I have too high of an in-step so unfortunately it's not the boot for me. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and ordered a size 9 boot. Wearing thin socks I had to pull and pull to get my foot in, and once my foot was inside the size and width were great. The thickness of the vinyl was much more stiffer than I anticipated, so that combined with the struggle of getting them on and off I decided to send them back.

Nice but don't fit right. They said go up if you are a size and a half but these are just too big everywhere. They bulge into my ankle and are just uncomfortable....

I have had previous Bogs & bought these because they were rated warm to -58 degrees. They aren't anywhere near that warm! My toes are frozen after 30 minutes in 35 degrees ABOVE zero even with the addition of a sheepskin insole! They are waterproof, but their insulation value doesn't cut it below 40 degrees, let alone 58 below zero. They are a disappointment.

I hoped to use these for beach walking, especially wading through little creeks that run across the beach on the Oregon coast. But they're just too heavy for that, too heavy for walking two or three or 4 miles. They are good for stomping through muck, but not for long distance walking.

I usually wear a size 8 1/2 so I bought the size 8 based on reviews. However, it fits like a size 9: it's big. Bogs now has limited half sizes on their footwear which is unfortunate since I've been a loyalist for a decade. Looks like I have to start looking for another brand.

Well made, too narrow for toes. I usually wear a medium width.

These had the right length but my foot was swimming in them. Plus they were ugly. Returned them immediately. I bought a pair of different BOGS at Sierra Trading Post for significantly less but the stying was much nicer and they fit so much better.

These were good muck boots but I needed waterproof shoes comfortable enough to hike in.

I love the boots! They are easy to slip on. They keep my feet warm. I will use them in the snow and the rain to take my dog out. Because of the snug fit, they are a little challenging to get off. I have to sit down and pull them off with two hands. The boots are a little bulky in the front area. The rebound technology is incredible. I literally have a slight bounce in the heel with each step I take. So far the boots are working out very well!

Loved the fact that I could slip into them with winter heavy socks and not hold on to the boots. Bought 1/2 size larger and it works with heavy winter socks. Seem to be warm in frigid temps. waterproof. However, they are just plain "clunky"...other boots I can wear all the time and they feel good. Although these fit, I will only wear them in extreme cold or wet weather because they throw off my gait and tilt me forward. Something is very odd about how they fit in the heel.

TOO HEAVY. Going back. I don’t understand how anyone would enjoy walking around in these.

These were very wide compared to my other two pair of Bogs, Andy I have wide feet!. I had to return them as they were just too sloppy to walk in.

I have had my first pair of classic mid bogs for several years now, and I love them more than any shoe I have ever owned. I love the handles and how easy they are to slip on and off. They are perfect for around the farm and any work outdoors. I also bought a second pair of classic talls to keep nice for wearing to the office in the winter. It is now time to retire my mids and I was super excited to replace them with these neo classic mids since they are advertised as being more light weight, and since I wear mine year rounds, they do get very hot and are overkill in the summer. While these neo classics are definitely light weight and extremely comfortable, they are sadly just way too bulky to keep. As a previous reviewer said, it's like a totally different boot than the normal bogs. They also run a full size too big, compared to my three other pairs of bogs. If they would have kept the same shape as the classics, these would have been perfect. Unfortunately, now my only option is to go back to the classic mids, which now have the shiny black rubber that I don't like, and are too bulky for year round use. Last summer I bought a pair of short, slip on bogs that I think were called a garden or rain boot, but they weren't near as comfy so I continued wearing the classic mids around with my shorts and tank tops on 90 degree days. I was really hoping these were the year round solution but they are not.

Returned size 7 because they were too big and asked for a size 6. They sent me size 8 - a size LARGER. Not paying attention - no quality control on orders going out. Nice boots but too much of a pain to deal with.

Our whole family has bought Bogs for years. We decided to try the Neo-Classic Mid for farm/work boots since they are smaller and lighter. Well, sadly they are terrible! They rubbed my daughters legs raw the first time she wore them. We are so disappointed and would return them if we could, but since she wore them for a full day at work, we cannot. Biggest waist of money!!!

Warm and comfortable but I am amazed that a winter boot would have such terrible tread on the soles. I'm pretty sure non-slip soles have been around for a pretty long time, so I don't understand why they chose the wavy lined tread for these boots. They usually don't slip in the forward/backward direction, but the lack of cross-hatching in the tread design, causes them to slip sideways. I live in an area that has snow and ice all winter long and I have fallen a few times and almost fallen several more. They have gotten even worse with age (this is their 3rd winter). In the past I had Sorel boots that did not slip, and also lasted for 25 years! Not a fan of these boots.

I had high hopes for these boots as I live in Minnesota and I need sturdy boots for walking outdoors. They are definitely warm but very uncomfortable for long periods of walking outside. They've started to bruise the inside of my ankle, which makes it painful to walk with them on, as well as rub the back of my ankles. They would likely be fine for standing outside without a lot of movement involved, but not for taking winter walks.

Sadly, I don't think I can wear Bogs boots. This is the second size I've tried in these--first was overall too big. This one is barely long enough (size 11) and so wide that my foot slips around inside. So I've returned these also.

Had to return because they were too small and have tried them in the next size up and too big. Wish they came in half sizes! I have a really old pair of these boots and just love them and sad I couldn't get one of these sizes to work. Bogs has obviously changed the style as they seemed much wider and clunkier. I also have the Suavie style Bogs which run true to size and fit perfectly.

I bought this boot for all seasons small scale veggie farming in the PNW. I chose this style because the harder plastic had higher coverage than other bogs of similar all-together height. I wanted good waterproof effect. I am satisfied with the boot in this factor. However, the plastic part is thinner than I would have wished, even for a summer rated boot, I'm anticipating that cracks will form sooner than later where the toe creases from repeated crouching and kneeling. A visible crease is already forming after two weeks of work. Additionally, the sizing is definitely large and much wider than other Bog boots I have owned. I really don't have much support side to side, and front to back, my foot slides around too much even with a thick winter sock. I wear a size six. Finally they are rated at 58 degrees fahrenheit even though it is it listed under the winter boots on the website! They are a bit cold, since the toe area has little insulation. I'm very disappointed after spending a good chunk of money thinking these boots would last me a few years of farming. I wish I had retuned them before I tried them out on the farm.

The neo-classic mid boots are clunky and large. I went a full size down and they were still too big. I am returning for classic mid boots, which have a better fit and don't look or feel as much like wearing clown shoes.
The linen color was cute. They pulled on/off easily, and they are clearly warm enough for snow and ice.
It would be really helpful for Bogs to use a model to show the look of the boot on a person from various angles rather than just the boot alone.
