awesome shoes with great closures

Love these runners!!! So comfortable!!

I’m an ADIDAS girl at heart. However, they quit making my shoe. I was heartbroken! I need a supportive runner that I can also chase kids in (I’m not a great runner... so, if you are a pro runner, take this with a grain of salt). I don’t like a sloppy toe box. I like my shoe snug on my heel. I want my shoe right along the top of my foot. This shoe checks all the boxes. And, the closure system? Fantastic. I will buy this shoe, for the closure system, forever.

So comfortable, I was a little undecided when I first tried them on, although they don’t seem to have much cushioning at first, I’ve had no issues while running. The tie system is great support. You can get a compression feel across the top of your foot which I love. I will say, if you have an extremely narrow foot you may have a problem. I have a slightly narrow foot and on long runs I have it completely tightened . Love the look of this shoe!

This is my second pair of Fuel Core Sonics. I love them. Very stylish, comfortable and great for exercising. I love the pink heather color though is is more of a light purple but still pretty. I hope NB keeps making this shoe because when I wear this one out I will want to buy another. The black is super stylish.

These shoes are beyond fantastic. The BOA closure is the best. Great comfort and support, less heel slippage than any other comparable shoes I've tried to date. The fact that they look extremely cool is just the icing on the cake. Wish there were more colors. No Velcro, no laces, no straps...touch a button and they're off. Can't imagine why more manufacturers aren't utilizing this closure system. Try them, they are a game changer. If snug fit is a problem, consider going up half a size...I almost did, but after wearing them am glad I decided to wait and see how they felt after a while. Happy camper here.

I love this shoe. It is very comfortable and I love that NB has various widths. The shoe that I received is identical to the picture in both style and color. Such a great color that is still very neutral. Very pleased with my purchase.

These are exceptionally comfortable. Notice the little white disc on the side of the shoe. That's used to tighten or loosen the shoe across the instep and it works well. My only negative feeling about the shoe is its color. I really didn't need yet another pair of black shoes and so got the other color, which turned out to not be mauve as the color label suggests, but is more of a light beige. I would have preferred something darker b/c I just know these are going to get quite dirty, just from normal running around.

These are the best arch support shoes ever, and I've been looking for a long time. They are also very cool looking.

Love these shoes. They are really comfortable and nice for workout.

heel was too high and tight

I like New Balance shoes in general, and needed a pair of black shoes with good support that looked less like conventional athletic shoes. My feet and ankles swell, and that makes getting these shoes on a bit of a chore, but I've decided to keep them because once on, they're comfortable. I'm hoping that the opening will loosen up a bit as I break them in. That would make them absolutely perfect. I put them on this morning, to test them around the house, and ended up keeping them on all day.

I like the mechanism for closing, but the shoe overall feels stiff, with not enough arch support. I need these to be comfortable right away for a vacation involving a lot of walking, so I am returning.

I stand on my feet all day. I tried them on after work one evening, my feet hurt almost instantly. These went back to zappos

I got these shoes because I’ve been pleased with my prior New Balance shoes and wanted the convenience of not having to deal with laces. However, the edges of the shoe dig into my inside shoes, making them hurt. Maybe they just need to be broken in, but I don’t remember having this issue with my other New Balance shoes. I’ll update the shoes after I’ve had a chance to wear them a bit longer to see if they soften up.

These shoes are cute. I am looking for a supportive running shoe. The problem was that the lacing system would only get tight in the wrong places. I could not get them to tighten around my ankle to prevent my heel from slipping. Every time ran in them, I ended up with bleeding blisters on my Achilles. Also the Achilles area curves inward with a piece of trim that digs in. The soles and toe baskets were comfortable. I returned them and am still looking for the right running shoe.
