 Medium width usually, but bought the Size 39 Narrow. And they fit great! They are very supportive and the shearling adds some extra cushioning as well as warmth. But my feet never got too hot! Even with the Narrow width, there would still be room for socks. The Khaki color has kind of a greenish tint, but still a very neutral color. A little bulky looking, but I think they are still cute! I have been having foot issues, and Birkenstocks really help. I would definitely recommend these! FYI, I am a 53 year old woman! :)

I so appreciate Zappos' generous shipping and return policies!!!!!!!!!! I've developed a nasty case of plantar faciitis;the only shoes that relieve it are Birks - I own many styles but wanted something a little warmer for this winter. I always wear the same size but for some reason I had to order four different style/size combos to get acomfortable fit. They were out of the style I wanted but quickly re-stocked and notified me. I ordered and received them in two days. I guess the shearling footbed lining made the difference. They are toasty and comfortable. I'm on my feet a lot and am also a walker. Now I'm on the hunt for some new walkers - I was wearing Merrell barefoots but sadly, they may have been what caused my problem. Thanks Zappos!

So the shearling is lovely, but it's not on the top part of the inside of the shoe....it's only on the bottom. So the soles of your feet will benefit from the shearling, but the top of your foot will be against plastic. That being said, these are roomy shoes, so the top of your foot only feels the plastic inside when you flex your foot up. I'm planning to use these as slippers indoors. For that, they're perfect because I know the sole will be supportive for years. I'll wear them with socks in colder months and without in warmer months. They won't make your feet sweat. I think they're really cute!

I have a bad case of plantar fascitis and these are the perfect slippers. They fit like other Birkenstocks I have - I ordered the same size.

Worked perfectly These are the first Birkenstock shoe i have owned I tried the boston shearling and they were too small in the narrow, i think because the shearling is on the top and the bottom. These are super comfortable Plenty of room for my heavy wool socks I ordered the 39 Narrow and i wear a US size 8 Having Reynaud syndrome my feet are always cold and these are a nice change from the UGGS i need to wear just to keep my toes warm Thanks Zappos

I love these shoes/slippers! I put them on right when I come home from work and they are like heaven. They are warm and cozy with a light sock. My mother in law got them for me as a Christmas gift. I have a pair of birkenstock boots, shoes, and sandals and always wear a 39. These are true to size and I have the 39 in these as well.

I needed arch support to head off the beginning problems of plantar fasciitis. I had heard that Birkenstock shoes help with this. I bought shoes, inserts, and these slippers. Definitely helping.

I’m a recent Birkenstock convert (just 2 years of wearing) and I recently got these to add to my collection. I love them! Great fit (I am an 8 but wear a size 36 in Birks) and of course you can’t go wrong with the pink color! I am mainly wearing around the house but not opposed to wearing for a quick trip to the grocery or drugstore. And as usual Zappos did not disappoint with their lightning fast shipping!

I love the teal color, the felted wool top and sheepskin lining. They are very warm! They do, however, run very loose!

My feet were instantly happy the second I put these on! They are super light too.

They fit and look like regular Birk clogs, ut they have a surprise wool lining! Doesn’t get any better than that! The lining doesn’t pop out like some brands with wool or fur, so they don’t look at all like slippers. Another win for Birkenstock.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but why are they only made in narrow???? Real women do not have pencil thin feet.

I am returning these because they are too wide if you are a woman and wear a medium shoe (unless you wear a really, really thick sock) and because they are rock hard beneath the lovely shearling lining. My feet are sore from plantar fasciitis, and although I know I need a firm insole to help, these were too firm. I recommend instead: Taos Woolderness 2 (not unisex and therefore not so wide), Haflinger Journey (no break-in, immediately comfortable; adjustable strap), Earth Origins Janet (also slightly wide but OK with medium socks; more cushioning; less arch support).

So cute but too narrow

They have held up well, considering, I wore them almost daily, all winter long. The only noticeable wear is in the heel cup. I have very wide feet and have worn the regular (formerly-WIDE) footbed for 35+ years. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks that too loose to wear barefoot. I have to wear thick wool socks or they fall off. One reviewer mentioned her foot touching “plastic” in the top of the shoe?! THERE IS NO PLASTIC, other than on the sole!

Very pleased with this product. The wool upper is warm and comfortable. The wool covered footbed adds warmth as well. I realize it is a slipper but I will be wearing them as a fashion shoe. The Birks arch support is the best.

I absolutely love these Birks! I wear them as slippers and they give me the warm fuzzy feeling of a slipper with the support and comfort of a Birkenstock. LOVE.

I was worried that the narrow would be too small but these fit like a glove the moment I slid my feet into them. My feet rejoiced in the warm wool of the soles and relaxed into the comfort that is Birkenstock. These fit perfectly.

I'm a Birk convert for sure! I never thought I'd say those words. I've never been a narrow fit before but I followed the other reviewers' advice and ordered my usual size, 41 but in the narrow fit. They are amazing!! The support I need and the dry warmth of a shearling footbed. No more Ugg slippers for this girl!

I have worn Birkenstock's for years and the new wool foot bed feels great. Its warm and very comfortable and it will likely become one of my favorites.

These were a gift for my son but he looked very pleased and wore them right away. They arrived quickly and seem well made. I think they are more sturdy than other similar cork and wool slippers for men that can break down quickly. Mine have lasted a long time but large men seem to go through them quickly.

I love these shoes. They make me smile. They are cozy and warm and as comfy as all my other Birkenstocks. They run wide - I have an average-to-wide foot, ordered them in a narrow and can wear them with socks. They also run big - I ordered my usual 39 and they're OK, but they feel bigger than other Birks in that size.
