I already own a pair of black leather Hazel (also by Sam edelman) size 7.5M. I wanted to try the Margie because of 0.5” shorter in heel - hoping to wear this longer during the day. Margie is 3.25” in heel height and Hazel is 3.75” in heel height. I ordered 7.5M in Margie in nude and black but they were half size too big!!! The shoe kept slipping off my feet, I could put a whole finger in the back and it looked really off. The sizing is terrible! The heel height just didn’t look as good as the Hazel! You can definitely see toe cleavage in these. The nude in Margie is also darker tone. In the pic below, the left is the Margie and right side is the Nude patent in Hazel. I ended up getting the Hazel in 7W in Nude patent and it fits just like the 7.5M in Hazel! My feet is slightly on the wide side so I gave the W a try. I felt that I could walk much steadier in the W and also there was less toe cleavage. These shoes look so beautiful - just like the shape of louboutins without the red bottoms. Thank you Zappos for amazing customer service and also stocking the wide versions! So if you want to get the Margie, size half size down. If you get W, also size half size down. I hope this review helps others in choosing!!

Argh! I hadn’t read the reviews about toe cleavage. I have a slightly wider foot and I looked like miss Piggy! They were comfortable but I had the equivalent of double boob (quadruple boob!) going on down there. Was ugly, fascinating, horrifying and cheap looking. I couldn’t stop laughing. Looked liked Cinderella’s sister shoving her fat foot into the glass slipper. But they were comfortable and otherwise exactly what I was looking for. The suede is gorgeous and I haven’t found another shoe that looked so pretty. If you have gorgeous toes and don’t mind toe cleavage, these are for you.

The front is narrow and I could feel my toes hitting the front of the shoe. The top may be leather, but with the "uppers" in synthetic I doubt they will stretch and will not disfigure my toes for them. I had to return it. If I got it any larger, the heel will slip. It's a beautiful calf-hide print. Doesn't look like others (fake or cheap) and the color is right on.

So cute! Everyone needs a great pair of animal print pumps. They can be surprisingly neutral. What I like about these: the thin black edge that frames the vamp, the great leopard print (you have to be mindful of animal print anything - some look cheap but NOT this one!) and to me, Sam Edelman tends to run a bit wider than most brands, which is perfect for me. I will put a ball of foot cushion in them as I do w/ almost every shoe.

They’re leather so they feel a bit snug when you first put them on. But you don’t need to order up. They stretch a bit. I wear heels all day long 5-6 days a week. This brand is by far the most comfortable heel I’ve ever found. I stand and walk a lot in my heels and I have zero issue with my feet hurting when I wear Sam Edelman. They really are the perfect heels. The Sam Edelman brand also makes a similar shoe called the Hazel - I like those too. They look similar but the Hazel is a bit more pointed in the toe area with more room in the toe area. I give both styles 5 stars.

Feel like slippers

These shoes are beautiful. I got them in leopard haircalf. The height is perfect and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of padding in the footbed. That being said, it shows quite a bit of toe cleavage, so if you’re not into that, these aren’t for you. Also, I have had other leopard heels that skew more to the black colorway, but these are a more neutral, lighter brown. Very pretty.

FINALLY WIDE WIDTH shoes that don't look like they're for senior citizens. I just ordered nude and have black as well. I wish ALL styles had the wide option. I'm an 8.5 wide, that's what I ordered and they fit great.

These are going back but trying a ½ size down. Nice classic style for a good price.

I ordered the pomegranate color, which is a beautiful pomegranate, burgundy color. The issue was sizing. Generally, I wear between a 9 and a 9 1/2 (depending on brand), a 9 1/2 in Sam Edelman. Since the reviews were sort of all over the place with sizing (some said true to size, some said the shoes ran large, etc.), I decided to order based on prior experience with the brand and went with a 9 1/2. When the shoes arrived they were slightly too large (like a 1/4 size too big), so just big enough to slip off my foot. Additionally, how the vamp is cut, the shoe cut into my toes. Overall, a beautiful, but not right for my foot. Just am FYI, I am not a fan of toe cleavage and these shoes definitely have some toe cleavage.

Nice shoe, but tight in the toe box. Decided to return for the Hazel, which has a higher heel, but is roomier in the toe area.

It was just ok. It fit, but it just wasn’t as comfortable as the Hazel style pump.

Heel box was slightly larger than normal size.

These are beautiful shoes. The fur on the outside is soft and a very well made shoe... but unfortunately just not for me. I personally could not keep them because they were way too small. In length: they were at least a full size too small. In width: I have very narrow skinny feet but yet they pinched on all sides of my toes. The arch will not support feet that have arches. If you have zero arch, thin feet and don't mind ordering a full size larger, than you will love them. I was sad to send them back.

It was a toss up for me between the Margie and the Hazel. Hazel won out as it fit slightly but significantly better. Margie was cut just a little higher and it hit where i used to have a bunion, ouch!

For as high as these heels are, they are very comfortable! Worn first time for 5 hours and felt great as I danced into night. Fun, flattering and comfy - great addition to the shoe collection.
