Recent knee problems precipitated my searching for new running shoes to help stop my over-pronation and also accommodate orthotics. I also have very hard-to-fit size 11 feet that usually require size 12 in running shoes. Until I ordered several brands from Zappos, I honestly never realized how different running shoes fit. An online search for " running shoes for low-arches/over-pronating feet" led me to try these NB Vongo among others. The minute I put them on, I wanted to cry tears of joy! They are cushiony, yet supportive, athletic yet perfectly "athleisure" in styling. In just a short time they have given me support that no other running shoe ever has. For me, they are PERFECT. And another HUGE thanks to Zappos for allowing me to have my very own shoe store at home - - something women with my size NEVER find in a brick-and-mortar shoe store!!

Well, I ordered a size 7w and received an 8w, although the packing list stated they were a 7w. I was going to return them until I slipped them on. It was love at first sight. They felt a little too big at first fitting but once I added socks to the mix, they feel perfect. I'm so glad this mistake happened. Now I have to say that possibly I could've squeezed into a size 7, but my feet are so much happier in these 8's. I walk in them daily and my back pain is gone. I love, love, love them.

New Balance in the past was always a well-fitting, comfortable shoe for me. Lately, however, the brand has changed. These Vongo v3 shoes look great and felt good when I put them on. After about a half hour of walking around the house, though, my feet began to ache. I'm returning them.

Really surprised with the amount of support this shoe has. It feels like a very thick and supportive sole that really comforts my plantar fasciitis. I am 7 months pregnant and found these shoes to be exactly what I need to get me through my last trimester. Would strongly recommend these if you have to be on your feet most of the day.

I have terrible plantar fasciitis and severely overpronate - and these shoes have been great for me. Fit true to size. I wear a 6.5 in most shoes, and the 6.5 fits well. I appreciate the wider toe, but wouldn't say they are a wider shoe overall. I generally order regular or wide because I hate anything that squeezes my toes, and regular width fits me well. Finding a shoe I can wear without pain for working out, long walks and working events where I am on my feet for hours is hard. I bought the Brooks Adrenaline over and over for years, until the changes they made in the last 2 years made them unwearable for me - since then I have been on the hunt for a replacement. No Nike shoe, even those marked for overpronation, ever offer enough stability, and are usually too narrow in the toe for my liking. I tried several pairs of Hoka One Ones, but as much as I loved the cushioning and desperately wanted them to work for me, those created for overpronation had so much arch stability it caused me additional foot pain and created stiffness in my ankles. These New Balance shoes offer me excellent arch support without being overly pronounced, stiff, or soft. They are extremely light, which is an added plus for travel. The material is breathable, and I appreciate New Balance not making these with the stretchy fabric that seems to be the trend these days. They are also fashionable and cute. I am really loving them, and considering buying another pair. I would only like them better if they didn't have a white sole - it's a personal preference, but I prefer a black or gray sole for walking shoes as white tends to look dirty rather quickly if you do outside activities.

The fit was good. I ordered a wide for my bunions and the width doesn't irritate them. Also, it helps with the over-pronation that leaves one bunion constantly aching a little. They are right on the line of cute enough to wear with jeans and of being a little too athletic looking. But it's worth it because they are so comfortable and good to walk in.

This shoe has excellent stability. I have fallen arches and wear custom orthotics so I have to purchase a size and 1/2 larger than my normal size. I have to have a lot of stability in my shoe and this one fits the bill. Color is sort of basic but it's the comfort I look for.

I wasn't sure about this shoe when I first put it on, the height of the toe area seemed tight. But I quickly realized the foam cushion insole just had to adapt to my feet which happened quickly. I wear a wide, 7 1/2 and the fit was very good; no rubbing or squeezing. It gives support to my feet. Everyone is different and not all can love one product. For me, this was a good choice. I have a lot of issues with my feet right now and these shoes are providing comfort and support. I am pleasantly surprised with these as I usually go with the Brooks brand. I would recommend giving it a try. With Zappos, you can return if you do not like them and get something else.

Toe box on right foot (where I have a bunion), way too tight. Tried to walk around house, and within 5 minutes, bunion was red and aching. Returning.

I have Achilles tendonitis and was told I “over-pronate” and that I needed a shoe like this. These shoes with orthotics and heel lifts have dramatically reduced my pain. What a difference. I’ve used the same orthotics and heel lifts in other shoes but there is no comparison. I feel like these are allowing my tendons to rest and heal. I’m so happy with them.

I have a wide foot with slight bunions and distance run. My go to shoe has always been ASICS, although I have worn brooks and new balance over the years. I LOVE this shoe from the first steps. I have now run about 25 miles in it. It is cushiony and still light enough. The footbed at the toe box is wide enough and has no odd straps or stitching on the outside that rub or constrict my foot. I am actually buying a second pair before anyone decides to redesign it and mess it up. I LOVE this show.

I love New Balance. My personal favorite. They just work best for me -- the fit, the cushioning. All about the comfort! I don't run anymore, but like good shoes for walking. I'm 70 years old, have rheumatoid arthritis, and walk 25-30 miles every week. Keep going. Try 'em!

Walked 3 miles in shoes right out of the box and no pain or blisters! Excellent cushioning. I put in insoles for good arch support.

These shoes are so comfortable, but less than 3 months the fabric is starting to crack and I have holes in my sneakers.

Very disappointed. I ordered these hoping for a stylish shoe that helps with my over pronation. I usually wear an 11 M but I ordered these in a 12 W just to make sure they were roomy enough. They were so tight and uncomfortable I had to take them off immediately.

I had the Vongo V2 and I can’t see any difference between those and this version. Love them both. Feel cushiony but not clunky. I use them for running only. I’m flat footed, moderate pronation, can have plantar fasciitis and these shoes keep all my issues at bay.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have purchased. I have problem feet- bunions, hammer toes, collapsed arches. The mesh accocomdates the abnormalities and the arch support is in just the right spot. I wear them to the gym and bought these black ones to wear around town.

Fantastic for flat footed over pronators like me! It has the deep and wide angled sole holding your feet to the outside edge (no insert required) similar to Brooks Ariel. (It is not as obvious in the photos.) But a different color and style. Really excited by this new offering from new balance. It does not look so much like an "orthopedic shoe". It's mostly gray on top/front (which I wanted so it would not get dirty too fast). The bright pink is mainly on the heel back. I have worn NB (rollbar) shoes in plain black for years so I'm really delighted with the style upgrade!

Looking for a low differential, this one is 4mm. I ordered the wide and it fits well although I may try the extra wide. Has an awesome feel and there is some give in the insole. I wear Hokas most all the time and this comes close to a HOKA.

The foam sole of these shoes make them so comfortable! I’ve done a few runs in them and absolutely love them! I have the icy blue color and I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on them. I’ve already bought a second pair for work!

i am must be on the hunt for the holy grail of shoes. i have flat feet, a bunion on the right and need stability and arch support. i have literally gone through half a dozen pair, including asics(which used to be the best before they changed their toe box width), brooks, saucony, nike and finally these. these were uncomfortable right out of the box. the heel height felt like you were falling forward and the toe box where my bunion was is too narrow with no give. literally like wearing a vice. the stability and support were good however.

These fit nothing like my older New Balance Vongo ..... they are way more narrow and just so tight around the arch. In fact, I had very little lacing left as I had to keep them loosely tied. I have an older pair of Fresh Foam Vongo that I also purchased from Zappos, and they fit perfectly right out of the box. I thought these would be the same, but I sent them right back. Disappointed!

I usually wear a 71/2 shoe--but always go up a half size with running shoes--which I did this time--Bought an 8 medium--size was fine--but the shoe did not have the support I needed and I felt they were awfully clunky --felt like Daisy Duck--Hate to send them back, but think I'd be happier with another choice.

I need sneakers that provide strong toe support as I had metatarsalgia and learned from Podiatrist to make sure the front of the sneaker does not bend easily. In addition I have slightly wide feet and an arthritic big toe so I need room for that!.....these sneakers fit the bill but I had ordered some others and just picked a different one because I didn't like the lace on top of the white.
