I bought these for work and liked them so much that I bought another pair to keep "good".

This is a very comfortable pair of trail running shoes, not too thick of a cushion but not too thin either like similar shoes. It is perfectly balanced for trail running, although it is more on the firm side of things - which is good for trail running. The blue color is quite amazing and unique, it gets many compliments. In terms of size, I typically wear a size 12 (male) for dress shoes, but with New Balance and Asics I go one entire size up to 13, as these two brands seem to run small. Going a size up provides enough room for thicker socks, custom insoles (if needed) and for feet swelling when running. These brands also seem to run on the narrow side. In ordered the extra wide and to me they feel normal. The normal width might be too norrow! Keep that in mind when ordering and don’t be afraid to order wide.

I have two pairs of Trail 590v4’s in black and in blue. These are very nice shoes for the price and they perform well for light walking in semi rugged terrain. They can be a bit slippery on smooth wet surfaces but do great otherwise. I highly recommend this shoe for those who don’t need the rugged capabilities of the KOM models. They are comfortable and attractive. Also, they are available in 4E width which is important to those of us with wide feet!

I need shoes with good arch support, and these don't have it. My feet were hurting after a little bit of time in them. Otherwise the shoes were nice. If you're looking for arch support, choose something else.

The shoes felt about a half size smaller than I would have expected. I would have liked just a little more arch support in them as well.

These shoes are very comfortable..my first pair of new balance in a long time. I'm not disappointed.

PERFECT for hiking! They're so much lighter than other trail running shoes I've had, and if they get wet, they dry much more quickly.

Very comfortable shoes I spend pretty much the whole day in them and the cushioning and support are exceptional. One of the best shoes I've ever bought great value for the price.

They are pretty narrow since I wear a 8 1/2 C and they are not very sloppy. Fine in all respects, look good and stick very well on flat pedal mountain bike. They will be much better for pushing the bike up muddy or grassy slope when I need to push. These shoes are lighter than the typical mountain biking biking shoe. 1 lb., 4 oz .

Shoes fit true to size. My son loved the colors and says they are comfortable for everyday wear.

This is a very nice shoe, fit was perfect (what you would expect from a NB size 12 extra wide). Sizes are not consistent from different manufacturers. Good all around shoe, very comfortable, light weight, well ventilated so nice in warmer weather,

I have very wide feet and my cross trainers were too big for driving with a clutch pedal. I needed a driving shoe that was not so wide. These are perfect! Also they are extremely light and breath well with a mesh-like upper. I would consider these a perfect driving shoe.

Looks better in person and really comfortable. Kind of between a hiking (not even close to as bulky) and running (certainly not long distance though), but great casual shoe.

I bought these in size 11.5 D. I've only had them a few days, but so far they seem to be great shoes. Very comfortable. They are a little narrower in the toe than most previous New Balance "D width" shoes I've had, but not so much as to prompt me to return them for a different size. Otherwise they seem to be true to size. Great support for my entire foot. Bought these to wear daily to the office, and I believe they'll do just fine. May pick up a second pair to put back for when these are worn out.

It's light weight but comfortable. I normally wear size 2 E but I need to order a 4E for this one because that's the choice. I have read another review talking about this. The price is good. I will purcahse for another pairs soon.

Tried many shoes before finally finding ones which fit (length and width). Sent so many back I thought Zappos might not ship any more. Most recent attempt before these were New Balance 574v2 (E - Wide) - but not wide enough. Was also "okay" on the style of the 574v2, but found these and ended up ordering 4E wide which fit perfectly. I like how the green is offset by the touches of orange, as well as the mix of materials which shows some thought and quality. I also ordered New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Luxe in "Hemp/Tarnish" which are great as well. Seem very light and have good "bounce" - shock absorption. Time will tell how they wear, but quality appears good. I applaud New Balance for providing wide width options (many other's don't) and a decent array of colors and styles.

I ordered these shoes for my son, age 46. He said they felt great and were a perfect fit. Other than that I can't tell you much more, as, he is the one wearing them. But he did like the bright blue color!

Excellent and comfortable shoes

Nice looking shoes, comfortable and supportive, plus I was able to get them for 1/2 price as Zappos appeared to be were clearing out the last few in smaller sizes in this color. My true size is a men's 8 medium width (I'm female with big/wide feet and men's shoes work best for me). I can never tell with NB if the men's 8 or 8.5 will work, so I've started ordering one of each and returning the one that doesn't fit. With these, I needed the 8.5. My only complaint is that the loop on the heel should be a little bigger. My fingers are not big and I have trouble getting once in the loop. Still, once I got them laced correctly, I was able to use these as a great pair of walking shoes that I can slip-on.

Purchased these and New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Luxe in the same order. After living with both for a few months, the Arishi Luxe is more comfortable and better all around. I chose New Balance because I require a wide width, which narrows (pun intended) my choices. I chose the green color with orange laces and sole. This is a bold look which I like, though it doesn't always go well with what I have on. The Arishi Luxe I got in a cream color (odd) which is more subtle and looks better.
