This waterproof boot is perfect-incredibly comfortable, great arch support, and totally unique. First of all let me preface this review by saying that I did not have a chance to break them in. I literally took them out of the box and proceeded to wear them 15 hours straight traveling on and off planes and schlepping through airports. Upon arriving at our destination I wore them three more days straight sightseeing and doing everything else people do when visiting Nashville for the first time as a 60 year old plus (think lots of walking and dancing and eating). I received compliments on them everywhere I went. I am looking forward to some California rainy weather soon so I can wear them again! I have never written a review before but these boots were so comfortable I just had to write this one. I normally wear an 11 1/2 shoe and this size 11 was like I said in my initial sentence-PERFECT!

I loved these rain booties. I have wide feet and was hoping they would work as l have a hard time finding rain boots. Unfortunately they are too narrow. They are probably true to fit for most folks.

I really wanted to love these boots. The design was great (I had ordered the black and white one). The boot felt great except it was too big for my heels. I normally order a size 39 (9- 9.5) in this brand and I haven’t ever had a problem with the heel size. I was very sad to return them as I loved everything else about them. But bad they went.

Cute and seemed to be well made but run a good size larger overall. Decided to return as I decided on a higher back.

I so wanted to keep these boots. As for looks, they quite fashionable as far as rain boots go. And they were light! Some boots weigh more than a pound, but not these! I could tell they would be very comfortable if only they were wide enough. Sadly, both pair I tried on were too narrow for my foot. And since they were neither leather nor fabric, I knew they would never give enough to fit all my toes comfortably. So back they went! But if you have a narrow foot, you might just want to give them a try. They are quite lovely rain boots.

First these have a moderate arch support but an arch forms. I have flat feet and do not have to wear my orthotics with Alegria because a wonderful arch forms. I loved these boots and have been wanting them for some time. They arrived yesterday and true to Alegria they were wonderful. However, I have arthritis in my left ankle and they hit right where I have the problem, so as much as I hate to, I must return these. It kills me because otherwise they fit wonderfully, even with slightly heavier socks. They aren't as wide across the toe bed as the Alegria shoes are but they still fit as well. There's nothing like the Alegria insole. Like walking on a cloud. I've gotten 2 friends to change over to Alegria, and now it's all we buy.

Just the boot I was looking for! I am planning a trip to rainy London and needed a comfortable rain boot for walking long distances. This boot was very comfortable. The sole is very supportive and the arch support is great for me since I have somewhat high arches. The upper is kind of stiff but I assume this will improve over time. These were comfortable for me right out of the box. I usually wear a European size 40 but I followed their sizing instructions and purchased a 39. It fit me fine, if a bit snug.

Updating my review from "Hoping, Zappos Customer, January 23, 2019." So, I decided to stick w. the size 39. That was the right choice. These shoes have been amazing! They are comfy, waterproof, and stylin' (get SO many compliments on them). I regret not wearing these sooner. These do not stretch like other Alegria's, so be sure to pick what feels right when you try them on. I have had not blisters from breaking in these babies, it has been smooth sailing all the way. It got to the point that I was looking forward to rainy days. These rain boots are the jam!

I have several pair of Algeria shoes and I can’t say enough good about them. I have bumps on the top of my feet from arthritis, aching feet and need arch support. I can’t wear the cute shoes of my youth but this brand has many fun styles and prints. I have this boot in a print and clogs in a print. I get many compliments on them, and I’m 72!! Never too old for fun shoes when they’re this comfortable. I love this brand. Also love Zappos, great service.

If you like Alegria shoes (I’m a huge clog fan!), you’ll like these rain boots too. Comfy inside like you like and waterproof outside. Just do it.

Funky and comfy. Love them.

These are super cute and stylish, but I had to return them. I wear a size 8 so I ordered these in size 38, which is what I wear in Dansko and other European made shoes. I also ordered another style of Alegria (the Caiti) in the same shipment, also size 38. For some reason, the Climatease were too tight, even though the other Alegrias in 38 fit perfectly. The Climatease had two pads that "grabbed" the ankle, I guess to keep the boot in place, but those ended up making the boot feel too tight, and my ankle is kinda slim. The front part of my feet are a little wide, and the boot was too snug there. Not sure if a 39 would have fit well enough but I returned the Climatease because I ended up keeping the Caitis.

These are adorable and comfortable - however, they're not as supportive as other Alegria shoes I've worn. They're also more narrow. After wearing them for 1-2 hours, I definitely feel the lack of the usual arch support.

These are so nice looking but the toe box is small. The shoe is narrower than most Alegria shoes in the sole and the ankle. I hate to send them back I bought them for traveling but its not the right time to see if they'll stretch a little.

These boots are not comfortable at all. I have had Alegria shoes before and they felt great! These are SO stiff, they poke into my feet and even inside, the heel cup is too tight and is squeezing my heel too much. They feel stiff when I walked in them a bit and are just really not a boot I would want on, didn't even have to zip up the side zipper to find all this out. Right back into the box and back to ZAPPOS. Thanks for making it easy to return when we do get stinkers like this boot.

I own several pair of Alegria footwear. This boot seemed smaller, narrower and with less arch support than other models of Alegria. The footbed is different than my other Alegria models and didn't seem as supportive. For some ladies this might be a nice rain boot. But not for me, sent it back. Thanks Zappos for your awesome return policy.

While I like the style and material, the heel on this boot is extremely narrow and slopes inward on both sides. If you have ANY ankle issues, especially with pronation or hypermobility, or a history of sprained ankles, you would be wise to avoid these because they’re very unstable. I tried walking around my house and nearly fell on a level surface because of my ankle hypermobility. My other Algeria’s are far more stable and have a flat surface on which to walk. These look stable but they’re just not. Had to return.

These boots are cute and lightweight. I followed what other purchasers said about sizing down and unfortunately they were too small. I would size down in a half size but they will probably be too big if I order my full size. I wear an 8 and ordered a 7. Wish they had a 7.5

These were for my wife who wears a 7.5, and they were a little too snug (size notes 7-7.5). She loved them otherwise, some I’m getting the next size up.

Loved the look and feel of these shoes. Sadly the ankle area was too snug and the zipper was straining to pull up. Returned.

I have several pairs of Alegria shoes. I have plantar faxciitis, and Alegria shoes mean no pain for me. I needed something to wear in the rain/snow/slush, so I bought the Climatess Wild flower print. The first time I wore them, it was raining pretty hard. These booties were comfortable, gave enough support, and kept me dry. They are really cute - love the floral pattern. I got lots of compliments on them. I would highly recommend these.

I typically wear size 7 1/2 M and size 37 in these fit me great. They have a descent amount of arch support and the arch was in the right spot for my foot. The innersole is removable so I’ll most likely still use my own orthotics in them but it’s nice to have the option. I really like that these are actual shoes and fit snuggly, just like a shoe, without extra space inside like some other rain boots/shoes I tried. They’ll look really nice with skirts, dresses, cropped jeans, boot cut jeans, leggings and work slacks. I first tried the Wackadoodle print in black and really wanted to keep them for their happy, funky look but every time I tried them on I felt like I had clown feet with so much print. This is due to the fact that there’s quite a lengthy amount of shoe that runs from the ankle to the toe and also, the toe turns up at the tip. I was also afraid I’d get tired of the print after a year or so, so I ended up with the black patent and am very happy. The “clown foot” aspect is kinda camouflaged by the color and shine and I feel they’re classic enough that I won’t get tired of the color and will wear these well-made shoes for many years.

These are so so comfortable! Just wish they came in a matte solid black instead of patent. But overall I love them!
