First, if the shoe is any Nike "Flyease", it goes on by zipping the back. They are designed to help handicap people. I actually wear them to get on/off super fast when chasing kids, dogs, etc. This is my third pair of Nike Flyease. If you are old, disabled, too fat to tie your shoes, or too busy to tie your shoes (toddler anyone?) then this is the shoe for you. Also, 2 of my 5 dogs have assured me they are delicious. Glenn is pictured with her pair unzipped. The laces cannot be tightened, Glenn does not mind.

Have a high arch? Here's an important thing to note about these shoes (this review is for the Pegasus 35 with FlyEase zip closure on the heel). If you have a high arch, these shoes will present a problem. I love everything about them - they're super comfortable and look great. However after just a few minutes wearing them, the very top of my foot began to ache and when I took them off, both feet had red welts on the tops. The problem is that the "laces," which are a continuous elastic strap with no adjustability, are sized for an average size arch. Those of us with high arches have taller feet. I tried going up a half size but had the exact same problem. Even though they won't work for for me, I give them 5 stars because for the majority of people, they're going to be great. I have ordered the same shoe but with regular laces and no zip - unfortunate because I love the zip technology.

I purchased the shoes for my wife who is a two time stroke survivor with residual right-sided paralysis. She is able to get the Pegasus 35 FlyEase on/off by herself which is a major boost to her confidence and they work extemely well with her SaeboStep foot brace. She can now wear a matching pair of shoes in the same size and style. She truly is a "happy camper". Many thanks!!

The problem with these shoes is that the laces are completely 100% inflexible cording, not even normal shoe laces. As a person purchasing a wide width shoe, I was expecting enough vertical space for my foot, but the shoe rejected my foot just past the toes. Really disappointing. I hadn't been as excited about shoes in a really long time.

I am a big fan of the Nike Pegasus. I prefer it over recently tested Hoka One, Brooks Levitate and Adidas Ultra Boost. However I am not a fan of the Fly Ease lacing system. It is anything but easy to get in/out, and especially to tighten laces properly!! I will return this FlyEase (which is gorgeous by the way) and order the regular Pegasus instead. Thanks to Zappos return policy, this is so far going very smoothly.

Womens size 12 Wide. I have a really hard time finding shoes that fit. Wide toe box and narrow heel. I called Customer Service for help & Ginger helped me research this item with width and size. She was spot on. If you are looking for a slip on shoe for comfort & style, this is it!

This has a perfect fit for me. The support in this shoe is so awesome, that now I am walking like a normal person. After surgery on my bad knee, walking has been very painful. Now I am walking normal with very minimal discomfort, none of which is caused by the shoe. I am a very happy camper.

fit and size were good, it zips in the back which i wasnt expecting. the left side felt fine but i felt a lump on the right side that i couldnt get over! too bad, its a great feeling and looking shoe, just wish it had traditional laces.

I really liked the look of this shoe and it was very comfortable. The only problem is that the lacing system cannot be tightened, unless I wanted to tie a knot in the top and the back. Very unfortunate and I will be returning.

I love the look of this shoe, however, it is extremely narrow and long. I couldn't even get my foot in them to zip them on to see how they felt. The zipper is an awesome idea and would make for easy on and off. If you have a narrow foot this would probably be perfect for you.

I have a narrow foot and these run a little wide and a little larger than Nike's usually run.. Nike usually run a half size small but these were true to size.

I have weakness on one side due to MS and putting on shoes had become a stressful part of my day until I found these. They are snug but comfortable. Adjusting them is presumably impossible due to the zipper closure so returns/trying more than one size/width may be necessary- but if you have any muscular or neurological issues that make it hard to put on traditional sneakers these are worth trying

Love this shoe and the new zip design. There was no problem with needing to tighten laces as the flexible cords are just right. Since I am a supinator, I really liked having a shoe with my foot in mind. This shoe was very comfortable first and second day without my usual 2 week break-in time. I usually purchase other running shoe brands but this one is a winner!

These are meant for fashion, not running! When I purchased them I didn’t realize that the laces are permanently affixed to the shoe and that while you can adjust for tension across the foot by pulling on the elastic at the back near the zipper, there is nowhere to secure the extra elastic that is then hanging out of the shoe. Also, I have tedonitis in my foot and sometimes need to re-lace my shoes in a particular pattern to relieve the pressure. Not able to do that with these. Tried one run, did not work for me.

The shoes fit well. I like the ease of getting them on & off. But, I felt that the shoe was just not as comfortable as I was expecting. Don't get me wrong! They are more comfortable than most shoes. I have a high arch. And, I felt like there was just too much pressure in my midfoot area

Love those. My 3rd pair. Didn’t expect the back zipper, but it’s kinda nice.

I generally wear size 6 but Nike tends to run narrow and I wear 6.5 in Nike. These were same as other Nike 6.5 sneakers I have had in the past. I ordered a wide for more room in the toe box because of an early bunion. These are very comfortable and have good support. It zipper design is great, much less hassle than tie sneakers. I like these so much I ordered a pair for my 80+ year old mother.

I really like these shoes. I'm not usually a big Nike fan, but I bought these really more for the style than function. I was pleasantly surprised. They are a very comfortable shoe. Lots of cushion, and VERY cute. I also really like the zip closure on the heal. I have a toddler and it's very quick and easy for getting my shoes on so I can then go spend 30 minutes putting his shoes on. ;) Overall great shoes. I'm even considering another pair in a different color.

Super comfortable shoe. Not sure how long the velcro closure will last but I like them a lot. Lots of compliments.

This is my. second pair of zoom pegasus 35 flyease running shoes. They are incredibly comfortable. I never had a width choice before and chose wide as my feet are a bit on the wide side and they fit perfectly. The back zip way to get them on and off is genius!!!

Love these shoes. I didn’t realize that they unzip in the back to slide your foot into. I wasn’t sure about that at first, but it really does help the fit be very comfortable. The arch support is pretty substantial.
